Cute and comfortable sandals but when you step down the sole padding presses down with your weight causing air to blow out of the sole. Unless you want to sound like a deflating balloon every time you take a step, I'd pass on these.

Very comfortable! I have a wide foot and these fit very well. Because of the platform you get the height of a heel without the discomfort. They run slightly bigger than usual size so if you waver between sizes, go with the smaller size. Super cute burnt orange color to add a pop to your outfit!

These shoes are adorable, but SO LOUD. These have a nice slight height, and cushioning in the base, but every step the shoe sounds like it's breathing heavy. On the down-step and the up-step. Would drive me batty. Also found the straps strange - too tight in some places and way loose in others. The inside arch strap was really digging in, while the top was kind of flopping around.

These are my absolute favorite! They are so comfortable. I can wear them 9 hours and work and they do not bother me at all. Definitely a must have!

Like the sandals and they have a very soft and thick padded insole. They make lots off loud air expelling puff noise when walking them. Love them, they look so nice on the foot. They feel so comfy and soft on the foot, so i wear them all day long at work and home. The loud puff noise is no problem for me.

Sandals are very nice, they also make loud puffing noise when walking. I like these sandals very much, so that puffing is no problem.

The shoe makes a little "whoosh" air noise when you walk. Too annoying.

These shoes are so comfortable and go with everything from jeans to dresses. I had try a similar style to these and had the air squish sound problem but these do it much less and it's barely noticeable. I love these shoes and have already gotten several compliments.

Great looking and surprisingly comfortable for such a high heel. I love them. The color is not as red as it looks in the picture, a bit more orange-red, but still looks great. Others said they heard a noise when stepping down, I did not notice that. I like them so much I got second pair in another color. I would love to get one in every color!

Excellent shoe. I can always count on born shoes/boots for style and comfort. It looks like a high heel, but the platform makes it super comfortable. My feet are a little wide and I never have a problem with Born shoes being too tight especially around the toe area. They are also lighweight and have a nice cushion. Can wear these with absolutely anything.

Awesome shoe! So comfortable - it feels like I'm walking on pillows on air. Very versatile style that can be worn with jeans or dressed up.

These shoes are fantastic! They look great and are so comfortable. I love Zappos - they have a huge selection for both adults and kids and their shipping is amazingly fast.

Very cute! Perfect with jeans or shorts. Extremely comfortable, just like all Born shoes. But they do run wide (which I love, since my feet are wide with bunions). My foot does not slide forward at all, so I guess if your foot is wide enough these will fit perfectly. They are supportive & cushioned, and because of the platform, you don't feel like you are wearing a heel at all. As some others noted, the bottoms are somewhat slippery, but scuffing them up should take care of that. The straps are super soft & do not put any pressure on your toes or foot/ankle. The only drawback is the noise they make when you walk...but I'm going to wear them around the house for a bit and I'm betting that the noise dissipates after awhile. It's not something I would return them for, since their cuteness & comfort factor are excellent.

I loved this shoe! The leather is super soft but unfortunately I had to return as it is too wide in the toes. I put it on and my foot slid right over the edge...very disappointing!

I work in retail and am on my feet over 8 hours during a work day. Before I discovered Born, I was miserable, my feet hurt and actually felt like a burning sensation on the bottoms of my feet. I order at least one pair yearly from Born. It's like they have a mold of my foot and make the shoe specifically for me. The fit is always perfect, the comfort is like little pillows all day on my feet. I love the Tomar, it is cute and comfy. Thank You Born!!

These shoes are the best. I have a wide foot and they work great. It's like walking on air. Only drawback is the noise the shoes make when you walk...the air in the shoe I guess. But that's a great trade off for the comfort.

Just like the other reviewers said, the way the straps are makes them so wide and sloppy you can't hardly wear them. Your foot slides all the way to the tip, and your toes go over the edge. I have two other pairs of Born sandals, and I love the leather and the quality of them all...but these have to go back. I am very bummed because I love the light brown leather, and the wood looking heel. But of course as usual, it will be a super easy exchange, and I will find something I like!

Shoes are very comfortable and cute. My only complaint is that when I walk they make a noise, almost like a swish noise like air is coming out of the cushion under my feet. Hoping this goes away after I've worn them a few more times!

These are the Most comfortable shoes! Very light weight and cushiony. The strapping feels like soft leather. There is plenty of room to wiggle my toes around. My only complaint is when I step down, the cushiony sole makes a small air escaping noise. It's not like a whoopy cusion or anything but it is somewhat noticeable when I walk. The comfort and style of this shoe is worth a wee bit of sound when walking though.

These shoes are super-cute. They are quite flattering to my 50 year old feet, and the lift they give (a couple inches) without any discomfort is great. As others have said, the color is not a deep red, more a coraly lighter red, but still very versatile. I bought them to wear with a dress with a bright red cardigan, and it all looks good together. I have no issues with squeaking or air noises that others have mentioned. But the instep seems a little narrow to me - my feet are pretty narrow in the middle and I have a high instep, and still the stitching along the inner footbed is right where my foot presses down. They are a bit uncomfortable, so I would not try to wear these shoes all day. Maybe they will break in. But for a party or something, they will be fine.

I love these shoes. They are classic Born quality. The fit is good. I usually wear a 6.5 but got the 6 since they don't come in half sizes. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, they do make a little airy noise when you walk. So if that is something that bothers you, you may not want to consider them.

Super cute shoes, but they run a little large overall, but especially in the straps. I returned the first pair then reordered with a size down, and they fit perfectly. Comfortable shoes for strappy heels-- only downside is that the bottoms are slippery.

These WOULD HAVE BEEN the most perfect sandal for me! Everything is perfect; quality, materials, fit. EXCEPT for that CRAZY SWOOSHING AIR sound the cushion on top makes, not only when you step down, but when you step up, so you get DOUBLE the noise. One pair made more noise than the other. Maybe you'll get lucky, but I had to send both back. I don't want my shoes to announce my arrival before I even get there. :(

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are cute, but the leather straps are cut rough and it looks cheap. Also the foot bed near the toes is weirdly narrow and my big toe and pinkie toe hung off the edge. I ended up purchasing a pair of Dansko 'Julie' in red and love them.
