For starters, I ended up returning these back. I really wanted to love them but I have higher arches. The “buckle” didn’t sit on the side of my foot, but instead at the top. I’ve seen others wear their Chacos this way but I personally didn’t like it. I was tempted to exchange for a wide, in hopes of the straps being longer. I didn’t do this because I figured the fit wouldn’t be right for my average width feet. Overall, I really wanted to love these and debated on getting them over Tevas. In the end I bought another pair of Birkenstocks, which I sadly cannot get wet.

I bought this in wide, but the toe band was not made for people with bunions. Very constricting and uncomfortable. Had to return.

Every time I wear these, the texture on the footbed causes me serious blisters. They are comfortable otherwise, but my skin hates them

Ordered one each of the cloud and the classic. I'm leaning towards keeping the cloud because the soul feels a little more comfortable. The foot seems to slip in the classic because the material is a little harder. Both offer the best arch support of any sandals that I have tried--and I've tried a lot in the past couple of weeks! Thank goodness for Zappos generous return policy. I have a painful fallen arch and so far the Chaco's are the only sandal that provide enough support for me to walk. I've been living in motion control New Balance and Saucony shoes for the past few years, so this is a real treat to find something I can wear in hot weather. Classic are going back, but I'm keeping the Cloud.

These shoes have a large arch support. Wore them this weekend and they started to give me blisters on the arch of my foot. Guess I'll need to wear them some more to break them in as I was planning to wear them for vacation. They're pretty simple to adjust once you get the hang of it, and they dry fairly quickly.

Love the shoe but the straps were too loose.

I loved the colors and the feel of the shoes on my feet except for the toe loop (it cut off the circulation to my big toe). It has really good arch support. BUT the regular width in women’s Chaco sandals is way too narrow. I never order a wide in any type of shoe, so if you have regular width feet or slightly wide feet ORDER THE WIDE WIDTH!!!!!

I love Chacos. That being said, I switched from double straps with no toe loop to these single straps with the toe loop, and definitely prefer the ones without the toe loop more. I found these were more difficult to break in, and still struggle some days with the comfort of the straps. When they are in the right positions they are the comfiest sandals i own, and I wear them daily in the summer!

I purchased the wide, and while the footbed was plenty wide enough, the parts that stick up below the ankle were way too tall and poked into my ankles. They also felt at least a size too large in length. I was really disappointed because my podiatrist recommended them for plantar fasciitis and I was really looking forward to having a pair of sandals!

I was really excited when I ordered these and as always were shipped extremely fast. When I tried them on, I was struggling to get the right fit. Everything would fit at the front but for some reason the back strap felt really loose and did not secure my foot very well. I really wanted to love them but just did not work for me so my mom tried them on and they fit her pretty good. Ended up passing them on to my mom.

I was so excited to receive my chacos because all I heard were excellent reviews about the brand, but unfortunately, I didn't pay mind to the reviews that criticized the loop over the big toe. It is the most uncomfortable trait in this type of shoe because the adjustable band tightens while you wear the shoe for a more natural fit. I could be driving my car wearing the shoes, and the loop over my toe would cut off my circulation completely! If you have narrow toes and feet, the fit should be fine for you, but overall, I would not recommend the toe loop. Absolutely uncomfortable and renders the shoes unwearable. However, I would still recommend getting a pair (without the loop) because the material is super durable and practical for all means of wear.

Nice looking sandal. Unfortunately the heel bed is too narrow for my foot. The bumps where the straps come out rubbed on my heel. Was hoping for a functional wide sandal. I'll have to keep looking.

This is a great shoe but it's a bit heavier than the other Teva's.

My biggest issue with these is the sizing. I don't have wide or narrow feet, so I ordered my regular size 10. When they came they looked wide but when I put them on they are so narrow!! And the back strap at the heel does not adjust...this also made the shoe not fit. I don't understand why all the other straps adjust but this one does not...overall disappointed.

I have very long, very narrow feet, and finding sandals that are adjustable enough to not flop around is always a chore. I chose the Loon Green color instead of my usual go-to black, and I am pleased. The color is a true green (my favorite) and looks much as it does on the screen. I normally wear a 10 or 11 but sized down all the way to a 9 in these. I haven't worn a single digit shoe size since elementary school! Adjusting the strap is simple. My only complaint is that once the strap is snug on my foot, the end nearest the buckle drags on the ground because my feet are so narrow. I think this is probably the opposite of the usual problem, but if this shoe were ever made in AA width, I'd be first in line to buy a pair!

These took a bit for me to get adjusted just right, bit harder due to the toe ring style, but once I did, love these shoes. Great arch support, very comfortable.

Very good arch support They are a heavy sandal. I have a narrow foot so I couldn’t adjust them enough to not be loose on one foot. Also, the strap is so long I’d have to cut it off. Will need to return

The only reason I’m not rating this shoes as good is because the heel strap was way too large and my heel kept sliding out the back no matter how much I adjusted. The heel strap is sewed on both sides making it impossible to adjust which I find a major design flaw honestly. I ordered a different style which seemed to fit my heel better but these ones just wouldn’t work. Overall a great shoes but consider that the heel strap is on the larger side before you purchase.

Footbed has great arch support. Unfortunately, adjusting the straps was beyond me. I was able to fit one perfectly, but the other wouldn't loosen up enough to adjust, no matter how hard I tried so I am returning these.

First time wearing Chacos. Very comfortable for all-day wear, especially good support for high arches! However, they're not slip-on-and-go sandals. I need 10 minutes every time I put them on to fiddle with the straps.

This is a really cute sandal- I love the strap pattern. I was trying the Z2 toe strap style for the first time as I wanted the extra support up top, but it kept tightening around my toe and was uncomfortable for my foot. I have 2 pair of 10 and 15 year-old Z1 Classic Chaco's that are still in great shape; I wanted a new color strap. I've recently tried several new pairs of Chaco sports sandals; the Mega Cloud- I loved the straps but the sole was too soft, and several Z1 Classics. I've come to the sad realization that Chaco is no longer making the Classic sole like they used to. I've relied upon Chaco Classic for their great arch support as mine are high but after ordering several pairs and returning them I realize that the old arch support in the Classic sandal is gone in favor of a lower one. Maybe less expensive to make? This is a huge disappointment for me, and I will not be ordering more.

I so wanted to love these sandals. I did love the look of them. Unfortunately I found the arch too high and the heel too narrow for my apparently stumpy feet.

I bought these because my seven year-old Chaco's (same style) finally gave up the ghost. I am disappointed to see that Chaco's no longer offers Vibram soles so I am sceptical about how long these will wear. Additionally, the webbing seems flimsy compared to my old ones which will be a problem given how hard I am on my sandals. They are comfortable and I love the adjustable straps so I will have to wait and see. I wasn't terribly impressed with the colours offered.

Hard to get my big toe into the toe hole, and no way to adjust the straps. Felt sturdy, but a bit heavy.

Pros: 1. A lot of support and stability 2. Adjustable straps 3. Interesting colors Cons: 1. Style and look is clunky, boxy, just plain weird. The giant plastic buckle sticks out. The sole is supportive and strong yes, but also chunky and just takes over the whole shoe. 2. The straps are a pain. They dug into my skin even after adjusting them. They just aren't very soft or stretchy. 3. The sole made my feet feel too hot. Overall, probably a great shoe for people who need a ton of support and don't care too much about "style" or softness. I'm going to keep looking for a more athletic sandal that still looks good.
