The break in period has been next to nothing, Comfort almost as soon as I started wearing them, All the croc footwear that I have purchased in the past has been great!

Great shoe, the first pair lasted 6 years easy to wash just apply shoe oil to the top after washing for a brand new look.

Second pair....got the new ones just to improve the looks when worn casual. Great for beach or boat. I do not like traditional flip-flops, but these slides are really comfortable and functional. Very durable - have had first pair 2 years in heat, sand, water, being worn virtually everyday 9 mos/year - they are still holding up.
