These shoes feel great. I am very happy with them. I ran 10 miles the first day I ran in them and no problems.

I love these shoes! I have wide feet (double E) and New Balance never disappoints. My toes are comfy and not squished at all. Comfortable right out of the box. I wear these shoes every day.

Be prepared. Very comfortable but the color is not pink. It is Blaze Orange. If the color is up your alley, they are great. I am exchanging them for a different color.

Super comfortable and full of cushy support! The toe area is wider than I thought but it makes for a comfortable fit. Great colors too!

These are the best sneakers I've worn in a very long time. I'm getting over a right foot stress fracture and have to wear sneakers. These are well cushioned and true to size. I wear a narrow and these work well.

I LOVE these shoes & Zappos. I've been fighting through plantar's fasciitis & these have the right amount of cushion & support and are wide enough to fit my orthodics/inserts. Local running stores couldn't get the wides- even from New Balance. But Zappos had them & I had them a day later. Kudos!

Love these shoes! Very comfortable, nice arch support and sizing is true to size. Also great colors!

I have been wearing the New Balance 1080's since v2. Although the fit is a bit different due to the foam sole, overall it fits similarly to the v5 shoe and was fairly quick to break in. Not quite as snug around the foot, but a simple lacing adjustment was able to remedy. Overall - very happy with the shoe and the amount of cushion it provides.

I walk 12 miles per day. I have been having foot pain that radiates up to my knee for months. I have been wearing the Fresh Foam 1080 for 2 days and the pain is nearly gone. The arch support and wider toe box is perfect for me. The cushioning is excellent. Very comfortable right out of the box. I just ordered a second pair.

I really love these shoes. They are comfy, light weight without being flimsy, and very breathable. I usually wear an 8.5W but had to go up to a 9w on these. I really like the ample room in the toe box.

Great, attractive shoe that's actually made for wide feet. Love New Balance. Equivalent to the 1340 V2 which is my other running shoe.

I originally ordered these in a 6.5 medium. I have bunions and normally wear Brooks Ghost in that size. Unfortunately they were too narrow, thus I exchanged them for a 6D (wide width) and I love them! So comfortable! Wear them to walk and job in.

Love these shoes. Extremely comfortable, soft on my feet. Arch is just right for me. True to size. I wear an 11, the 43 fits perfect. I love the colors too.

I have used various New Balance shoes over the years. I tried this one for the light weight and wanted extra support even though I will be mainly walking in them. First day I put them on my feet, they felt very comfortable and was able to wear them around the house all day. I ordered an 8.5 wide. The toe box was wider than I usually find in a pair. I was surprised they fit without being too big. I also laced the last hole to prevent my heel from slipping while I moved about in my routine.

Over the years I have owned 10-15 pairs of New Balance. I have always worn a size 9 in them. These were much bigger than my usual size 9 New Balance sneakers. I am exchanging them for a half size down though because I love my NB and I think these will be excellent sneakers.

Very comfortable out of the box. Which is rare for me. The heel is loose, so I put in a gel heel pad, and that helped tighten it up. My orthotics didn't seem to work in these where they do work in my other New Balance tennis shoes. Felt tighter/Narrow thru the foot, but loose on heel. But over all they felt good and I like them a lot. They will be great for summer with the mesh , keeping foot cool. I wear size 8 and the 8's worked good. I had problems with NB 8's being way to short in the past and even some 8 1/2's being to short. I give these 5 stars cause finding a good fitting tennis shoes right out of the box has been difficult for me in the past.

I recently had Achilles' tendon surgery and had tried several different brands of shoes. After reading the reviews for this shoe, I decided to try them. Glad I did high arch support, memory type foam insole and comfortable. My heel had not given me problems so far. Plus I have had lots of compliments on the color. Would definitely recommend these and buy again in the future.

Really comfortable shoes. Nice amount of room in the toe box and great cushioning. A choice of colors would have been nice. Also, wish that they were made in the USA. I normally buy a 1/2 size larger running shoe than my regular shoes but didn't need to with these because of the roomy toe box. Would recommend and buy again.

This shoe is a little too firm inside. My feet are tender. The shoe would work for a normal person. Where else could you try on shoes at your on home? Zappos, you are the greatest

The shoe s pretty but it hurts my feet. I usually wear a 9-wide and that is what I purchased, but they do not allow me to use my arch supports/orthotics. The tongue of the shoe is sewn to the side where the lace grommets are located. So, because of this it is not possible to lift to the tongue up to insert your foot easily. Once you put the orthotics and insole inside, and a very thin sock on your foot, the instep is not wide enough, is very tight and creates arch pain. So disappointed! I love New Balance and don't understand why they would stitch the sides of the tongue to the shoe!!!

I've been searching high and low for a sneaker with a wide toe box and high arch support. The arch support is so good in these that I almost don't need my orthotic. The only drawback is the lacing area is a bit tight and uncomfortable over the top of my foot but loosening the laces helps somewhat.

I don't think these are particularly fashionable, but I do think they're comfortable. They've got a wide, sturdy base, and the laces adjust as my foot moves as I walk. I'm able to walk long distances without any problems. They're also pretty easy to jog in, even as a heavy person. I've noticed that some of the fabric where the ankle is has already shown signs of wear. I don't think it's a real problem for the overall structure of the shoe, but it's not ideal.

When NB discontinued the style I had worn for years I was sorely disappointed. I have bought several new styles and brands to try, but always returned them. I recently tried the Fresh Foam 1080 and I believe it's going to work for me. I LOVE the color, although it does describe it as blue/white, it is purple. The soul gives me cushion on the balls of my feet and the arch support is sufficient for my plantar fascitis issues. I'm on my feet all day in a hospital so these are really comfortable. I'm planning on ordering an additional color just for variety. I would recommend this model and with Zappos return policy, if it doesnt work for you then return it. They are worth a try.

Great looking shoes. Not enough support for my needs.

This shoe is fine in terms of length and width and comfort. Actually, it did not feel more padded than the 1540 I usually wear. Felt less padded actually but wearable. Not a huge fan of this one but it is fine.
