Very comfortable. The foot bed is good for arch support and shock absorbing. I can spend all day in these and my feet are fine. My podiatrist recommends Merrills. I am 55 and have to baby my small narrow feet. The design has minimal leather & fabric so they do not look orthopedic or clunky.

I love these sandals. I am glad that they brought back this style. I like that it hold the big toe and your feet do not slip forward. These are awesome sandals and this is is my fourth pair. Good quality, the last two pairs lasted for four years before I wore them out!

I bought a pair of similar sandals about 5 or 6 years ago and I love them (still have them), but they're wearing out and until now Merrell had not reissued the style. But now they have! They are truly wonderful shoes -- I've worn the first pair (they're not exactly alike, but really close) all over the world and hope to do the same with these.

I've been looking for a replacement for my favorite Merrill sandals for the past few years. You discontinued Stella Bloom and made a lot of people unhappy. I had about given up hope when I decided to try Terran. It took a while to get all of the straps adjusted and I thought at first I wouldn't be able to wear them. Once the straps were adjusted correctly, I've been wearing them almost every day. They aren't as stylish as Stella Bloom. The straps, especially across the top of the foot, are a bit bulky. However, they are very comfortable and attractive enough for casual wear.

I wanted a "utility" sandal but my Keens are pretty bulky. These fit the bill perfectly! They look and fit great. The only thing on my wish list would be the option to tighten ALL of the straps. Also - I have thicker (?) feet - and these are more of a "dainty" fit. BUT - didn't make my foot like a big foot shoved in a tiny sandal.

These were exactly what I was looking for: comfortable, minimal, good support, and would look great with skirts and shorts... except that the ankle strap is ridiculously short!! The strap that is supposed to hook onto the velcro strip on the side of the shoe is a good 2 inches short of reaching the velcro. It comes to the top of my foot rather than to the side of my foot. It's a serious design flaw. Considering taking them to a cobbler to have the velcro moved, but hate to do that since these were rather expensive :-(

I would like another pair of the exact same shoes. I've been wearing Merrell's for years and these were just not up to the quality I'm used to. There were threads hanging out, but more importantly I could feel the velcro on the inside of the right shoe.

These shoes hurt my feet. The removable heel strap rubs in all the wrong places--adjusting the strap doesn't help. Arch support is ok, but this sandal is not worth the price.

I first ordered size 9, but had to return those and get the next size up. The response time was amazing from the Merrell Chat online. The originals were a fraction too small, technically I need the half size but only whole sizes are available. Although too small originally, when I put this sandal on it was instant comfort. Even the part that goes between the toes was unnoticeable. Now that I have the 10's and have been wearing them for a week I am in love! I have reoccuring plantar fasciitis and Merrells are the only thing I have found that don't hurt my feet and help relieve some of the pain.

Very comfortable sandal; perfect balance of good support and cushioning. Have done decent amount of walking in them so far and no rubbing or discomfort at all. Only downside is I’m not sure if you can get them wet. Will wear these a lot.

Thank you too the designers! Best sandals ever. Feels like bear:) feet, but with nice arch suport and no interference with my bunions. My mom has had bunion surgery and this is the only one that doesn't bother her. I bought 2 pairs for each of us...before they decide not to make it anymore...hahaha

I buy a pair of these sandals every year and I wear them daily. I still have all the pairs I've purchased and try to wear the last year's purchase for camping and kayaking. I only wish I could wear them year-round in Ohio!

I absolutely love these shoes! This is my second pair. I've had my first pair for a few years.
I took my first pair to Europe three summers ago..... and we walked "many many miles per day!"
They are a very supportive shoe. I have a medium to high arch. Last year though they finally gave up the ghost. I wanted to get a new pair before they changed the style.
