I got this hoody in April as a light layer for climbing but it's quickly become one of my go to pieces for anything. I've used it for multi-pitch, sport, gym climbing, hiking and biking. It's a perfect piece for high output activity when it's windy/cold. However, I find it's also nice for running errands around town going in and out of buildings.

My favourite mid-layer. This layer is functional in a wide range of temperatures due to its breathability. It can be easily paired with different base layers for comfortable running in the winter or make a great ski touring layer for going up or down.

Got this hoody to keep in my pack hiking when the mornings are still chilly or if things cool down at lunch stops. Great for everyday use also. Have used it cycling as well and loved the ability to button down the hood so it doesn't act like a mini sail. Standard trim Arc fit (a touch bit trimmer than the atom lt) but I got my regular size and it works with my wider hips and small waist. Low profile hemline and pockets under a backpack or a climbing harness if that's your jam. You won't miss the lack of insulation in the hood or sleeves and what insulation it does offer in the body is perfect for summer and shoulder season weather. Stylish and clean design as always.

Love the Gamma LT jacket! This is a lighter version of the Gamma and is a great combo of water proof, rip proof and lightly insulating that makes it a great go to for most outdoor adventures if the weather is iffy and you're planning to scrap up against things. Also love this color.

This has been my go-to jacket since getting it! I have been through a heat wave, rain and some light hail between places in California and Oregon and this has kept me warm and dry. I love how the end of the sleeves have a curve to them so it helps keep your hands warmer than a usual sleeve that's cut off straight across. The pockets are huge and fit a lot. While the jacket is water resistant it is so breathable and flexible. I am a between a size XS and S with Arc'teryx and I went with the Small as it seems a bit more trim around the waste compared to other jackets. Sometimes I forget it has a hood because the material is so light but the hood gives great coverage! I could see myself wearing this on cooler summer evenings and on active hikes in colder weather.

I ordered this jacket last year but was in between sizes so couldn't keep it. This year the revised fit works perfectly for me. The colors are beautiful and this will be my goto jacket for spring and summer. Fits perfectly under an Atom LT or Gamma MX on colder days. Love it!

This is one of my fave go to jackets for outdoor adventures. I love the fit - close fitting so it does not flap and is good for layering but yet it allows freedom of movement due to the stretch material in all the right places. I am normally a M but I chose a S so it is closer fitting.

This hoody / jacket went from being something that I never knew about, to never leaving my side. Living in the ever-changing climate of the Bay Area, this hoody covers me in all conditions... if it is a cold, windy evening it keeps me warm... or if it's a calm, sunny day it doesn't feel like too much. I love this jacket and it stays by my side forever now.

Hesitated for years to buy this, couldn't think where it would excel over the MX in poor weather and the Squamish at all other times (except rain obviously).. I now think it is the best softshell I have ever owned. Had it out in over 20 days, in all winter weather, ice climbing and mountaineering.
Fit is spot-on, long cut stays put in my harness and covers really low in the back. The hood is amazing over a helmet, and the stiffer fabric keeps the hood in place and there is no flapping about anywhere in the jacket.
Due to the breathability and the allowance of some wind to get through, I can wear this with a medium/light weight fleece, for a 2 hour slog in, a 6 hour climb up, and a 3 hour walk back out; layering over with a Atom gilet or the Nuclei FL - I can't do that with anything else without overheating or getting too cold. Wearing an Atom under would defeat the purpose I think; paired with a traditional fleece, this is the best combo I have ever worn.
The only thing worth mentioning is that due to the well shaped and fitted cuff having no adjustment, and for ice-climbing only: I need to wear a longer glove/gauntlet to stop debris going down my sleeve... but these sleeves are long and there is zero movement with arms lifted, so it is a minor issue even with short gloves.
I am 185cm, 80kg and the medium is perfect, it is definitely trim, but a Large would probably bellow on me and obscure my harness.
The Fluidity colour is great and looks bright and eye-catching. This is now my first choice for absolutely everything, non-rain, except maybe hot summer alpine .

