I needed a walking shoe for a trip to London. Unfortunately, it was a little wide in the heel (my heel slipped each time I took a step) and a little tight otherwise. I really wanted these to fit as they look nice and are lightweight. I had to return them.

These were not what I would consider wide width. Were normal width- too narrow. Returning.

Based on the Zappos comments I tried two different sizes and widths. The best fit was my usual Clarks size. I don't think they run "short". The toe box was very roomy, which I like, but I was slipping out of the heel. Too bad because they are a nice looking shoe. The inner sole had some support, but not enough for me. The insert is removable and insert your own orthotic instead.

I could not get my foot all the way into this size 8 - my usual size - even though the W was clearly wide enough. But I like the shoe and will try an 8 1/2 or 9. Can't really give stars until it fits!

Oh, rats! I forgot the English don't understand wide shoes. These would have been great, but all the width is in the heel (they fall off) and none is through the toe bed (they feel like a narrow)

These are hard and uncomfortable.

Homely little shoe. Like my feet were stuck in a loaf of bread each.

A great disappointment. Cute, but absolutely no support.

Ordered 8.5W but these are definitely not wide. The length is ok but I would probably not be comfortable wearing socks. The sole looked more substantial in the photos than in real life. The cut of the shoe and the thin-ish sole makes this shoe look a bit too old-lady ish for me (and I'm in my late 50s). Sending them back.

I wear a size 9 with a medium width in all the comfort brands, including Clarks. This style ran small as I could not wear the size 9 in either color, I ordered both the brown and the black. They are very high and the material very thin, you feel like you are wearing a slipper, I prefer more support from a shoe. The sole is very soft and comfy.

These shoes have a comfy insole, and aren't bad looking for a lace up black shoe. However, I need to return them, as the heel seems to be disproportionately wide for a B width shoe. They practically fall off my fairly narrow feet.

Very strange fit, very wide (gaps)at the top of the shoe and lacing the shoe tighter did not help. Shoe was cut in an awkward manner.

Very comfortable shoe I just ordered a 1/2 size too big. I wear a brace on my right foot and I have to order at least 1/2 size bigger so the foot with the brace fits. This leaves the the healthy foot with a shoe that is too big. This shoe is fabric and it was too big even with extra insoles so I am returning it. I have a purple pair that fit very well.
