These were way too narrow

I have worn Vionic's Orthoheels for years. I have worn out several pairs. I have noticed lately that the quality has gone down hill. The Samoa is no exception. The straps are FLIMSY. I saw a different style of Vionic's in a store the other day and the straps were FLIMSY. The straps on my older pairs of Vionic are a lot heavier. I think the straps play a large role in supporting your feet in the shoe. I have worn the Samoa around the house on several occasions. The straps felt like they were paper thin and did not add much support to my feet. Sadly, I will be sending the shoe back.

This sandal is very wide--even for my wide foot with its bunions. I ordered my usual size, 9.5 W and it was huge. I might have tried a smaller size but I wasn't crazy about the studs and the shiny straps.

These sandals are so cute BUT there is something on the toe band, stitching (?) (on both sandals) that rubbed my big toes raw! AND I only wore them to walk from my kitchen to my bedroom, twice, had to return

I had to return thes because the smell of the materials was awful.

I would have loved these if not for all the sparkle studs. Too much. They hide that you are even wearing blue sandals! Come on Vionic - make more shoes that are so flashy or wild that I can't wear them to work!!

My baby toe quite a problem. The strap across the front does not work with my foot. Guess I have to quit looking at similar shoes with one strap across toe area.

This is a really wide shoe, not only in the straps but the sole as well.

These run HUGE! there was over an inch beyond my toes!!

Terrible walking shoes. My foot slips sideways and back. They are good if you want a house shoe.

I originally reviewed these right after I bought and had been wearing only for a few days. I gave them very high marks and ordered more in different colors. But I used one pair all the time for slippers around the house and another pair began my go-to pair for errands. Well, my opinion has changed. First off, my feet never smell but in these they reek (and so do the shoes). I've tried my two never fails for sneakers and other shoes to keep them fresh: cedar inserts and Zero Odor and no joy, these stink to high heaven. To the point where I actually did NOT wear them to a movie because the seats recline and I didn't want the person in front of me smelling my stinky shoes. Also, the shoe...wore down I guess is the best way to put it They aren't leather so they aren't stretching out like leather would, but my feet started to roll, my plantar fasciitis is now acting up to the point where I have a heel spur again (I didn't when I started wearing them), and the footbed feels sort of...slimy. It's disgusting. I threw the two pairs I was wearing the most out. The other two are going to charity (which is super mean in a way). I was wearing them exclusively because at first they felt so good but I'm going back to my Naots.

Wide and very comfortable but cheap looking. My friend said, "Walmart."

Look good and felt good on...until I spent time walking in them for a awhile. Something is funky with the footbed. While my vionic flip flops are hugely comfy and supportive these particular vionics make my feet ache HORRIBLY. For up to two days after I wear them even. Absolutely a waste of every overpriced penny they cost. Wish I had not bought them. Would Zero Star them if I could.

I am a "perfect" size 7 1.2, European 38. The Samoa is very good looking and has excellent arch support. Sadly, the 7 was too small and the 8 too large. The 7 was fine in length but the straps were not long enough to tighten appropriately. The 8 had good strap length but was WAY too long. When my heel was in the heel cup and my arch positioned over the arch support there was a good inch of shoe beyond my toes! Why, oh why would a comfort shoe not come in half sizes. I am quite disappointed since the arch support and heel cup were both so good.
