I have never had the layers of rubber split and come apart in any athletic shoe in my 64 years. I bought this shoe as a "15" and have had it only about 4 maths and the rubber is coming apart on both shoes. I called Brooks and they said it is normal for this to happen. They have lost buy business!!!!!

Shoes did not last long at all before they started falling apart. They also felt bigger than my previous pair of Brooks.

These shoes I purchased and broke in only to find that they were too tight on the top of my foot. I felt very restricted and uncomfortable. I can only wear them for about an hour or two. They are very attractive and I wish that they worked since Brooks is an American company. My previous Brooks were great!!

i have worn the 14's for years, and finally i have worn my last pair out.(My favorite milage shoe) So i decided to try the new version. I ordered 10.5 EW. Just like I have in past with the Ariel and Adrenaline. The shoe fit big on me and felt as if I had no support., so i sized down to 10 W. The shoe fit, but looked bulky, like the Ariel does but with less stability. I will try again on the sizing, hopefully i can get it right. Thank goodness for Zappos making exchanges and returns so easy. I love Zappos!

I kept them but they are not comfortable on the top of the shoe. Been wearing this model and its reincarnations for 5 yrs. This model is too heavy. Feels like an Asics shoe. I hate it, quite frankly. Not cushy enough and stiff. I fell in love with this model because it was supportive and light weight. Not so any longer. I hate to whine, but, well, if the shoe fits.....

I have been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for a few years now, and this is the first time I have had a negative experience with them. The GTS 16's are a little disappointing. The sole on one of my shoe's is peeling off, and I've only had them for about 4 months, and they are not the exclusive shoes I wear when working out. Seems like the quality of the shoe is lower than in past versions. I still have some GTS 14's for running around and they are still holding up great.

As others have noted, the toe box on this model seems cramped. My toes just aren't happy, so I must return these and try something else. Too bad; an earlier model was perfect.

I wear a 8EE and I have been wearing Adrenaline's for about 6 or 7 years. Some have been better than other but these are almost unwearable. My width is in my toes, but my heal is average so I struggle with New Balances for that reason. The 16's are tight across my toes and never have been before. I'm waiting for the 17's and hoping they will fit well again, if so I will be buying a few. If you have wide toes find something else.

Wide size runs narrow for a wide. Returning shoes. Love the colors and love Brooks, just not the fit.

This brand seems to run a little short compared to other brands. I purchased a pair two years ago, and they felt great at first, but after awhile, I realized that my little toes were getting crunched. I kept them. Decided to try again with a size larger, and they look and feel like the smaller size. Very disappointed, because I really like the light weight of this shoe.

These shoes are very wide. I have a narrow foot and ordered the 2A and my foot was swimming. Sent them back!

Never have i written a review but had to toe box too small I wore gts 13 before these are way too tight hurt toes. I order the same size I always wear I'm so disappointed!! Thought brooks would be my new shoe. Cost a lot for discomfort

14 was the best in feel and comfort 15 was just awful 16 is just a tad short. My big toe rubs against the toe box. I can only wear the 16 with very thin socks or no socks at all.

This shoe runs about 1/2 size small, yet the next 1/2 size up had my toe a full thumbs-width before the end of the shoe. Also, the toe box is too narrow, tho' I have pretty narrow feet.

For years I have worn these Brooks adrenaline shoes and been very pleased. However, this pair is much different in the toe box. Can't help but wonder why a change was made to something that was so successful? As a result, I am now searching for another comfortable shoe.

Purchased a D (wide) width in my normal 7.5 size. Too short--my toes hit the end. Too narrow as well. Brooks only offers 1 color for wide widths. This color would have been okay if it weren't for the shiny plastic trim. It looks so cheap and blingy. Wish Brooks would get rid of this. However, I found the support quite good for me.

This sneaker is very stiff, more like a trail shoe. I got them for walking but the soles do not have the cushioning. The left was bigger than the right, the wide width did not seem roomy.

The only problem that I had with these are the soles. I work out on a padded mat floor, the tread of the shoe basically ripped completely off. I called Zappos and they immediately sent out a new pair, hoping that it was just a fluke with the first pair, it was unfortunately not the case. Both pairs, the treads came completely off, throwing off the angle of my feet, gait, etc. I have had many pairs of Brooks shoes, I love them! I am just not a fan of the new design! I absolutely love Zappos and their customer service, as well as Brooks shoes, as I have flat feet, and over pronate severely. It is just these shoes with the soles as they are, they just are not conducive to working out on a padded floor!

These are way too tight across the top of the foot. Ouch! I have flat feet and even with the foot bed out and my orthotics in they were way too tight.

I have worn Brooks for years! The Adrenaline 16 is the most uncomfortable Brooks shoe I have ever worn. I loved my past Adrenaline Shoes. Unfortunately, I threw away the box. I just assumed it would fit as well as past Brooks shoes. What was I thinking? Wish I would have stockpiled others.

A little narrow in the toe box so I may have to return them- great support though with my orthtotics , I tried them without the orthotics but I overpronated on my bad foot

I am an overpronator who needs stability and cushioning. These Brooks Adrenaline 16's are okay. The whole length of the shoe felt stiff, like I was walking on a board. Hardly any flex in the shoe at all. I normally rave over Brooks, they're one of my favorite running shoe brands, but sadly I can't see myself running in these. Additionally, the heel rubbed really bad and within 10 minutes of just walking in them, I could feel my skin blistering. I am returning these.

I'm a big fan of Brooks, I have a heavy heel strike, as well as being an ER nurse. I'm on my feet pounding concrete for 12 hours and they have always had good cushion and support. This pair feels significantly narrower in the toe-box, and is uncomfortably pinching my pinky toe all night! This is only my second shift wearing them, I'm hoping they will stretch a little, but I'm a bit displeased, and sore, at the moment.