I wear this jacket alone or under a LT atom on colder days. It's light and packable, but still warm. It's so versatile! I use it year round, in the mountains and in the city. It still looks new! I love this jacket.

Ok, I've had more than a few days out with this bad boy. This is hands down the best hiking jacket I've ever worn. Mostly uphills in anywhere from 500-4500 vert. It sheds sweat like no other (I run hot), yet is surprisingly warm and wind proof. It will keep you comfortable in temps 20-30 degrees with movement. I did a 5 hour tour in it last week in those general temps, and was comfy the whole time until the end of the tour w a fast cold downhill, in which I busted out my Atom LT for some layering insulation for the last half hour. Quite the combo indeed. Haven't climbed rock or ice w it yet, but I'm sure it always has a spot in my quiver for those activities.
If you live in drier conditions IE Wasatch backcountry, desert, and intercontinental mountains with no worries of precip with wind, this amazing jacket will treat you nicely. Skinning/hiking in not bitter cold temps with a single base layer top under the Gamma LT does the trick for me. Quite impressive.
I'm 6 foot 170 lbs currently, and medium fits amazing.

This jacket is everything I never knew I was looking for and now I'll never leave home without it. It's lightweight (not heavy or hot), easily packable, breathable and perfect for hiking, trail running, biking, climbing, or just staying protected from the wind and rain. It can be worn with a simple base layer in warmer weather climates or I'd probably pair with the Atom in cooler weather conditions. Love the hand pockets for easy access to my phone or snacks while hiking. You will not be disappointed with this jacket. Thinking about getting another one in a different color!

I have two, one in an xs and another in s for when I need layering. I wear them ALL the time. I have different jackets but since I bought these I mainly wear them. Worn for everyday wear and also for trail running and hiking.

The zippers! May sound small, but this jacket has the smoothest zippers of any soft shell jacket I have ever owned. When wearing a pack or harness it makes a difference to not be struggling with the main or pocket zippers. The side pockets are also at the right height to be easily accessible. Everything else about it is good as expected: very breathable and a good amount of stretch. Perfect layer.

Great versatile lightweight soft-shell. used it for hiking, running, football training you name it hasn't felt out of place once. Good in light showers but worth bringing a totally waterproof shell if you're expecting heavy rain because after a while it gives in. Not complaining though.

This has been an incredible jacket for a wide range of activities in all seasons. It's never in the wardrobe as I wear it so often! Light insulation and wind protection combined with stretch and breathability have made this the most comfortable jacket to use during activity. Sleeve cuff detail of being slightly longer on the back of the hand is a highly thought-out component that I love as well!

This jacket is a new layer to me, I have had a couple of the Atom LT Hoodys and love them, and am now realizing that this will be an essential layering piece as well! I havent taken it off since I got it. It is so lightweight and packable! It's as comfortable as a sweater /sweatshirt. So far I have worn it during high output activities such as running and mountain biking. I have also used it as a layer hiking, putting a larger down jacket over it once I got to the top of the peak! The fleece side panels allow for movement, comfort and breathability and the synthetic insulation has kept me warm from the cold fall wind. I think this will be the perfect piece to wear uphill on the skin track this winter!

I bought this last year and it quickly became my go to active warmth layer. More breathable then the Atom LT when you're active, but without the fleece side panels that let in cold, so a better balance of warmth when you need it. Love the outer fabric, strong but also soft.

Perfectly placed pockets, great balance of trim fit with room for a synthetic later or smaller and breathability. This jacket really has it all. I switch into my Gamma SL for a lighter outer layer.

I have an old atom sl from a few years back and i feel this new version is longer in the torso and thicker as well. I use my jacket for cooler temp activities such as winter running and xc-skiing. Light weight but warm enough for aerobic winter activities and breathes well. Enigma is an awesome color.
