My husband had a larger pair of these pants, but lost enough weight that he wanted a better fit. He likes the light weight and that they are so easy to pack in a small space. Also they dry quickly if you need to hand wash them on a longer camping trip.

I have wore these pants on a hike that was cut short due to hail. I only used it for about 2 miles before the weather surprised us but I can already tell that I LOVE THESE PANTS. The material feels great and the fit is true to size. I have not used the shorts yet but I know that they will come in handy during the summer. There is reason why hikers love the pants and I finally know why they a reviewed so highly.

Is very weightless and confortable.

This convertible pants products is light weight and very comfortable. The moisture and stain resistance is a great feature as well. Given as a gift, the recipient was extremely pleased (consequently, so am I!).

These pants are great! I picked them up so that I could have some pants to use when I hike. These could run tight on small as there is no elastic in the pants, so be prepared for that. Overall happy with my purchase!

I purchased these for my fishing and hiking outings. After taking them on an overnight hike and camping trip, I am extremely pleased. They're are breathable and lightweight. At the same time, TOUGH. Held up very well to the elements and rubbing against trees, branches, and plants.

Seems good quality. Haven't got a chance to wear it for a hike out. Hopefully it's as good as it looks. Prefer another color, but this one is on sale. I got a great deal!

Very functional pants that are idea for spring and summer. I have never used a pants/shorts combination like this, but the pants are very comfortable and good for outdoor activities.

Very good, only downside is the fabric that doe snot look as stronger as other pants but overall is recommendable. If you have very thick leg go for larger size.

These pants are made of a wonderful fabric I could live in them and never take them off! And I love the fact that they can also turn into shorts is amazing!

I love these pants, they fit great. And the stretch makes the comfortable for my activities. It seems water repellent, cleans very well and is silky smooth unlike the silver ridge convertible pants. They are more like fitted khakis. It does not run big it is tailored to fit exactly your tailored size so you might want to get a size up if you like them more comfortable or looser. I like the tailored look so I stick with my exact size.

Love the features and it's very comfortable. Wish I can get the black color. Still love the pants!

prefect for gulf fishing

These pants look very nice and can be worn with dress shoes. I would like to have another secure zipper pocket. The mess material in the pockets is great. The pants fit snugly and are water resistant.... I'm taking them to Brazil next month....(Currently in Steamboat Colorado) so we'll see how they do in the extreme heat....I reserve the right to change my score if needed... right now I give them a 9 out of 10.

Bought 2 pairs for upcoming Caribbean cruise. Like the light weight and ability to convert to shorts. Also, 2 back pockets!

Fabric is water repellent and quick dry. I could also wear in winter with second layer underneath. Cut is standard fit - neither skinny nor bulky. Leg open is 17" which is too wide for my taste but could be good to wear with hiking boots. I have 5' 6", 29" waist and 135 lb. Size 30 x Inseam 28 fits perfect.

these pants are lightweight and they fit really well. I took them to the snow and I sat down in a few places to take pictures and the moisture from the snow didn't deep through. I'm sure they'll work the same with the rain.
