These provide excellent arch and heel support. I did need half a size larger than what I usually order from Ortho heel. These sneakers make me feel young.

These are comfortable shoes, but I do have one minor complaint and that is that the top portion of the tongue flap is too stiff and needs to be softened. I was able to do that myself to some extent but it should come that way. Otherwise this is a great shoe.

The shoe is cute and I would have kept it except it didn't provide as much support as the Vionic slipper. If only I could wear the Vionic slipper to work.

Like so many other reviewers, I suffer from plantar fasciitis. It has gotten to the point that if I go on a 2-mile walk in my Brooks, I hobble for the next 3 days. Our home has ceramic tile on the entire main floor, and the school where I work has thin tile over concrete. Walking these floors has not exactly helped my poor feet. I heard about Vionics from some colleagues and ordered these. I have wide, flat feet that are generally hard to fit, but these get such great reviews that I felt OK ordering online without trying them on in real life first. I ordered a 7 wide and they arrived the next day. The good? They are extremely comfortable and supportive. The "fabric" is stretchy and not confining in any way, which is amazing! They are cute (even my fashion-conscious 10th grader liked them). Some people mentioned a stiff tongue but Vionic must have redesigned it because it is very soft and flexible. Usually when I put tennies on, my feet immediately feel "trapped", like I cannot wait to take the shoes off! These shoes felt wonderful from the first moment I put them on. All this being said, I had to send them back. I really need a 7.5 wide, and they are, unfortunately, sold out in all colors in this size. They are perfect while I am sitting, but as soon as I stand up, my toes are at the very end of the shoes. Additionally, while there is plenty of padding and the shoes are wonderfully supportive and comfortable, I could feel the grout lines in our 12" tiles through the shoes. Since I live on a gravel road and typically walk a couple miles every day on that gravel, I wouldn't be able to wear these for their intended purpose. I am off to buy a different style of Vionic athletic shoes in a size that works better for me. Honestly, if there was a 7.5W in stock, I would just exchange these and use them as indoor shoes- they are that comfortable. No pain at all while walking around my house for 4 hours! Usually if I take half an hour to vacuum, I pay for it. Give these a shot- they have a lot of positives!

There is a flaw in the seam of the shoe, at the toe. It hurt my toes as I walked. Also, at the sides of the shoe, there prominent spots that poke out where the corners of the tongue meet. I was willing to overlook those, but the two issues combined are too much. I am returning these shoes.

I've been searching for "cute" tennies for a while that would give me the support I needed. Love these shoes. Vionic fits well and gives support needed.

I am a big vionic fan but comfort can vary with the type of shoe. These are very light weight and they have good heal support. I will need to add more arch support for days that I do a lot of walking. They are not old lady looking which is a plus for me!

The shoe is very light weight and comfortable. It has excellent arch support which I was looking for.

These are a little tighter feeling than other sneakers I have but I believe that is because of the neoprene tongue. I love the way they look and they are quite comfortable to wear. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and over pronation issues. My feet still hurt a bit while wearing these, but I am never without foot pain.

Love the look of this shoe, but the W is too wide in the arch support area and the medium width is too narrow in the toe box. I want to love them, but they're just not quite right for my feet.

This was a really cute, comfortable shoe - and it would have been perfect if the tongue wasn't so stiff and harsh. It digs in uncomfortably and I couldn't figure out a good way to keep it folded down, so I sent the shoe back.

This shoe would be great but the tongue is so stiff n come to high on my ankle.

The support was good, the colors were pretty and diverse enough for any wardrobe, it was breathable, the foot bed felt good, the sole was good and cushiony, HOWEVER that tongue is the worse thing ever.

Loved this shoe with the exception of in trying to put on, even with laces loosened considerably, the back top kept rolling down inside the shoe. I have impaired mobility in my back which made straightening this issue out, tiresome. Otherwise, wonderful shoe with a small quirk I can't live with. Became frustrated.

I really like the look of the shoe however there is no support on the sides of the feet. The arch support is there but your foot may roll from side to side. I also washed the shoes after a muddy trip to Yosemite and the material cinched in beyond repair. I would hand wash if needed.

Nice shoe, but not enough arch support compared to vionic sandals. Also the toe box was too narrow for my foot.

These are very comfortable shoes and fit well. But the laces simply do not stay tied, even if double knotted. They are almost round and the fabric is to slippery. I will be about half way into my walk and have to stop to retie my shoes. I will be looking for replacement laces.

Color and fit overall are great! The stiff tongue material bit into the top of my foot within 5 minutes of trying on. Vionic: change the tongue to padded /soft material and you have an overall winner. I am not going to create a work around for a $100 pair of shoes.

Love vionic brand but sole is very thin for walking distance

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are really cute, love the colors. I normally need to order a wide in most shoes, and I just recently had to ship back a different Vionic shoe that I ordered in Medium because it was too tight. I also might need to put my custom orthotics into these, so I ordered a wide width. Well they are too big. I just can't win. The shoe is attractive, and has plenty of cushioning in the heel, however they are extremely thin. This might be great in the summer, but combined with the too-wide cut, they just didn't support my foot at all. I'm not sure where the comments about a stiff tongue below came from, because the tongue in my pair was extremely thin, almost like rubber. there was no padding in the shoe or the tongue at all, another strike against the shoe. I had to return them.

Really cute shoe. Felt a half size smaller than marked. Although I ordered wide, they pressed on my little toe because the stretchy fabric ended and the plastic was near my toe.

The problem with the tongue has not been fixed. Very stiff and digs into your foot. I also agree the arch support is too far back.

Not as comfortable as other vionic athletic shoes I've worn. Not as wide either. The shoe forces my foot forward making it uncomfortable on my toes. Very light though.

I love Vionics, but how did the designer miss that awful stiff tongue on this shoe???? Hit's in a spot that would no doubt cause me grief--even with a heavy sock it's that stiff and has zero padding. Afraid this shoe misses the mark solely because of this so am returning. To bad because otherwise the shoe is quite comfortable. Went for the Vionic Walker which is awesome but sadly doesn't have much cuteness factor.
