Very stiff and not at all comfortable.

Such cute shoes but the Taos arch was too high. Will be returning them.

These were just too tight - even after loosening the laces it felt like my feet were being squeezed too tight. The arch support was also too high for me - so these might be better suited to someone who has a higher arch.

The tongue of the shoe rode against my ankle. It was very uncomfortable.. I’m very sad to be sending them back because otherwise they were perfect.

They feel a bit small and I thought they were advertised as slip ons but they have laces that tie

Material was a bit too stiff and faded looking-not enough room in upper toe box area-uncomfortable after wearing for only a few minutes probably due to the stiff insert-also item did not arrive in its original shoe box so wonder if is actually first quality shoe

Liked the look and decent arch support but very thin sole around the ball of the foot. Also ran small. I normally wear a EU 38 or US 7. These were small even without socks.

hurt my bunion due to stitching on the side, but arch support was good

Hey, I love the style of the shoe but I couldn’t fit it because it runs short and I seem to be between sizes with one too small and the other two back.

They look exactly as pictured. I like the style and they have good arch support. They’re stiff though. I’ve had them for five months and they still give me blisters.

Everything was fine but the left one turn a horrible funky yellow color. I did spray both of them with a protector to keep them drier and cleaner.

I wanted slip on sneakers and the pictures of this shoe looked to be slip on- but they are not; they have laces you need to tie.

I love the comfort and style, but these shoes are extremely difficult to put on. Unlacing quite a bit and a shoe horn is necessary.

Felt true to size to slightly large; my heel lifted out of the shoe a bit when I walk, even after I tightened the laces more. Cute but painful on the back ankle. They have a seam right on the back of the ankle which seems to make it worse. The starburst doesn't have this seam and is more comfortable to me.

I’ve had a couple pairs of these and a couple pairs of Taos sandals. While these are some of the cutest canvas sneakers I’ve ever seen, the sole does not hold up, wears away quickly and leaves you with no grip. I wore my first pair to death but the second pair didn’t even last half a dozen Wearings. I also found the removable insole to be excessively built up to the point where my ankle would slip out of the shoe so I inserted my own orthotics. But again, the grip on the sole wears away too quickly to justify the price.

Love the look but unfortunately the 9W I ordered fit more like a 8 1/2 regular width

Beautiful shoes, really want to keep them but the sole is rock hard, so uncomfortable!

I'd heard good reviews about these shoes and wanted to like them, but they were way too small even though I'd ordered a wide. I ended up with a pair of Clarks in a similar style that are way more comfortable and now are my new favorite casual sneaker.

So, I sent these back, and the search continues for a low-profile neutral color sneaker that is truly wide in the toe. I got 8.5W, which is my usual size. As others have said, this runs short, but that's OK by me. I usually get 8.5W because I am actually an 8 in length but few women's shoes come in C-D width at the forefoot and with the narrow heel that I need. So most of my shoes slip at the heel, oh well. I have tried multiple styles of Taos over the years, because I like their designs and materials, but they never fit. I was really happy when I saw they began selling half-sizes. Alas, it seems to be the case that their shoes are bottom-line designed for people with basically standard-with feet. These Taos W sneakers may be designed for the large % of the population whose feet are neither narrow or are standard-slightly wide, but are not for those of us who have triangular feet (shoemakers, in case you are reading this: that's when the metasarsal bones are naturally splayed at an angle) and need to be on their feet, packing weight--like children, packs, earthly things--and covering serious distance in even casual footwear, as in travel. I'm still rooting for Dansko to create a supportive, attractive, low-profile cloth sneaker like this.

This was my third pair of Taos sneakers, which I like for both their style and their excellent arch support. Unfortunately, these were extremely uncomfortable; they seemed to cut across the top of my foot when I walked. So back they go.

Kept trying different things, but w/the arch support I wanted, they were just too shallow. Plus if I removed the arch support inserts, the back edge rubbed the back of my ankle. Loved the look - very disappointed
