True love straight out of the box. Leather straps are supple, generous without looseness, and considerate of the toes. The footbed is literally pillowy - feels great on bare feet even when sweaty. The only complaint is the quiet poof poof sound these sandals make when I'm walking. They might be complaining about my weight, but I wish they'd keep it to themselves.

Oh, I love these shoes! I had a pair of Dansko platform wedges I wore for years, and they finally wore out. I struggled to find something to replace them that would work with my arthritic feet and knees, but would still look stylish and give me a little extra height. These were super comfortable right out of the box, look great, and do give me enough of a height boost to make me look a little more elegant. I walked up and down a hilly campus the first day I wore them, with no problems. Yay! Just bought another pair of Borns because I liked these so much.

Every now and then you hit the jackpot of shoes: comfortable, stylish and affordable and with this shoe I struck GOLD! I have moderately wide feet and a high arch, meaning any type of peep-toe usually means squished toes or the balls of my feet hanging over the edges. After having a failed attempt with a pair of Sam Edelmen wedges and Kork-Ease, I realized I should probably do a little more research and find a shoe specific to wide feet ladies. When I saw a review stating the shoe was too wide for a narrow-footed customer, I knew this shoe was meant for me. High arched and wide footed women of the world: this is your shoe. I've never experienced that moment of slipping on a wedge effortlessly (I didn't even know that was possible) and today that happened. I do feel this shoe should be marked as a "W (C)" in width as I find "M (B)" to be deceiving and would have assumed the shoe to be more narrow. I've made my Mom and sister try the shoes on because I can't believe how comfortable they are. I bought these because I was looking for a casual, versatile shoe to wear from work to happy hour and I'm already considering buying a second pair for once I wear these out. Love love love them and will probably spend the rest of the summer convincing all my wide-footed friends to buy them!!

These are by far the most comfortable heels I have worn. There is plenty of cushion and has great arch support. I love my Born Boots and was hoping I would love my Born heels just as much, and I can say that I do. Because there is a platform they don't feel as if the heel is a high as it is. They are very stable to walk in. There is elastic in the back strap so you don't have to unbuckle it to slide them on. I love that feature. The leather is very soft and high quality. I love them so much I'm going to order a second pair in brown. Also, Zappos got them to be very quickly, a day earlier than they promised.

Recently had surgery on my big toe joint and still a little swollen - the construction of this shoe "wraps around" by foot, and the cushion of the footbed and the arch support are also wonderful. I love platforms like this because you get height without putting too much pressure on the toe joints!

I loved this shoe! The leather is super soft but unfortunately I had to return as it is too wide in the toes. I put it on and my foot slid right over the edge....very disappointing!

Like a cloud as soon as I tried them on. I've been looking for a replacement for a Born sandal I've had for years and this is it! My only complaint is the whooshing sound the shoe makes when I walk. But it is so comfortable I am going to ignore it and I'm going to buy a second pair in black.

I really loved this shoe--it is super comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately though the air cushion along the sole makes a sound every time you step.

Feel good and look good too! Plagued with high arches these shoes are great, excellent support and don't look dorky. Going to get more of this brand, I am usually a Dansko person.

These are very comfortable, stylish shoes. I love my Born mules as well. I do a lot of walking at work and they did rub just a little, but I don't think that can be avoided with bare feet and new shoes. The leather is very soft and the cushion is great. I also like the added height with most of the heel being a platform.

I have a lot of trouble finding shoes. I need arch support, comfort and of course style. These shoes are perfect! Typically, I don't wear shoes this high but will the platform heel I get a lot of support. They go great with leggings!

These shoes are very comfortable and chic. They look great with any outfit. Last year they became my favorite office pair. I could wear them all day and into the evening with no discomfort. They are well-made and make your feet look and feel great.

A super comfortable, walk in it all day kind of touring sandal. Took these to Europe and negotiated cobblestones, gravel, and the like with no problem. Can dress them up with a pretty skirt and be fine for dinner out.

Very cute shoe. Stylish, funky, well-made. Decided to return because a) I liked the other shoe I ordered better, and b) these shoes do make a slight puffing sound in the footbed when walking around in them. It's the padded footbed decompressing. I'm sure it's the kind of thing that would probably diminish with time, but it bugged me enough that I opted not to keep them. If you're thinking about these shoes, though, you should definitely check them out. I love the attractive-yet-comfortable heel, the wood and leather construction, the crisscross upper, the different color options, the higher-quality sole with (as far as I could tell) pretty good treads... It's a great shoe!

Fantastic versatile and comfortable. I love these! They are super-lightweight and look nicer & dressier (all black leather) than the photo. Fit perfect, strap at back is soft enough not to chafe. They weigh nothing! Getting many compliments.

These shoes are sooo comfortable. And Zappos is great to work with. The first pair of these sandals I received had some serious scuff marks. The return process was so easy and Zappos sent me my second pair before I had even dropped off the first pair. These sandals work well with a dress and slacks. The only down side is that the right shoe strap had to be adjusted as it slipped of the back of my foot. The left foot strap was fine as is.

I had a a lot of trouble with shoes because of an increasingly painful tailors bunion issue. I bought these shoes while on trip to San Francisco and wore them the same day and walked over 10 miles up and down hills and never felt anything other than grateful that I had these shoes!

I got these because I needed comfortable but still cool-looking shoes for walking all over NY. These are like walking on a cloud! Super comfortable, and they look cool with pants or skirts or shorts. I made my mom try them on because they feel so good!

Love these shoes! Probably the most comfortable sandals I own! They run large so I ordered a half size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly.

I wanted to keep these but they squeak when you walk in them. I don't like feeling the embossing on the inside of the sole; would prefer if it were level.

Very nice looking shoe and looks great on. Although it is comfortable, I am returning it because even with the platform it has a higher heal than I would like.

I needed a dress day sandal. These might have worked, but were not as somfortable as others, and seemed to be cheaply made, I thought.
