Cute shoe and very comfortable but only comes in whole sizes. My usual size nine was just a teeny bit too short -my toes hung off the end. And I know a size 10 will be huge, so they have to go back.

I was really looking forward to a new pair of Born shoes to replace the others I have that I wear non-stop. However, the heel looks cheap and I can't handle the noise that the shoe makes every time you take a step. Super comfortable, but noise is distracting. Another issue with Born shoes is that the ankle straps are never tight enough and as the shoe stretches, I lose support and they look messy because they don't tighten enough. I've had additional holes added in the past, but if you have small ankles, you'll swim in Born shoes.

The out sole is plastic like and cheap looking and the sole is slippery. Truly disappointed because I love my other Born shoes/boots. The foot bed is very cushioned and comfortable though.

I wanted to love these because I have other Born shoes with this exact heel bed. I put them on and wore them around the house for about 10 minutes and had to send them back. They are very loose and the foot slips forward yet with little to no support -- so the toes hang off the front. I have semi-wide feet and with a slight bunion and these shoes were pretty on, though.

Shoes are comfortable and cute. However, every time I take a step they make a "air whoosh" noise which is very annoying. It is loud and annoying enough that I rarely wear them hence the overall 2 stars.

While I love the look and feel of these sandals, I was disappointed with the fit. I have big feet and ordered the 11. They were correct in that my foot fit the foorbed fairly well (a tad big) but the heel strap was too loose. I had it on the tightest hole and there was still a lot of playroom and I had to consider that the leather might stretch a bit as well. Ideally, a 10.5 would have been a better fit, but they don't offer that size, which is so frustrating. Unfortunately, I'll be sending these back and looking for another sandal.

These were purchased as a trade for another pair of Born shoes that had run narrow and had hurt my feet while on a trip to NYC. These were a much better fit for my slightly wide feet and very comfortable given the heel height. Another reviewer commented that the faux wood base appeared cheap - it didn't bother me. However, after two days of considerable wear on NY streets, the veneer is chipped / peeling here and there and it appears that any small chip quickly enlarges. As much as I like these, they may be heading back to Zappo's.
