I have problem, awful , painful feet, and these are great shoes. They're comfortable and look better than tennis shoes by far. The shoes are flat and I can't wear anything above an inch. They're casual, but also can look dressier and feminine. I bought a pair in the carmel color last year and was sorry I didn't get the black too. Now I have black. I wish they even came in white.

They fit perfectly and are comfortable, but there is a little rubbing in the instep where they material ends. I think this will loosen as I wear them more. I liked these so much I bought a second pair in case I ruin these and I bought a lighter color from DSW since Zappos did not have my size.

Fabulous. Mom has problem feet with bunions/hammertoes, and these fit. It's hard to find attractive shoes in double wide. These are a step above the usual offerings. And the were ON SALE! A real find!

Honestly, I didn't think that I would like these shoes but I gave them a try since I needed comfy, navy shoes for an event. At 65, my feet are no longer sandal "friendly" if you know what I mean. The David Tate Nelly is comfortable yet stylish to wear with slacks or skirts during warmer months. I will most likely be purchasing another pair since they offer what other shoes don't - a sandal look with coverage for "old feet" with great style.

These shoes (turquoise) fit beautifully and feel great. I have really wide feet, and, if anything, they were roomier than usual. I also bought the taupe-y color, and loved that as well, but went with the turquoise.

Cute shoe but a little too matronly for what I wanted to wear it with. I was looking for something with a lower heel as I am having some foot issues. These run true to size, even accommodated my wider feet but just didn't suit my style.

I like these! I’m back to see other colors. I’d like a tad more arch support but for now they seem fine. I need upscale comfy shoes for my job as a real estate broker, and heels just don’t work for me anymore. These fit what I’m looking for!

I have very wide feet. I ordered a 10WW and they fit great. I usually have good luck with David Tate shoes and sandals. Although the sole is navy in this picture, it was not on the main website. It was tan and woven like an espadrille. The woven part was navy when the shoes arrived. That is fine with me. The fit makes up for the difference.

Perfect fit for my 6.5W feet with a bunion and a developing hammertoe (room in the toe box without looking bulky). It's a comfortable and stylish alternative to open-toed sandals and can be worn with skirts, slacks or jeans. Wish it was slightly higher in the heel, but that's just me.

Loved the look of these shoes, would be considered dressy for me since I can't wear heels. The width across the toe bed was perfect for me since I wear wide shoes, not much arch support. The back strap is too wide and the side elastic straps would work better if they were a bit tighter and not so loose, I think it would help pull the back strap tighter. I found they were comfortable walking around the house on the carpet. Sorry I have to return them because because they are to loose in the back and because of the reviews saying they started falling apart after just wearing them a few times.

Love the look of the shoe and the shoes seem well made but I am returning them because even though I wear a wide size these were too wide for me. Very cute shoe though.

These were one of two pairs of David Tate shoes that I have ever bought. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, I highly recommend them. The length, width and foot pad are just as described and true to size. They are really nice looking also, I received several compliments on them the first time I wore them!

I was looking for a shoe following foot surgery, and this one fit the bill. The sole is relatively stiff, which is important for the fused joint in my great toe. Lots of room in the toe box -- I ordered a wide to accommodate the swelling, so will need to put a gel insert in as the swelling goes down. Comfortable and surprisingly stylish -- actually makes my size 11 look a little smaller. The tan pretty much goes with everything.

I initially ordered an 8M as previous reviewers said it was a wide shoe. I ended up returning them and getting a wide. So I guess it depends on how square your feet are. I was wearing EE baby shoes so maybe I'm just special. I think that they are adorable. I have received a lot of complements on them. They are a fairly flat shoe so I was not expecting a lot (or any really) of support. They have a nice squishy footbed though. I have walked a couple miles in them and they were comfortable. I've only worn them a couple of times so I can't speak to their durability yet.

I'm usually an 8.5 wide. According to the reviews I went with an 8 M. I did send it back for a wide. The 8 was spot on. It's really cute, no support, but it's a flat sandal. I found it to be very comfortable and dressy.

These are really cute on. They are very casual and comfy. I felt they were wider than normal...I was able to fit my wide foot into the medium width.

I have had over40 surgeries on my feet and ankles resulting in seriously deformed and partially amputated toes, as well an increase in the width of my feet. I had despaired over finding an attractive summer sandal I could wear both casually and a for a little more dressy. times These are perfect. They are comfortable, the toe area covers my toes and is well rounded so my toes aren't cramped. There is also adequate padding. I have no sensation on the bottom of my feet, so I need something with a heel, which this provides, but the bare area between heel and toe cover provides for a little sexiness and the elastic holds the shoe on tightly. Runs true to size and width. I've always liked David Tate and that is one brand that has almost always carried a selection of extra wide shoes.

I ordered two pair - one in tan, one in black. They're the same size but the tan ones feel shorter and more cramped so I'll be returning them. Didn't realize this until summer weather arrived and I took them out of the box.

This is a very comfortable shoe and the fit is very true to size the color Turquoise is beautiful and the espadrilles style is as always very comfortable for someone that can't were as many high heels anymore due to knee issues. These are perfect for work. Wish they came in many other colors. Thanks

Very nice shoe, hoping the suede will clean nicely. I'm ordering one size down, but it was probably a bit big because I ordered WW.

David Tate is one of my go-to shoe maker. I usually wear a 71/2 ww, for years this has been my size in these shoes. This time it was much too large, perhaps a full size. I am returning, but am going to try another size. The shoe is beautiful and I had been looked for a closed toe sandal.

I love these sandals. The wide width (WW) is terrific. They are so comfortable and look great on my feet.
