These shoes are super comfortable and very cushy. They run A tiny bit small. Not enough for me to return them. The first time I put them on I wore them for at least 12 hours.

I have a lot of issues with my feet - the latest being plantar fasciitis. I needed to find a pair of sneakers with a neutral heel (not the kind like brooks that lean to the right) and cushioning! I've tried over 20 pairs of sneakers - yep 20 - and most were just not working for me. The best up to this point were the Hoka Constant, which has a lot of support and cushioning. But I couldn't wear my orthotic with it. However, I think I've finally found a good shoe in the NB 1080! It's cushioned, supportive, and will accommodate my orthotic without it being too much on the arch. My only 'nits' - I wish they had the tongue strap for the laces so that the tongue doesn't move. It keeps shifting to the side..very annoying. I also wish the toe box was just a bit deeper so my toes didn't hit the top of the shoe. It's not a deal breaker, just a bit annoying. I usually take a narrow, but found the medium width to be perfect so I'd have the wider toe box. Ankle still feels secure. Really liking these shoes! PLUS - they are fun looking!!

I usually wear a 7, got this in 7 1/2, glad I did. I put an insert in them bc I wasn't real happy with the factory one. They're ok, not my all time favorite but I'm wearing them. I don't run as much as I stand so I don't know how they would perform as a running shoe. The toe area is just a bit tight, wish it were higher.

I purchased the blue/gray pair and they are cute! But they are way too small. New Balance doesn't make these in half sizes from 11 on up, so I tried a 12. I knew it wouldn't fit...the toe box was bigger and felt fine, but it slipped up and down on my heel, even with running the shoe laces through the second loop. Very disappointed! Loved the color and they seemed comfortable.

As much as I loved these shoes; they are super comfy, wide toe box, superb cushion; I couldn't find a size that had no heel slip. My feet must be weird. I usually wear a 10W in brooks and NB; the 10W was much too large, so I downsized to a 9W which was too small; reordered in a 9.5W and fit is better but still has a heel slip. So disappointed because these shoes were awesome in every other way!

I read the review saying it was too big so I ordered my regular size and they are too short. So diregard those reviews. The shoe is cute. Haven't really worn them yet to see if they are really comfortable. Must exchange them.

I bought these for tough gym workouts - bootcamps, insanity. I thought they ran smaller and didn't have the usual NB room in the toebox. I bought my usual size - 8.5, wore my usual thorlo socks, they were ok - just tight and a very different feel. Not a lot of bend in the bottom of the shoe, which is OK. AND - apart from all that, they are really supportive and if jumping is a bother - these are great for that purpose - like landing on air. The real issue for me is the toebox and the small size. I might go up to a 9, but then again, may just look for another pair.

I just returned these sneakers (blue/pink in 8½D - Wide). They seem like sturdy and supportive sneakers but I have wide feet and bunions, which is why I buy only New Balance sneakers. The hard plastic on the sides by the laces pulls the fabric tight and makes it feel tight and uncomfortable on my feet - a big no-no for me! I ended up getting the New Balance Vazee Prism (in the same size - 8½D - Wide) and it is a fantastic fit. I am so happy that the return policy is so easy.

I wanted to love these, but the moment I put them on, my big toe (and my toenails are not long!) showed right through the mesh. And the mesh itself has a kind of cheesecloth cheapness to it; I realize that it is for breathability, but it does not promise to last long. I am sorry but I will be returning them. I really like the blue-grey color combination but I cannot be swayed by that!

Shoe is not particularly comfortable. Once I added additional padded insoles, the soles didn't feel as hard. I've purchased other New Balance shoes that felt better on my feet.

I was thrilled at the width, which is normally where I have a problem with fit. Unfortunately, they were not nearly deep enough for my orthotics. These are great looking shoes so I am really disappointed.

I had to return these. They were cute but they did not fit properly. I ordered wide as opposed to extra wide due to others reviews of an extra wide toe box. I found the tie box to be too narrow. The length was as expected. But the heel was loose as many have mentioned. Felt like they would have been comfortably cushioned for running had they fit correctly elsewhere.

I have plantar fasciitis and have been searching for a shoe that has good support since my Nikes are lacking in that area. I received these shoes on Monday and my feet have gotten worse. I have only worn these shoes around the house. I did order narrows so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. While these are comfortable, I felt like my heel was sinking down and that my foot was slanted up a little. I just experienced a really sharp pain along my outer metatarsal that freaked me out so these are definitely going back. :(

I have the older Fresh Foam pair from NB. The label inside says W980 on the old ones but can't find them so I tried these. I love the old ones. These are not them. These a full size larger and wider. Even my 10 year old son told me my feet looked huge when I put them on. Can't comment on comfort, as I only wore them for 5 minutes but sizing is off.
