I bought this pair of pants for my husband. it will be his second pair of Arcteryx pants. He loves them, and it is a bonus that they came in his exact inseam of 33". The color is a nice neutral blue; his other pair is olive green.

I have two pairs of these pants for work and I have never had a better pair of pants. I work at Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary and i need lots of pockets to incorporate what i take with me on a daily basis. My job is very physical and I have never felt restricted in these pants. I will keep buying these for as long as they are available.

I bought a pair for our trip to Costa Rica, these are great pants for travel, worked really well on rainy days and sunny days. The designer that located the slash pockets got it just right for your phone, it drops in at an angle and stays there, no flopping around like cargo pockets. My favourite travel/hiking/cycling/everything pants.

I got these pants mainly for climbing and they're perfect for it! After doing quite a few kneebars i've noticed no wear at all, i haven't had any durability problems with these pants. Very comfy and stretchy and BREATHABLE, it's amazing how breathable these are, it feels like you're wearing shorts! I purchased two pairs one in grey (pegasus) and the other is black. I wear these almost everyday, i'll plan on backpacking with the black pair for most of the summer, i'll see how they hold up, they are so far.

Great hiking pants, comfortable and durable. Wore these all over a backpacking trip this year and preferred these to other pairs I own for fit, style, and breathability.

Probably the nicest pants I've owned. Purchased several pair. Fit like they were tailored just for me and yet somehow there is plenty of articulation with these pants. Super comfortable. Very breathable. The fabric feels durable even though light. I compared these pants to another well known brand and the fabric on the other brand was just not very tough and they felt more like stretchy slacks. I'll just hit these with some DWR treatment and should be ready for anything. Fit: I'm 5 ft 9 in and 150. Lbs. Purchased 30 w 30 l and fit perfect.

These are my favourite Arc'teryx pants! One of the few pairs I can wear without a belt. Great for all sorts or outdoors activities and around town. They are not water resistant, but they dry extremely quickly! Good pockets!

WHO: I'm 5'10" 170lbs, 31" waist 32" inseam, Athletic build, living in the Southeast of the US with relatively mild winters. I'm kind of a gear-head and all my pants, even the ones I wear to work, can be described as tactical. I got a size 32 in these and I've had them just over a year. WHAT: In a word, light. I can't believe Arc'teryx didn't put a SL (super light) at the end of the name like they do on packs and jackets. Made for travel and casual wear in warmer climates, not for heavy use like tough hiking scrambles or climbing. WHEN: For where I live these are year round pants in all but the coldest winter activities. WHERE: Out on the town or just to work for the day. I use these things all over (the world). WHY: They're the best fitting Arc'teryx pants I own (out of 7 different styles). STYLE: I love the look and feel. They're a new take on the cargo pant that I think makes them a little more on the dressy side of casual. And the fabric is so light you barely know it's there. The pants are labeled "Trim fit" but I find them more roomy, especially in the thighs, than other Arc'teryx pants. FUNCTION: There's a LOT here in a very small package. And by small I mean these pack down into a 2.5" roll (great for travel). Gusseted crotch, articulated knees, super quick drying and 6 pockets, all with no bulk. 10 out of 10 In my opinion, Arc'teryx makes the best pack and jackets in the world, but not pants. In the past the fit has just been a little off. I've had more than one pair significantly shrink in the wash (+2"). It's just in the last few seasons that they've really started to get it right.

These pants are great for travel. The zipper pockets on both thighs are perfectly positioned for access while sitting and so you don't loose pocket contents while sitting. When you thigh is horizontal so is the zipper. They are big enough to hold an iPhone 6+ with a heavy duty case. Both back pockets have a flap with a snap so they can be closed. The two front pockets are very very deep. This means the stuff doesn't fall out while sitting. They are also big enough to hold an iPhone in a thick case. Since they are so deep the iPhone is well below the lowest picket opening so it won't fall out. The material is thin and light weight, great for travel, but not for rough outdoor activities but then they are designed for more causal wear. I think the fit is perfect and articulates nicely without feeling tight or bunching. my biggest wish was a larger color selection. I don't buy black clothes since they show every smudge, dirt, animal hair etc so I'm limited in just getting one pair of these pants (have carbide - not sure I like tamarisk). A lighter gray would get a nice addition.

Very comfortable, lightweight, and well-made pants - the cut, fit, and features are all top-notch. Although the cut is "trim", they are not restrictive at all. Suitable for a wide range of casual uses from light hiking and fishing to out on the town to casual office wear. Would not use for heavy-duty activities, but they are't designed for that. Would love to see a cool-weather version exactly the same but in a heavier/sturdier fabric.

I bought these pants primarily for travel in warm climates. The zip pockets are perfect for safely storing small items such as cell phones. The light fabric and articulated knees make them extremely comfortable with no binding when it gets hot and sticky. I have worn the Stowe Pants in Greece for day excursions. Then for supper on the cruise ship you can make them work (depending on your standards of formality) by matching with a sports jacket. These pants have also been to the Carribean a number of times and performed better than expected. Bird droppings transferred from outdoor restaurant chairs were fairly easy to spot remove with a damp cloth. I have been happy with the product and just ordered the Stowe Shorts.

Best pants I ever owned! I had to wait until they came into stock but it was well worth it. Amazingly constructed and light too, these trousers as the bees knees! Don't hesitate if you're thinking of buying!

I LOVE them. So does my girlfriend. They make the rear end look good. Nuff said about that. They are PERFECT for summer because they are so thin and light - they stay very cool. I was going to buy a second pair, but alas! they are out of stock. For sure, I will buy another pair when I can. I wear a size 36 and it fits very well. I am 6'2" with a 37" waist and a 34" inseam. Zippers are good quality and the fit is slim. Love them.

These pants are worth every dollar. I hate having pants that seem to be baggy or lose, but arcteryx's did a great job making these fitted. They're are extremely comfortable and breathable. I consider myself a very active person and I have worn them backpacking, rock climbing and shooting. The only cons is there's not a lot of storage space but the two zippers on both side of the pants seem to be enough for now. GO out and buy a pair!

The Stowe Pant is a lightweight pair of pants with a pleasing fit and silhouette. The gnosis colourway is great and the cargo pockets are low profile and functional. Pricing isn't outrageous either so that's nice. What I don't like about the pants are, as some other reviews mentioned, the snap button closure for the waist isn't the most secure. A traditional button closure would have been much better. The mesh lining for the pockets also isn't the greatest. When I pull items from my pockets, the mesh lining pulls out too for some reason. Not sure how it'll hold up to medium to hard use over time but am excited to see.

Very comfortable, lightweight, dry very quickly. I'm a big fan of the pocket layout. Only wish they'd be maybe an inch longer.

This is my second pair, these are a bit slimmer on the thighs than the previous version. I like them for the cargo pockets and how light they are for warm weather. The slim fit and stretchy fabric make these pants really comfortable. They are nice enough to wear to work too.
