Nice quality but not wide enough for my feet.

I like the style and the color..great with denim. But honestly, these aren't as comfortable as my Keds! I wear them, but they feel heavier than my Keds and my feet get tired in them so I don't wear them for all day walking trips. They also don't seem to have as much support as the Keds, although I'm just guessing on that. They were highly recommended, and I wanted to try them, but I'm going to stick with my Keds in the future!!!

These are comfortable to walk around in. I have high arches and always have problems wearing "flat" shoes like this. They are a bit clunkier than I expected.

Nice looking shoe, but does run very narrow and slightly smaller in length.

These are cute shoes and I really wanted them to work for me, but they don't. While the insole provides good arch support, the toe bed has virtually no cushioning. I can use them with my orthotics but there is simply not enough cushioning in the soles for me. These would be great if they could feel a bit more like an athletic shoe. Have to return.

they look cute but the fabric is very hard and is rubbing on my big toe (I have a hallux issue). It's a shame because they have a great arch support, sending them back

These fit great but I thought the Retro Stars were cuter.

If you're looking for a casual shoe with arch support these are probably what you want, just one full size larger. I needed to buy a full size larger than what I normally wear in a sneaker - I needed an 11 instead of a 10. I barely could get my foot into the 10. And I have an average to thin foot. The laces are made of a natural, unbleached cotton so they're pretty stiff laces. Combined with the canvas it makes ia little sticky when you're trying to tighten or loosen the lace. But once on the arch support is awesome, and I have fairly high arches. Because the sneaker's canvas is stiff, where your foot bends while walking feels super stiff, but it also feels like it'll soften once broken in.

I was hoping this was going to be a perfect casual shoe. The arch support was amazing I went with a wide width for more room in the toe box & I did go up the recommended half size. Sadly they were a bit heavy & an ackward fit for me. They are a very nice shoe they just didn’t work for me

Really fun shoes, not really comfortable but I’ll still wear them plenty! (Not meant for all day, IMO)

Super cute but too small. I wear an 8 normally and my toes touch the end of the shoe. Going to reorder a half size larger.

Very cute shoe with a nice insole but it definitely runs small. I usually where an 8 but I bought an 8.5 and even that barely fit. Arch support was pretty good, especially for this style, but the edges of the shoe hit my ankles in weird places so it is going back.

I wear a 9 1/2 - 10 usually and ordered the 10. Way too small! Unfortunately they don't come in a 10 1/2. Cute shoes though!

Not going to lie, I’m embarrassed at how happy these shows make me! I love the style, the color, the fit- I’ve developed Tendonitis from running and needed a walking shoe that would be cute but comfortable and these are perfect. They definitely run small- had to go order a half size bigger than usual.

These are a great dark washed turquoise /teal color! The insole has wonderful arch support and a cushiony heel. They are sporty, but aren't huge athletic sneakers.I wear size 9 and have a wide foot, so I ordered one full size up and they fit well.These size 10's look cute on and actually make my feet look smaller!

Love the look and comfort. These shoes run small. Easily by a whole size.

Finally found a cute pair of casual shoes with good arch support, but the sizing is way off. Zappos did automatically size me up half a size; however, I normally wear a 10 and these are sized in EU sizes so a 10 and a 10.5 are the same EU size. Also, this shoe too narrow for me and I normally wear a regular width. Unfortunately they need to be returned. They are really cute and have better arch support and more cushioning than similar styles I have tried so I will be trying a larger size in a wide.

So far so good! I hope they break in a bit more after wearing them (they’re a bit stiff out of the box). Cute design and definitely great arch support.

This is an attractive shoe, though not entirely comfortable right out of the box. Most people here said the shoe runs narrow, but if you have a narrow foot, it is actually a bit wide. It is true that you have to order up .5 size.

These shoes are great for walking - cute, with superb arch support. The first time I wore them, I took a big chance and walked for about 2 hours in them -- had no problem at all! The M width was just right (for me - I don't have wide feet). I am grateful to the other reviewers who suggested getting a slightly larger size. My shoe size is usually 6.5, but after reading the reviews, I decided to get size 7 and they fit perfectly. The only reason I removed 1 star is because the footbed is not very cushy -- the arch support is wonderful, but there's not much cushion in the footbed. Other than that, I should say that I was happy enough to purchase a 2nd pair in a different color.

I tried 3 Taos shoes of this type. I am keeping the Plim Soul because it fits the best. The Star and Retro Star (sueded) are identical in fit and I found the toe box to be too shallow and cramped. The Plim Soul has a slightly more rounded toe box and plenty of room for my toes. Other than that, all 3 models were fairly similar in arch support due to the very supportive and cushioned Taos insert. So Thank You to Zappos for being so patient while I tried at least 6 or 7 different casual shoes of this type! My feet are very picky and without Zappos, I'd be running around to different malls and stores for days! What a wonderful shopping experience!

These weren't as cute in person, but I bet they would have been comfortable! Had to return because they felt a tad bit too small.

These shoes are cute and have great support. My feet are a hot mess these days - I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis so I am very picky about comfort these days. I was looking for something that looked like Converse but were comfortable and supportive like Dansko or Vionic. These pretty much fit the bill, though they are a little stiff, especially at the heel. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and sometimes am more comfortable with a wide width. I ordered these in 7.5 M to start with, but exchanged for 7.5 W and they fit great. I still haven't decided if there is enough cushion in the sole for me to keep them yet. I plan to wear them around the house some more this weekend to see if these are keepers. If I do keep them, I may get a heel cushion to pad the heel area - but that is something I have to do with a lot of shoes so I won't mark these down because of that.

I loved these shoes. Super comfy. One draw back. The red bled all over the laces & the soles of the shoes without coming in contact to any water. Not the look I was going for. Zappos refunded my full amount and told me to donate them. I am going with a white pair instead. Highly recommend Taos & Zappos!
