Slightly snug, but still kept them. Super comfortable arch support. Laces are bit too short!

Really cute, canvas classic. I listened to the other reviewers and opted to order a half size larger, which provided a perfect fit.

I found the shoes to be nice to look at which is why I bought them. Charcoal gray / size 8.5 The arch support is really there but as one reviewer said down further it is way too firm to be comfortable for any long term wear. If they made the foot bed more squishy like sketchers brand I would definitely be back to try more Taos but in the meantime I'll stick with sketchers. Style is very nice though so I'll keep them and hope they get more comfortable with wear.

They were slightly small. The arch support was good, but my foot didn't fit the arch support in the right places. I'm returning them.

should have taken some of the reviewers' advice and gotten a full size bigger. I'm generally an 8 and i'm returning the 8 1/2s i ordered for a 9. i don't have a particularly wide foot but they are too tight in the width. I debated keeping them, hoping they might be ok, but i wore them around the house and they started to bug me. Love the style though. Very cute with a bit of a european look to them. Just DO NOT order your typical size in these. This is the first time i have ordered shoes and had them be a full size too small. (why did Taos do this??!?) Zappos is not to blame because they did issue a disclaimer that they run small.

Love the shoe... unfortunately, it's a little too flat for me and it just doesn't fit correctly. Size 11 is very difficult to find!

These are so cute and comfortable. Ordered half size larger as was recommended and fit was perfect. I love to keep the top eyelet unlaced so I can just slip them on. Works great this way.

I did order up 1/2 size and a perfect fit. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I will be wearing often.

I listened to the reviews and ordered ½ size up, but they are still too tight around the toe area. I think another ½ up will be too long. My feet tend to be a bit wide, but I don't wear a wide size. Blue was a very pretty color.

I bought these because I wanted a casual sneaker with good arch support, and Taos shoes have treated me well in the past. These didn't disappoint. I normally wear a size 8.5 but ordered a size 9 based on reviews. I agree that the 9 fits perfectly, though the shoe is a bit narrow. Lucky for me I have narrow feet - if you do not, this won't end well. Overall I'm pleased - it's hard to find a sneaker with arch support that isn't also ugly.

A very stylish shoe! They did run a little short for me so I had to order a half size up. I felt that they were a little bit wider in the toe area too, which was ok. My suggestion is to order two pairs, one in your regular size and then one a half size up and decide between the two.

The inside of the shoe felt great. I did order a half size bigger which fit but I found the shoe really hard to get on. I had to unlace the top two holes to get on and the shoe has a really slim fit. I really wanted it to work because the are comfortable on the inside.

Great shoe. However, I suggest ordering a full size larger. My toes rubbed end of shoe with only half size up. Am exchanging for full size up and hope it works. Arch support is there but virtually no padding in football area where I really need it.

I ordered up 1/2 size and still a bit tight with socks on. Even untied (laces under insole), hurt my instep after wearing most of the day. Heels rubbed a blister first time worn, but seems to be getting more and more comfortable in the heel. Much better arch support than Converse, for sure, but maybe still not enough for me (have a high arch). Appear to be very well made and should last for a long time.

I was a Converse devotee since I was 13 or so. The lack of cushioning and arch support for my flat feet started to cause problems when my knees and hips started going bad after years of sports. These are an excellent alternative. Based on past reviews, I ordered a half size larger than my usual 8.5, and they fit snugly, but not tight. They provide good cushion for a fashion sneaker and excellent arch support compared to other fashion sneakers I've tried. I always wear socks with sneakers, but I recommend wearing socks that provide a barrier at the back of the heel as the shoe started to rub after a couple of hours. That may change with more frequent wear.

These shoes are super cute and they have really high arch support. Actually TOO high for me, apparently I don't need that much arch support and it was really too much in my right foot.

I first tried these on at night and thought they were snug but i wasn't planning on wearing any socks with them so wasn't concerned. Wore them out to dinner and they felt really tight, tried to loosen the laces a bit but didn't help much. I have a very high arch on my feet so that is likely the problem. They don't have a size 8.5 (normally i always wear an 8) so i am going to try the 9 which i really don't think is going to be much of a problem. The shoe is adorable and the arch support is great for a canvas sneaker.... can't wait to get the 9's so we'll see. Love Zappos so much. Makes my life so much easier. Haven't shopped in an actual store for years!!

I was very excited to try this shoe. I ordered an 8 and 8.5 just to make sure I had a size that would fit, I usually wear 7.5 or 8. The 8.5 fit, but there was no wiggle room & would not be able to accommodate thick socks. The arch support was great & the insole had a lot of cushion until the soul. It was very thin and the reason I am returning the shoe. My feet started to hurt in the few minutes I had them on. Add cushion through out the insole and I would keep them.

Glad I had read some reviews before ordering; you definitely need to buy a half size larger than usual as this shoe does run short. Also, it was not as cute on my foot as in the picture (a bit wide in the toe area). I have always loved Taos, and I do like the linen color, and will keep and wear these shoes, but am not as fond of them as I thought I would be.

I read a review to buy a 1/2 size larger , and I did and the fit was fine. They are super cute, but very stiff and hard to soften up. Not the most comfortable shoe, despite what you would think.

Too wide and uncomfortable for me.
