What were they thinking to make a sandal with such a slippery sole? That is why I downgraded the Clarks Lexi Marigold Q sandals to two stars. The red color is pretty and they seem well-made. This is the first pair of Clarks sandals I have ever bought, but these are going back. Instead, I am keeping the Cobb Hill RevSoothe sandals, which have three Velcro straps and non-slip soles.

Like some other more recent Clarks purchases, this one was too loose on the top of the foot. The Hayla Pier fits perfectly, and the Lexi from a few years ago is great, but this one is like the Hayla Flute, comes up farther on the foot. The part at the top near the ankle is a full ½" away from my foot and gives too much wiggle room that cannot be cinched up with the strap. Unfortunately, I have already twisted my ankle in the Hayla Flute, so these are also going back.

I usually wear a size (11w) in Clarks shoes and others. The Clarks Lexi Marigold Q were too huge. I slipped out of the sandal. Returning.

I was disappointed and had to return them because the material lining hurt my feet toward the front of the shoes. Since it was kind of rigid it would not "give" with wear like leather would have and this is why I decided to return them. This is the first time this happens to me with Clarks shoes, usually they are well made and comfortable.

The fit is terrific Extremely comfortable This is my 4th pairs of Marigolds I will keep buying them as long as they are available

this shoe fits perfectly In fact this is my 4th pair Have never had a more comfortable shoe I would order them again Arrived on time and wore them the next day

initially the fit was just a little snug like new shoes feel but within 2 months they are sloppy and extremely out of shape to walk well in I love the style but the ONLY candle in this style that did not stretch out is the TAN patent leather-shiney surface. FYI:: I DID order this shoe in a W not WW as the tan shoes are. my reasoning in case these ended up being like the navy shoe--snake skin- that also was HUGE in width within a month of wear.??? So to whom it concerns PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE IN CHARGE OF GETTING THIS INFO TO THE CORRECT SOURCE PLEASE CALL ME OR SEND ME A MESSAGE ON MY EMAIL ACCOUNT . WE do separately NEED wide and double wide CUTE sandals so please find a way to make them last at least 5 months.... a season of wearing: I wear on a rotating basis so at least ONCE a WEEK!!!.

I have 10 pairs of these sandals in different colors..This pair was huge, felt like I was wearing a ski.

Clarks Lexi Marigold was too large. I the only reason I did not exchange for a smaller size is that the leather is very thin and cheap looking. I did not think they would wear very well. Wish they would make that style of better leather and charge more.

This shoe is not for the thick wide foot. Thank God for Zappos' return service!

The shoes were too large for me. I was disappointed in the quality. The leather was thin and cheap looking. Wish they would make shoes of better quality leather and charge more. If they were of better quality I would have orderd a size smaller.

Too cute!! But, too narrow, too short. Too bad.

I loved this shoe but for my 8 1/2 W it appeared to be double wide. I ordered it twice, thinking the first order was marked wrong but had to return the second pair for the same reason. If you have wide feet this is a very fashionable and comfortable show, but I caution you must be a much wider than the normal wide for me. I purchased a different Clark and am very happy with a different shoe.

I love this shoe and this is my second order to return because I wear a Clarks 8 1/2 W-D and both pairs came marked correctly but inside the show there is an E. I am not sure is that is correct because the shoe is offered in extra wide and wonder if both pairs were stocked incorrectly. I won't order it again.

Honestly- they looked good "in the picture" but ... they looked cheesy in the box. They were long and looked awful. Have to send them back.

I used to buy Clark's shoes quite a bit, but no more. This is the second pair I've bought that are still way too wide even thought they're marked as N. Feet slide forward to the point where the toes are hanging off the edge of the shoes. Not sure I would have kept them even if they did fit because the patent leather makes them look awfully grandma-ish. Very happy with Zappos' service, though, as usual!

I have a similar shoe from several years ago. This looked like it would fit the bill for my narrow feet and very narrow heels. The construction of this sandal was the same except for the heel strap. On my previous pair, the strap was constructed so my foot did not slip forward. In order for this to be snug enough, my toes were too far forward, and their was too much space behind my heel. So disappointed. I've worn my others out. Can't find anything that fits! Grrr.
