Narrow toe box in the EE and I still overpronate in them if I don't put my orthotics in them. If I remember correctly the Gts 15 had a wider toe box which is why I ordered this model - disappointing

I hope the Brooks company is reading all these reviews as well because they sure have changed their wonderful shoes. They are now making them hard and not comfortable at all and the styles that are comfortable are no longer available. I understand that styles are continually changing but why can't they still keep the other styles available. Anyway it's not zappos fault that i have to keep returning the shoes, their service is great but i just need to quit ordering Brooks shoes.

This shoe is super cute, but beware. It's built very small. I usually wear an 8 1/2 - returned that one and with a 9 wide my toe is still stuffed into the shoe. They are also short in the top of the shoe. Just poorly designed I guess. Cute but super small.

They don't feel the same as the GTS 14. The 15 and 16 are too cramped in the toe box and have a weird padding right under the ball of my foot that creates pain. Sent back!

There seems to be a wad of fabric where the tongue is sewn to the top of the shoe that presses on the top of my foot. I didn't like them. I've been wearing Brooks for at least 12 years. Too bad!

This shoe was made so cheap that the rubber soles on the side are coming away from the shoe...so much I've had to cut them off because they keep getting caught on the carpet and I keep tripping. I would think paying this much for a pair of shoes, they would last longer than 2 months...I would only wear them to the gym and doing any athletic type/cardio type of activity, which is about 4 days a week. Ridiculous. Need to find a new brand to buy.

I have had all the Adrenalines before but my feet could not get used to this version. There is something off with the support on my left foot, the arch hit in wrong spot. Like the 15 before still sort of short but widened forefront.

I usually wear Brooks' Glycerin style, but unfavorable changes in them led me to try new styles within the brand. I did not care for the look much, but if they'd fit well I'd have kept them as I can't seem to find any tennis shoes that fit well as of late. I ordered these in my usual size, 8.5, but had to get a 9 instead (measuring these to my Glycerins proved they were shorter). Both sizes of these had the same issues - those decorative strips on top of the mesh in the toe area are not flexible enough and they cause the shoe to bend harshly and very uncomfortably. On my left foot especially it pinched my pinky and fourth toes painfully. And because the toe box is terribly narrow, my toes were pressed upon the outside edge.

I have 3 pair of Adrenaline GTS15 sneakers size 8D (needed for bunions). I love them. This GTS16 is not as wide and not enough height on the ankle which cause slip off...totally disappointed.

The #15 version of these shoes fit me great, but this version, #16, has a more narrow tapered toe, so there is less room in the toe box. I am returning them.

I ordered this in my actual size as well as half a size larger and both are too tight! I normally wear Brooks with no issues and can run in them right out of the box. For these, I could not even wear them around my living room. This is too bad because I really like the color (blue and pink). Brooks can tend to have gaudy or boring color themes, so I was excited to find one I liked. I love Brooks and will keep trying with another model.

I have wide feet and loved the GTS 14 in 6M right out of the box. I tried the GTS 15 last year and they had completely changed the length/width to the point that I could not find one to fit, so I kept running in my 14 and waited for the GTS 16. Good news: finally colors I actually like (Silver/Bluebird/Blue Tint). Bad news: still can't find a size to match the old GTS 14. After trying these in 5½EE, 6M, 6D, 6EE, 6½M and 6½D I have concluded that Brooks has made the toe box shallower, changed the lengths to the degree that none of those 6 different sizes are the same length as the old 6M, the inserts now have no arch support at all. So I gave up and found a new pair of 14 online (thank you, InterWebs!). Hopefully Brooks will revert the 17 to their old sizing; otherwise, once these 14 wear out, I am going to have to find a new brand.

Not happy with these the bottoms are coming apart . Wish I could return them , I usually keep my shoes for years before I switch and I have only had them a few months

I have worn the Brooks Adrenaline GTS model for the past 10+ years and they have really changed this model. It doesn't fit like it used to. I am so disappointed. Hopefully they re-work this shoe for the next model. The plastic mesh is awful. The toe box is large even when I get the narrow shoe. Shipping back and going to have to try a new stability shoe.

Wow! This shoe has changed and not in a good way. There is a bump in the footbed that is most uncomfortable. Possibly it's supposed to be helpful in some way but for me it's just not working. Also very much more lightweight than previous versions and feels cheaper.

Shoes that I received had tight heel stitching that digs into your Achilles. I didn't bother to walk in these... waiting for GTS 17 to come out.

I love the way these shoes look but honestly they were cutting my feet on the outside right where the toes bend. they were not at all comfortable. :(

My comments are very much in line with previous reviews. I have been wearing Adrenaline GTS for >10 years without issue. This new version does not fit the same way - the heel is sloped too aggressively- as though your walking in heels. I've tested them running and walking - and my back hurts in both cases. I hope that Brooks gets to read these reviews - this used to be a great shoe. Why mess with success?

My first pair of Brooks were the Adrenaline 15. I didn't bother to read any reviews and never thought that they were change so much in a shoes between models. I sent theses back immediately. Unfortunately it was too late to stockpile on the 15s. I was very disappointed with the 16s. I miss my 15s!

I ordered a full size larger than my measurement - unfortunately, the Adrenaline GTS 16 was still too short. I liked the weight, feel and look so have ordered an exchange at 2 sizes larger than my normal size. Thank you Zappos for the superb customer service and the free return/exchange policies.

This is the second pair of Brooks, a little different style. The first pair my feet loved them but, this pair makes my feet hurt. I've worn them about 6 times for my morning walk and it is not getting better. The insole seems to be much harder then my first pair. Bottom line is I am sorry I made this purchase. Would love to hear if you have a return period if a product does not work out.

I love the support and comfort of these shoes. They are the only thing that lets me continue to work retail for over 45 hours with Achilles tendinitis in one foot and plantar fasciitis in the other. No other shoes compare for me. Even with the slight changes to the shoe each year, they are great. Comfort and style get five stars. Overall is one star because after one week of wearing them, the separated segments of the sole are coming loose one by one. This is not Zappos' fault. I love Zappos. It is Brook's quality issue. This seems to be a worse issue with the 16 versus previous years.

In March, I bought these for my daughter who has severely flat feet and wears orthotics. She wore them to school, indoor lacrosse and cross country and loved how comfortable they are. Unfortunately, she broke her foot and was in a boot for a month. During that time, she only wore one shoe, and I just noticed that the bottom of that one is peeling away from the sole in two places. She wasn't even running during that month! So, the shoe basically lasted 3 months. For kids who are growing so fast, I've never had a shoe outlast my need to replace it because of size. At this price, it is appalling that these fall apart so easily.
