Good looking sandals but the leather felt stiff and I was afraid it would rub and be painful. Also the sole was stiffer than I had expected.

These are so cute in a retro 70s way, and I remember the 70s...anyway! I wear and 8.5 ordered a 9 and they fit well. Only issue is the length of the buckle strap. It’s too short on the end and doesn’t tuck in the loop. I wear them anyway coz I can’t see the back and the front is just what I wanted

I bought these sandals for a trip to Europe that will involve a lot of walking. They are super light weight and provide great support. They look terrific and are very comfortable.

Nice sandals but thong leather was not comfortable.

very cute sandal but the leather strapping felt too stretchy and with wear would get stretchy-er...so sent 'em back with a tiny sadness!

These shoes are very cute and would be great for walking around town. Unfortunately I was looking for something that would be good in town and on the trails as well so they did not fit the bill. They are simple with a pretty flat sole, great for minimalist style footwear in my opinion.

I’m an 8.5, ordered 9. Fit well. Strap across the top is a little short for a high instep, but does buckle. However even on the 2nd hole, there’s not enough strap to tuck into the loop. So that’s on the shoe, not on me. Anyway super cute and comfy

I ordered the sand color - not cute. I think the best option for Olukai is black to match the sole to avoid making it stand out. I have a pair of thong black ones, which I LOVE and get so many compliments on them! If the straps contrast too much with the sole they start to look bit sporty, which is ok if that is the look you want. Black on black is a win and the thong version with back strap is really great. I find that each style fits a bit differently in this brand so best to try a few sizes.

I wanted to love these, I thought they were the comfortable and cute sandal I had been looking for. Unfortunately every step I took my arch made a squelching sound against the rubber footbed and did not go away with a wear around the house. Perhaps if the footbed was made of a different material this wouldn't happen. Otherwise, the arch support is great and the leather straps are soft. Loved the shoe but could not bear the squelching noise and have to return.

They look good and I feel better about wearing these because they do offer a bit of arch support. You can definitely wear these with jeans/shorts and also with casual summer dresses. I work in a business casual environment and can get away with wearing them to work as well in the summer months. My only complaint is that the toe hole rubs a bit and seems slightly tight. Maybe I just have unusually big toes (totally possible) but I'm hoping the leather softens and this goes away.

They’re really cute and pretty comfortable. The straps were a little stiff and the loop around my big toe rubbed a lot and was too tight, so I returned them.

I ordered both the Kona Coffee and Mustard/Bubbly in my normal Olukai size of 10 and both fit well, looked great (although the Kona is REALLY dark for a summer sandal) and I loved them-the Kona however was returned because they smelled extremely strongly like new-car leather smell, something that I couldn't handle. Overall these are extremely comfortable, with buttery soft leather I know I'll love to wear.

I generally wear size 5.5 and with high arches and borderline wide (but not quite wise enough for wide shoes), these were a great fit for me. I searched everywhere to find comfortable sandals that didn’t look like they belonged on a senior citizen, and these hit the mark!

The strap on biggest toe is not adjustable and it just didn’t fall in the right place for me, so I sent it back. For reference I have a slightly wide foot at the about the level of the big toe - a narrow width foot would probably be fine. Nice quality leather.

A cute sandal from OluKai, with good arch support and comfortable straps (I like that they are wide and don't dig into my feet). I find the toe loop a slightly uncomfortable and unnecessary addition though. If the 'Awe'Awe had been available when I ordered these I probably wouldn't have purchased that style instead to avoid the toe loop. I'm a 9.5 in most shoes, but in OluKai flip flops I'm a 9, and I ordered these Upena sandals in the 9 as well, which is the correct size for me. I'm marking them as feeling a half size large, since I normally wear half sizes and have to size down for this brand.

This is a very pretty sandal. It felt comfortable enough for just wearing casually but it didn't seem like it would be comfortable for extended walking around in. They are quite flat, with little support.

I wanted to love these so bad! They are very stylish and the sole of the sandal was very comfortable... My issue was with the width. I have slightly wide feet and typically wear a 9.5. I tried both a 9 and a 10 and found that both pairs ran a bit snug on my feet (the 10 I feel would have stretched to fit, but they were a bit too long for my taste). I also found that they place where the front foot strap and the toe strap met put uncomfortable pressure on the joint of my big toe. The leather straps are very soft though and I feel would have stretched to relieve this pressure. Overall, I say with Zappos' awesome return policy to still give them a shot, as I feel that they could be a fashionable, comfortable summer shoe for a lot of people!

These shoes seemed to be more fitted towards people with long thin feet. I am an adult with small feet and the fit just seemed off. The toe loop was a little painful as well maybe just due to the shoes not fitting well? The crossing design looked too much like the chacos i already own and love when I was looking for something different.

I loved these, but my normal size 8 was too small. I wanted them for vacation and didn’t have time to order 8.5

I ordered this shoe based on other reviews. I'm glad I did. It is very comfortable. I love the style and the arch is support is perfect for my feet.

If this sandal fits your foot I think it's a great stylish walking shoe. I have a wider fat foot and the straps were too tight across my foot. Also I would've liked it half a size shorter. Quite often with sandals with the heel right at the back, I end up with too much space at the toe end. I ordered my usual size 7.

Overall - very happy with my purchase. These shoes are definitely comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time but look more dressy than flip-flops. They don't have quite as much arch support as the regular olukai flip-flops however. Still I had no problems whatsoever with the straps being too tight, rubbing, etc. These will be my go to shoes whenever I put on nice shorts, a skirt or dress in the summer.

This is overall a very attractive and comfortable sandal. I am a true size 8, but in these, I got a size 9 because they ran small. I've never worn a 9 before or even an 8.5. I also have pretty narrow feet; the leather straps can be adjusted a bit to fit so there was not problem with width for me. There is moderate arch support. My only complaint is that the sole is a bit hard.

I bought these to wear while traveling...I was looking for something that would be good for walking, that might get a bit wet, and also had aa bit of style. I think they worked out great! Super comfy, the silver color is subdued...I like them!
