The pants was super light when I first try it on. I tried this pants out in mountain BALDY. It moves really well I didn't feel the pants constrict in anyways. The water repellent was excellent, I tried to walk through water stream, it came off immediately. I think I made a great purchased, I was concerned I wouldn't like it, I am pretty satified.

Unbelievably comfortable, I barely took them off for the first three days I had them. Will be excellent trail pants, can't wait to get them in the backcountry

Excellent fitting for an uncle for whom I brought this. We shipped this instead of store pick up since we did not get the exact size in the store. The shipping was timely. Color matched expectations. The size was also almost exactly correct except it was slightly longer than required. Overall, very satisfied with the buy !

I have had sizing issues with most convertible pants. To get the length I need (6'2") the waist ends up huge, when the wind blows it looks like I'm wearing a tent! Not with these. They are true to size in waist and length. The shorts are knee length which I prefer. Own 2 pair now which I wear exclusively fishing Walleye Tournaments that require long days on the boat. They don't get stained with worm dirt or fish slim.

I picked these up for my boyfriend after a month of failing to find his size at any of our local outdoor supply stores. The zip off legs are super easy to use and the fabric is so light, theyre hardly noticeable in the pack. They kept him cool on blustery coastal hikes, but warm enough back at camp. Really, anything to keep my city-boy comfortable enough outdoors to want to go back out again is a miracle. He LOVES the fit and style.

Love the pants, they're great for the trail. Lightweight, cool, and they pack up very small. Only complaint is the pockets are pretty shallow. I have an iPhone 6 in a case and it barely fits in the pocket.

Just bought them and absolutely love them. They are lightweight and have a great range of motion while hiking or running the river.

My husband loves these pants and I bought these for him when his old pair ripped. We travel often and these are perfect for our lifestyle.

These are now my go to pants. I WILL buy another pair of a different color. I spent a week rafting down the Grand Canyon and put these pants to the test. They are a joy to wear and performed better than expected. The stretch fabric is absolutely wonderful. Some reviewers thought they were a bit snug, but I did not have that experience.

These convertible pants will take you from the airplane to dinner to the hike in the rain forest. The material travels well and hangs and feels like dressier pants in your closet. One down fall is the pockets are very shallow and the Iphone plus does not fit.

Loved these pants.....the only draw back it that they have really shallow front pockets. I felt like stuff would fall out.

Nice, comfortable, lightweight pants. The only thing I would add is a knife pocket on one or both sides.

I bout 2 pairs of these, one for my husband and one for my son and they were both excited to get them. They each had an old pair that were looking pretty sad after a decade or so. They like to fish and hike, so these are perfect for that. These are light weight, fit well and dry fast. They seem to run pretty true to size, but if you are not sure, go up a size in the waist as they have no give. They can always wear a belt.

These pants fit nicely. I ordered these for my son who is very tall and slim. We were able to find the longer length at Zappos and they were cheaper than REI. Yeah!

I wear these pants to climb, hike, lounge, and as daywear. They are more comfortable, breathable, and stretchy than most of my sweatpants, so I wear them pretty much all the time.

These pants performed very well. True to size, durable, look great and light weight. My only hangup and its not so much a big deal is that I would have liked to have the bottom removable section have a zipper/buttons at the bottom that would allow them to easily slid off over shoes/boots. I liked to length of the shorts section as they hung at or just below the knee

Great for travel and at home too! My son doesn't like traditional khakis because they are too stiff, so these are perfect. He says they are so comfortable. The fact that they convert into shorts is great for travel because a day may start off cool and then get hot. Also, when traveling internationally you sometimes find yourself in places where shorts are not acceptable, so you can just zip your pants back on! My son is typically a size 31 which is hard to find, but the 32 was perfect. In the Marmot version of these pants, we had to go with the 30.

I bought to satisfy my work and outdoor needs. I'm able to wear them to work since they look so nice and I can hit the trails immediately after work! Very comfortable and just the right amount of room for free range of motion no matter what I'm doing. Converting to shorts is also a plus if I want to run. A little thinner than I would have liked so I'm not sure how they will cooperate with colder weather but still doesn't take away from my five star rating. Zippers are very well made and durable as well.

I like convertible pants for the ability to reduce the clothing need to pack on trips. The zip security pocket is a must for some high traffic areas and shady characters (think Rome).
