The shoe looks sturdy. But it was a 1/2 size larger than what I ordered. Maybe the made in USA shoes run larger than the made in China shoes.

My previous experience with Keen boots has been a very mixed bag. They have been comfortable from the start, but quickly deteriorated. I went through four pairs of the Detroit mid in one year. The common denominator was the breakdown of the foot bed. So I decided to upgrade to the Pittsburgh mid soft toe. The foot bed was slightly better, but the soles of both boots came off within about 18 months. Despite Keen's lack of performance, they've always been comfortable, which is a big issue for me. I decided to try one more time. I've purchase both the Mt. Vernon mid and the Braddock low soft toe. So far they are FAR superior to all the Keen boots I've previously purchased. I've always worn a EE width. These boots (both labeled as being built in the USA) in a medum (D) width are very comfortable. If your considering a Keen utility boot I would recommend buying only those Built in the USA!

There is a reason these are listed in the boot section. They are not just an electrical hazard protected version of the Austin or Oxford. These are low boots. They are stiffer and heavier than a shoe.

I bought these for my husband who is SUPER picky and he loves these shoes. They fit from the second he put them on. We visited our daughter in NC in January and he wore these shoes and they were perfect. He wears them at work, stands on concrete all day and they give him support and comfy feet all day. Happy hubby. KEENS ROCK!

Great shoes, very comfortable. The generous toe box allows my crooked toes room to spread out. Yes, they're more boots than shoes, but that's what I like. My feet felt safe in these shoes during a long day's work on a concrete factory floor. I wore them all day the first day and had no discomfort.

This is a very nice shoe and comfortable. I highly recommend buying if you are on your feet for a long time. I have bought from Zappos while deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq very fast shipping. I'm very pleased with their service.

Somewhat heavy for shoes. One cloth eyelet broke soon after the warranty expired. Will not order again.

I always wear a size 12 so I was surprised to feel my toes touching the front of the size 12. This shoe looks like a sleek sports shoe in the photos but in reality it is thick and clunky more like a hiking boot.

I've gone through several pairs of Keen utility Oxfords which I really liked. I thought I'd try the more expensive Braddocks to see if they're even better. My biggest complaint is that they have shoelace loops instead of metal eye holes which makes it difficult to get them tight. Overall they don't feel any different and are actually less comfortable because they're looser. Save some money and buy the Oxfords unless you want a flashier looking shoe.

Have been purchasing and wearing KEEN work boots and shoes for approx 15 years. Currently have 8 pair. I have wide feet, and KEEN boots and shoes almost all have a nice wide "toe box" and are available in wide sizes. Every pair of KEEN boots and shoes are made of very high quality materials, double and triple stitched (built like a tank) and are still comfortable after a 10 hour shift. Every day I go to work, I wear KEEN. Highly recommended.

Built heavy duty. Good materials used (not flimsy). I use it as winter boots in ice/snow. I have bought keen footwear before, and I would definitely recommend these boots.

This excellent shoe fit about a 1/2 size too small

I found the Braddock soft toe comfortable and true to size. Some say they are heavy but they are primarily a work shoe and I expect that. I assume they will break in a bit and be a little more comfortable. Seem well made and they should be.

The first pair were just a tad too big so I took advantage of the Exchange program & my smaller size was shipped before I even printed the return label.

The fit was good, and they have a nice support through the sole. A nice shoe for both work and knocking around. Wish they had a eyelet instead of the sewed on style where the shoe string goes through. When they break there isn't a real good way to replace it.

Shoes are comfortable right out of the box. Good support, durable. I really like the way they look. Keen has begun selling too many "prissy" looking shoes. Do not discontinue these shoes.

The boots are well made. I was happy to see quality work men ship in this product. I have a number of boots from Keen and the boots were not manufacture as well as this one. I would have like a little more arch suppport in the boot, but will install inserts to take care of that.

Extremely happy with these boots. Lightweight and comfortable, would definitely recommend.

These shoes are the most comfortable work shoes I've ever owned.And right out of the box. I've recently been diagnosed with diabetes and these shoes have helped my feet feel much better. Plus they are quite stylish. I've never spent so much for a work show before, but will in the future for these.

Shoe fit as expected, very lite and comfortable. Only took a couple of days to break them in. Will definitely look for a winter version when the seasons change.
