These shoes are very comfortable. They have great arch support. They seem true to size and are fairly light.

Love the arch and lots of color options. I have white, Black and Tan. I wear a 10.5 but had to get an 11. 11 fits well so if you're a true size 11 they may feel a bit tight.

Bought these to walk in NYC. Very comfy and looks cute with outfits I would not normally wear a tennis shoe with.

I love these shoes! I wanted a cute,comfortable, lightweight shoe to wear instead of athletic shoes. These are it, I bought the blue washed canvas in a 1/2 size larger. Fit great. Look so cute...many complements! The arch support is fairly substantial but it's soft so feels great. I need a roomy deep toe box and these work, I could probably use a little more depth, but don't see me wearing a hole in the toe for a long while. Just found the Taos brand and now I have sneakers and 2 sandals. Love them!

I am a 7-7.5. I usually wear a 7 in heels and a 7.5 in boots and flat shoes or anything I plan to wear with socks. After reading all the reviews, I decided to go with an 8 in the Taos Star and they are perfect. I would say that if you are a 6.5-7, go with a 7.5. If you are a 7-7.5, then go with the 8.

Cute, super comfortable and oh-so-stylish! I had been wanting Converse type sneakers for a while...but with plantar fascitis - it was just impossible. Until I heard about these bad boys.I took a gamble and ordered them in my normal size of 7.5 and they feel fine. I keep them laced rather loosely - instead of super tight and they feel fine.

I ordered the red Taos Star shoes and they are simply adorable. I usually wear a 9 and got a 9 1/2 and they fit perfect. I was able to wear them without socks and not get blisters. I also wore them to work for 8 hours with little socks and I was fine. I usually wear orthotics in my shoes, and I was able to wear these without them. Looked adorable with a t-shirt and skinny jeans!

Love these shoes! Comfy and cute at the same time. I was looking for a casual shoe to where that wasn't an athletic shoe. I usually wear a size 7 but had to size up to 7.5 for length

These shoes are SO comfortable! I love that they look hip and stylish but have great arch support. My teenage daughter called them "old lady keds" until I bought her a pair . . . now she loves them too. She has flat feet - the arch is fabulous for her.

Awesome casual shoe. I took another reviewers advice and ordered 1/2 size up. Comfortable. Arch support is great. I'm debating whether or not to order a spare pair for when I trash these.

I love these shoes! I love having a casual option that doesn't look like I'm going to the gym. These have terrific arch support for my flat feet. Toms or Converse cause my plantars to flair if worn all day running errands whereas the Taos Star caused no pain whatsoever. I'm a solid 8 in Toms and took an 8.5 in these. Listen to the reviews and order 1/2 size up.

I love my Taos tennis shoes! I ordered & received right before going on vacation. I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking and worried I would get blisters or sore feet from not being broken in. Not with these! I agree, with needing a 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear, especially if anticipate doing quite a bit of walking. I LOVE the arch supports!! They feel great! Thank you Taos and Zappos! I am going to order another pair in different color.

I love this shoe. I have been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis for the last several months and have been looking for shoes with good arch supports. I was excited to find a shoe of this style, that also had good support. Many people had said they felt this shoe ran a 1/2 size to small. I thought it was true to size, but is a little narrow. It fits my foot just fine, but if you have a wider foot, it may be too snug. Fabulous shoe. I might even buy another color!

Love! I am normally a 7.5 and the 7.5 fit perfectly with excellent arch support. Can't wait to wear them this summer.

I LOVE these shoes. Definitely order a 1/2 size larger. Fantastic arch support, i have severely high arches and this shoe is very comfy. I will order other Taos brands if I can count on this level of arch support.

I don't order often from Zappos, so I'm always delighted with how quickly they arrive via overnight shipping! I'm glad I took the "too small" advice and ordered up. I'm a size 10 shoe and purchased an 11, which was the right choice. I bought the blue, and was a little surprised the trim and laces were cream, rather than white. They look quite good, although I understand why people find the laces very wide when viewed from the top. There's a lot of arch and heel support, as noted by others, but the ball of the foot has minimal padding, which is a bit odd. I've just been wearing them around the house today, but I do feel when they "bend" as I walk. You can see and feel the difference from the arch support to the ball support...I feel bending right at that point. I hope they will break in and I won't notice it in the days ahead. If they get more comfortable, I would buy in other colors.

I love these shoes! I had been looking for a good casual shoe with great arch support, and this one really fits the bill. I was a bit worried at first, because the arches were so high that I could actually feel them when I wasn't standing on my feet. I've never had arch support like that in a shoe, and I was concerned that I couldn't get used to it. But after wearing them around for a bit, the arches started to settle and form themselves to my feet more. I LOVE that I can wear these for most of an errand day, and my feet never get tired. The colors that are available are great, too. I highly recommend these!

These shoes are great right out of the box. I have prescription orthotics, which did fit after I removed the innersole.BUT I didn't need them.My bunions and bone spur were fine. And they are so cute--lots of compliments.

Couldn't be happier! These shoes are super cute and comfy and I love the fact that they have arch support! I do recommend ordering a half size up. I'm normally a 7 1/2 and needed an 8 which fits perfectly.

Excellent construction but a little stiff on the heels. Have to wear a band-aid to fight a blister when wearing them. Shoe runs a bit small so order half a size bigger to avoid disappointment.

I LOVE these shoes! I bought these right before a trip to Disney. First time I wore them was in the airport. I know, I know, that was a risky little game, especially since most shoes hurt my feet. (I have flat feet and I developed plantar fasciitis about 10-15 years ago and for years after that, nothing felt good on my feet but Dansko clogs). But I have been drooling over the Taos Crave boot and while I was online looking at that for the 100th time and finally deciding to take the plunge, I decided to buy these too. So, after the long walk through the airport, we immediately hit the park and walked ALL DAY long. And...amazingly, NO blisters and NO pain! I LOVE these shoes! I bought the black and after a week being worn every day at Disney, they still look new. They do run small. After seeing this comment on other reviews, I sized up and not only did the size 9 work perfectly (normally I'm a 8.5), but somehow they made my big feet actually LOOK SMALL! Amazing trick! (Did I mention I LOVE these shoes?) Really, I am not a shoe fanatic, but when the vast majority of shoes I buy hurt my feet, I do get a little over excited...

Very cute! Couldn't be happier with them. Wanted white ones abs I think I week be ordering one of the other colors. Feel true to size but when I tried them out of the box I thought they were going to be small. Another review had mentioned this too but when I loosened up the laces they were perfect. Wore them for several hours on first day, no rubs or blisters anywhere. Felt great right out of the box.
