Have worn Johnston and Murphy dress shoes for 20+ years but purchased these about 4 years ago and they've become my preferred shoe for daily office wear. On the days when I still wear traditional dress shoes, my feet tell me they'd rather be in the McGuffeys. Purchased a second pair for variety. Am frequently asked about them. Exceptionally comfortable. High quality. Work well with dress slacks, chinos or jeans. J&M sells an easy to apply "Oil Tanned Leather Restorer" which returns the finish of an upper showing some wear to a nearly new look. Recommend these without reservation.

Ordered them on-line, but they fit and felt great. No break-in was required, one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned. Nice style as well.

These shoes are very comfortable and look great with jeans or casual pants, could be worn for work if appropriate. Great shoes!

I had a Cartiva implant on the big toe joint on my right foot this year. I've gone through many brands of shoes only to experience discomfort. These J&M McGuffeys Wides feel great..so happy. Thanks J&M!

My wife gave me these shoes as a gift and I have been wearing them every weekend with jeans since. I have a wide foot and normally get a 11 2E in New Balance athletic shoes. In this shoe I needed a 10.5 wide and is very roomy in the toe box. My only recommendation for improvement is to make the gum sole a little more cushiony. I guess inserts may help with this.
