I bought these for an upcoming hiking trip that will involve getting feet wet. This brand was recommended. I can review that they seem to fit true to size and that you can tighten them as needed via the straps. I liked the toe straps on this style vs another Chaco pair I ordered that seemed looser without the toe strap. I am excited to wear them because they are cute and seem like they would be very comfortable.

I normally wear a size 9 running shoe and flip flops, but size 8 in these fit perfectly. I’ve owned one pair of Chacos sandals before, and they lasted through 13 summers! My previous pair did not have a heel strap like these, so it took some getting used to at first. The heel strap does not cradle the heel closely, so I was concerned it could rub too much. So far that hasn’t happened. I wish the buckle straps were a bit shorter, but overall very comfortable and easy to adjust for a good fit!

I decided to keep Everglade after looking at the black and the pully gold as well. Everglade is a beautiful teal color and looked best on my very fair skin. I have high arches and am always on the lookout for comfortable shoes after a few foot problems that include neuromas in both feet (removed via surgery) and intermittent problems with plantar fasciitis. What I love besides the color: Ease of getting in and out of them without being fastened with Velcro, they feel stable on my feet, cushion on the sole, completely adjustable fit. What I'm not sure about: I'm still getting the hang of adjusting the straps on these. I wore them to the store after deciding to keep them and discovered that I don't have the toe loop adjusted correctly. It was a little painful and I'm still working with it, but my feet weren't sore from walking in them for a few hours so I'm hopeful. The other thing that I don't completely like is that when I pull the strap tight across my ankle, the strap tail is very long and I either have to tuck it in somehow or it drags on the ground. I like the sandal and have high hopes that it will work long-term.

I live these shoes and wanted them to fit in the worst way. I wear a 5.5 and the strap around the heel was loose. It isn’t adjustable and I was bugged about the looseness. I tried a size 5 and they were too short. I wore the sandals around the house multiple times hoping I could adjust to the loose heal strap. No such luck.

Fit true to size. Wore them on a hike and to the lake and felt great! Very little break-in. Mold right to your feet.

Really like Chacos but can't tolerate the strap between the toes. I have a bunion and it really pulls on the toe, which is uncomfortable. I'm sticking with the Chacos that don't have anything between the toes

I ordered these after the recommendation of a friend who loves them. I find the strap between the big toe and other toes very uncomfortable. I like the Chaco styles that don't have this feature much better. The arch support is great. And once you get them adjusted to your fit, and get used to squeezing your foot into them from then on, they're very comfortable

Instep too short.

These are super cute except they are too small for my big toe. I don’t consider my big toe to be exceptionally large so I’d say that these are best for people who have skinny big toes...

Not the red I was looking for.

Normally I wear a 9-9.5, so I was surprised that the 9 that I first ordered was too big. I measured my foot and checked the size chart and ordered an 8, which fits perfectly, though I wish the instep strap (with the buckle) was just a smidge longer, so the buckle was more on the side of my foot). Ideally, a half size would be the sweet spot. I do notice that the heel strap on my right foot feels like it's going to slip off the back, but it doesn't. That might just be an anomaly of my feet. Because of the custom adjustment of the straps, they feel secure on my feet otherwise, and are super comfortable. I feel like I could walk a long way in these. No one is going to mistake these for dressy sandals, but that's not why I bought them.

The fit was a little tight, b I do like the design of the shoe.

This is my first pair of Chaco sandals. I love the color (rune teal). The fit is a bit awkward due to the high arch, but according to reviews, there will be an adjustment period. Since I got them on sale, I’m willing to wait and hope I get used to the arches. If I find they are comfortable, I will look for more of same in different colors.

I wanted to love these, but they had to go back for a few reasons . . . adjusting the double straps was a headache and one I knew I'd have again as I anticipated having to readjust as they broke in. The arch support was also a bit too high for my feet. I loved the color of the straps, but was not sold on the pine green foot bed. Had I liked the fit and color better, I would have kept them as they are well made and I think would have been great for hiking on different terrain.

Toe didn't fit. Otherwise this fit perfectly!

Purchased these for my 32 year old daughter. She has what she calls "janky" feet - bad bunions, high arches, narrow heel, wide front. She LOVES these shoes. She usually wears a 9-1/2. We got the 9 and they fit great. Arch support is super, very comfortable, and they are great looking. Only reason I gave a 4* overall is that she went creek wading in the mountains yesterday and complained that the sole was VERY slick on the rocks - no traction at all. But for dry ground, around town, or moderate hiking, these are great shoes - very pleased

I just got these a few weeks ago. First impression is that they are a quality sandal. They fit well for me. I typically wear a 6.5 and I got these in the 6. Perfect! The grey footbed can get dirty easily and is more noticeable than if the footbed were dark, but I'm picky about that and most people who want these sandals will be hiking and getting dirty and probably won't care how new they look. They are very comfortable and have a nice soft feel when you walk. There is a learning curve on how to make the straps work for you but nothing to difficult. I think the straps do shift as you walk and can tighten up on the big toe, perhaps that will happen less once they are less slick and new. The toe strap doesn't bother me but if you have really sensitive feet and hate a flip flop toe peg, opt for the chacos without the toe straps.

Love this sandal, but unfortunately is too tight around the big toe. I ordered a size bigger and it's still the same problem. Will try another style.

The arch support and fit are good. The Chaco has an eccentric strap system-- all those straps are one piece, and you adjust the fit by pulling them through slots in the sole. I have found it difficult to get it right. Also, the straps are harsh, not soft. I've been afraid to walk long distances in them for fear of blistering. Nonetheless, these shoes have been great in the water. I think I would recommend the model that does not have a toe loop. Simpler to manage.

These sandals are adorable and are what I am looking for. I ordered 6W. I need arch support. The front fit perfect, but the loop behind the heel which is not adjustable was too big. I am 5'4" 120 pounds and while my feet are wide in front, they are not pudgy. Sad these did not work for me.

This sandal was fairly comfortable, but didn't have enough arch support for me and the back strap was too fat and ugly on my somewhat dainty foot.

Once I did the adjustments like the instruction card said the fit was good, but the sole is quite heavy and clunky and it just wasn't what I was looking for. If that didn't bother you I think they'd be really comfortable.

I love the footbed but... the straps absolutely strangled my right foot. I have scoliosis so my feet are weird. Wanted so much, to love.
