Very nice looking shoe with a very poor tongue design. It runs a little small so I exchanged it for a larger size. I wore it on the elliptical and was happy with it until I decided to wear it on a trip. The tongue dug into my skin even over socks. I tried bending it over but it would not stay down. The material is stiff and the edge sharp. I doubt anyone tested this shoe during design. It works on the elliptical because you are not lifting your feet but the are impossible to wear for walking. a serious disappointment for the price. They are worn otherwise I would send them back. First time I ever have a problem with Vionic, it's pretty much all I have worn since being diagnosed with a heel spur.

All the reviews said order one full size up. Well I ordered a 10 (I usually wear a 9) and they were too long. The shoes have nice heel support but did not feel very supportive elsewhere. I will try a 9½.

For Vionic very disappointing. Very uncomfortable shoe. No padding in ball of foot, and the tongue was very stiff. I will try the walker, hope it is better.

I was really disappointed when these arrived because they are just so ugly. They fit fine, but like other reviewers noted, the tongue is very uncomfortable. I usually love Vionic shoes but these are awful.

Really disappointed by these shoes. They are cute and the fit is good, but they rub strangely on the toes and have no arch support. I love Vionic's sandals and slippers so I had high hopes that these would be good every day shoes for me. I have high arches, and have had a lot of trouble with plantar fasciitis and these are not providing the support I had hoped for.

As others mentioned, the tongue the shoe is very tough and digs into your ankle. It is also a difficult shoe to slip into since the sides are so soft. I own many other Vionic pairs but this one is a miss because of the poorly designed tongue.

This is a cute shoe and surprisingly stylish. I'm returning it because the arch support feels a little off with my foot -- the shoe's arch is farther back than my foot's arch and it feels off. I was surprised because I have a Vionic flip-flop that is AWESOME! I was sad to send these back.

The tongue on the shoe is extremely hard and uncomfortable. That is unfortunate because it takes away from these otherwise rather comfortable and good looking shoes. Note, the arch support seems rather high so they may be uncomfortable if not used to such extreme arch support. I was advised to go up a size. They seemed to fit more true to size on my size 10.

This shoe fit good but the tongue was too high and not soft. It dug into the skin. Also the shoe comes up high on the ankle.

These shoes were a huge disappointment because I absolutely love the way they looked - exactly what I was looking for, except for the lack of support. I have had other Vionics and loved the support (that I really need). These shoes, though, had a lack of arch support. It is like there was a gap/valley of support in between the heel and toe. If you are getting these shoes because of the arch support do not bother, you will just have to send them back.

Tongue of shoe is too stiff and rubs on front of ankle, even folding it down was irritating.

I purchased these from Zappos in the same size as my others. I did not like the fit as it seemed big, but the insole did not fit the shoe. I should have sent them back but I had to wear them in Disneyworld and didn't know that the insole was too small for the shoe so it was too late to send them back because I had to wear them.

These sneakers are very stretchy, no side support. I overpronated. Vionic flip flops offer more support, I have 3 pairs, love them. I have very flat feet.

Horrible! Has a plastic younger gouging into the front of my ankles. Laces won't stay tied wth? I've owned a lot of Vionics but do not buy these!!!

Material very stiff - especially the tongue of the shoe.

I don't normally order shoes online but I have worn Vionic before so I ordered this style in black. Per the instructions that came with the shoes, I started wearing for short periods of time. They were not comfortable from the first time and have not improved with subsequent trial periods. I feel I have just thrown away the money and am very disappointed. I even tried changing the insoles with other custom orthotic insoles but this didn't help. It shows two stars for comfort but I tried to change to "0" stars but didn't get it to work. I would not recommend this item.
