Very nice and comfortable shoe. The Blue Leather is very expensive looking. Would like other colors like "cognac"" or maybe a rich dark brown leather. Love the rubber soles.

wore J & M shoes for may years in the 60's and early 70's and always highly satisfied with the entire process. Got away from them in mid 80's as the soft sneaker type shoe became more accepted and also more comfortable. Recently I wanted to go back to a more conventional and dressier shoe. I ordered a pair from J & M only to find total satisfaction and the same high quality as I remember meaning to me that over the years the business model has remained the same and not deteriorated as so many have with outsourcing the product

I simply love the shoe's comfort. I work in a hospital, walking miles a day. I have struggled to find a shoe that combines comfort, support and style. This shoe does it all. I've been slowly replacing all of my shoes with those from J&M. They are worth the cost.

I had been looking for a shoe that's somewhere between dress shoes and tennis shoes for a while. Something not flashy but nice enough to wear to work and more comfortable and dressed down than typical dress shoes. This ended up being the shoe for me. I sized up half a size and am happy I did. The leather was a little rigid at first but had gotten softer and more mailable as these sorts of shoes do over time. I really like the off white sole so I don't have to worry about keeping the shoe perfectly white. Big fan of the shoes overall, I would highly recommend it.

Love the look ! Great with jeans when I don't want a dress shoe.

This is my second pair of these shoes but still have my first pair (different color) that I bought a few years ago. The great thing is that quality of these shoes hasn't changed as they are durable yet comfortable.

Bought this pair for work, keeping the professional look without having to go to traditional leather. It's working out perfectly for all types of pants from Suits to jeans.

The first pair was too small so I ordered a pair 1/2 size larger, which was too large. I ordered a 2nd pair in the original size and they fit as expected. Unfortunate hassle but customer service was great as always. Comfortable shoe with fun style and color.

I've only worn these for 2 days so far, but they're comfortable right off the bat and I can tell it won't be much longer until they're broken in. They look good and I got a compliment on them from a coworker in the office the first time I wore them.

Takes some time to break in. Last pair wore out in 3 months. Sole cracked. Hoping this pair is better.

The McGuffey plain toe shoes are exactly as pictured and described. Fit was perfect and the shoes are very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add care and maintenance for this type of shoenew to me.
