I am a frequent business traveler with 10 to 13 hour flights a normal part of my week. A travel pillow is a must on long flights because you never know how comfortable the seat that you will be spending half a day in (typically while totally exhausted) will be. After years of carrying around a bulking memory foam travel pillow, I decided it was time for something that doesn't take up half my suitcase (I'm a carry-on only traveler). I swear by Eagle Creek products for their durability and excellent design and this pillow does not disappoint. Nearly as comfortable as the full size memory foam that it replaced while taking up a negligible amount of space in my bag. Absolutely love it and would recommend for any traveler whether for a flight across the country or around the world. #sweepstakes

I have had mine for about 20 years! It has accompanied me on numerous tavels and, most recently, I used it like a regular pillow travelling Amtrak Coach from Seattle to New York, curled up on two seats at night! The bladder has finally sprung a leak and I am happy that I can purchase a new bladder so cheaply. The outer 'glove' is soft and washable. I love that it folds up so small, taking up very little space in my carry-on and is supportive and comfortable. I see people lugging around non-inflatable neck pillows that are not washable and I feel quite smug that mine is tucked away inside my bag! I am a 5' 3" 135lb female and it is just perfect for me! I highly recommend it!

Purchased this for a long trip where I am only taking a carry on bag so needed things to be very compact. Inflates easily, deflates easily and seems to give good support. Got one for my husband too.

IT SUPPORTS THE HEAD AND NECK WITH THE SAME COMFORT AS THE STUFFED NECK PILLOWS. THE BEST FEATURE IS WHEN IT IS DEFLATED IT PACKS NEATLY INTO YOUR CARRY ON.

I have had this pillow forever. I have used it on all my travels when I fly. I love it.... After almost 20 years it has sprung an air leak. As we know nothing lasts forever and I'm excited to know I can get the same pillow today.

Compact, sturdy , very easy to inflate

Loved this! Slept pretty well on the plane with this thing. So sad that I left its rolled up little self in some unviewable corner of my closet. I'll have to replace it for my next trip.

Love that I can have a comfy pillow for long trips that I can fit into my carry on. No more pillows floppping around on the bag or falling off onto the airport floor! YUCK!

This pillow made the trip to Alaska so much nicer. Took it out of my day bag inflated it which got some attention and fell asleep. A few folks around me did ask about it since they had the normal travel pillows we are all used to.. Glad to have purchased this and can't imagine traveling without it.

This product is great for my frequent travel. It inflates and deflates easily, and I appreciate being able to wash the cover.

Amazingly, when I called to check on ordernig a replacement bladder for my multi-year old inflatable pillow I found that it was still covered under a lifetime guarantee, Further sine the Sandman was discontinued, they are sending me a brand new updated model called the Exhale which looks like a better design. Kudos to Eagle Creek for the policy and response! I remain a BIG fan of their products!

No cons all pros!

My husband and I each used the neck pillow on a recent flight and it was very comfortable and didn't get too hot, a problem we've experienced with other products. It was very easy to inflate and deflate and packs very small.

I like the small size, fits into carryon easily. Holds and maintains air, no leaks. The cover is a little thin, but not bad.

With the less bulky head support, it should be more comfortable for sleeping in airplanes and cars (where there are head supports)

Seems comfortable when used with not-so-thick neck support, easy to inflate, and the cover is of soft material. Maybe, this is the pillow for me and I have bought many which remained unused.

I bought this because I never take my bucky travel pillow as it is just too heavy. This pillow was easy to inflate and held it's shape. Not sure if Eagle Creek improved the valve but I had none of the inflating problems people mentioned. I liked that the ends can be hooked together so it stays put and doesn't fall off while sleeping on the plane. Fabric could be a little softer and cosier (and the valve is on the softest side which isn't ideal) but it is perfect as it is extremely lightweight and rolls into a tiny stuff sack for easy storage.

Used it once so far for a flight trip from Montana to Nevada and the only complaint I have is the piece that sits behind your neck does not fill that space very well. I have not tried to clean it yet but seems like it would do well.

Used on a trip to Ireland and on the way back, it would not stay inflated. Very disappointed since it is a long flight home. Company would not replace since I had bought it a few months before. Didn't know when we would use it, but wanted to have it on hand for a future trip.

At least it held its inflation for a whole Transatlantic flight. Not quite as soft as advertised.

Fabric not as strong and comfortable as the one I bought before

I was looking for something with better support, wish Eagle Creek had a better pillow.

This is a poor uncomfortable replacement for a wonderful product. After my wonderful inflatable Eagle Creek pillow began leaking, I found that I could not replace it, nor could I purchase replacement bladders. So, tried the current version. I found it to be far too small and terribly uncomfortable. It did not provide nearly the level of support and comfort of my old version. The old 19.5" wide version had a comfortable soft cover and folded nicely and fit into my briefcase, yet it was large enough to provide great sleeping support in various positions on my 14 hour flights to Asia. I am extremely disappointed and hope Eagle Creek will consider bringing back the the far superior version.

I ordered the current version of the inflatable travel neck pillow and am quite disappointed. The fabric is thinner, fuzzy on one side and more slick on the other side. The inflatable bladder plastic is thinner than my plastic kitchen bags and I expect it to end up punctured after a few uses. My previous neck pillow rolled in on itself into a sleeve on the pillow, making it easy to store. The new one comes with a small stuff sack that could be lost very quickly. Nothing else will enclose the neck pillow. On the business side, I never got a receipt for my purchase even though I was told they sent it. They refused my PayPal account. I paid for special shipping, but missed the shipping deadline because the information on the website had a west coast address, but shipping was in the midwest. I did not get my product in time for my trip. And, the pillow is about 3" in diameter and 6" long. The shipping box was 19"x9"x4". What a waste.
