I love my new Merrell Siren Edges. I have worn Merrells before, so I knew about sizing. Mostly I loved that I ordered on Sunday, and they were on my porch on Monday! Thanks, Zappos.

Merrell is my go-to shoe for hiking/street walking shoes. I have Morton's neuroma and need a wider toe box than on most shoes. This Merrell shoe is very sleek, looked great, but alas! It didn't have wider toe box I require. So I am returning this shoe in favor of the Merrell Siren Sport. LOVE, LOVE Zappos! I need to walk in my shoes before deciding. Zaps allows me to do that within my house. No hassles ever on returns. I won't shop anywhere else!

Shoes feel great. True to size. I've NEVER gone wrong ordering from Zappos. This company is excellent. Fast shipments and free returns. What more can you ask for?

Comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I bought them early for a trip thinking that they would take time to break in, but they were great right away. Good support- and very good looking.

I need to wear a narrow to avoid twisting my ankles and a good narrow fit is so hard to find. Even though these are a medium width they fit me perfectly. Thank you Merrell, now I have hiking shoes that fit!

Super comfortable, very light but with good support!

These are very comfortable and fit my narrow heal, but the color is not what I expected.

These are the most comfortable and lightweight Merrell shoes I’ve had yet. I can walk forever in these. The sole is cushioned enough, but still firm enough to give excellent support. I bought a pair about a year ago and got these as a second pair. The first ones are still in good shape, but I’m not too hard on my shoes. My ONLY complaint is that the coating on the toe is very thin and can scuff easily. That coating has also cracked along the area where it meets the outer sole. However, it does not affect the function of the shoe and really can’t see it unless you’re really looking closely. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5.

I feel I really like the shoe, great support and comfortable

I love the look of the shoe but it could have been a little narrower for my foot.

I have another pair of Merrells and in it I wear a 7.5 but this is more of a hiking shoe. These Merrells I needed an 8 since they were more like a fitted sneaker.

I love Merrell shoes, or should I say, I used to love Merrell shoes. These were the only shoes that appealed to me. I ordered 7.5 but I am sending back for an 8. The minute I put the shoes on, I knew the quality of Merrell is no longer what it used to be. Other reviews stated the same. Hope the 8 will fit. I need black tennis shoes for winter.

These squeak quite noticeably on indoor surfaces, but bought them for walking outside and will keep. Very comfortable and very lightweight.

The Siren Edge shoe fit true to size and has ample room on the toe box without looking wide. Arch support is moderate. The footbed is good without feeling like it throws your foot in a weird position as some other footbeds can. They are comfortable enough for all day but a little more cushioning would be awesome

Perfect. The first time I wore them was at a food drive where I was walking all day. Great support, zero break in period. I also have the Moab which is great for hiking in the woods and comfortable all year round.

Let me preface this that I have always had difficulty with athletic shoes fitting me since I was a kid. I was looking for a good walking shoe, love Merrells and these got great reviews. No arch support at all, but have removable insoles for orthotics. Unfortunately,I had my usual athletic shoe problem that they were too tight over the top of the shoe. Decent, but not great toe box room. I wear a 6.5 and they fit well with overall comfort and support. I'm sure they probably work for most people, but I am returning them.

Ordered these last minute for 2 week trip to Scotland. Pros - did very well right out of box very little break in and I had already tried 8-10 pairs over a 6 mo period before I landed these. Great light weight hiker for wet conditions Does not catch or rub ankle for all you trekkers. In extremely wet pouring rain will eventually seep thru but usually most of us are smart enough to go inside. I was caught In moderate rain with sleet and heavy winds and they did fine but heavy trekking for an hour they did become damp and it was minor inside but my wool socks did not allow cold feet! I had to switch out I soles from get go with a gel one as these have little inside padding or support once that was accomplished they were perfect. Pack easy and light weight. Good price point and they dry very fast Color is neutral and looks more like a tennis shoe so blends with khakis and outdoor hiking wear easily. Plenty of room in toebox and I would say average width Cons not for heavy hiking while carrying overnight packs but sufficient for day hikers Does not come with a great insole but easily remedied with an aftermarket one

Love the colors, great shape for my foot---long and narrow. a nice, light hiking shoe. like the deep grooves in the sole. liked the shape of the foot bed- seemed to provide good support. not sufficiently cushioned in the foot bed for my preferences. will sadly be sending them back.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I returned them, though because the Keens I ordered at the same time have better arch support.

Preferred the more subtle color combination. But now that i am living the cushioning of my Hoka One One Gaviota’s, Merrill’s, Asics, Brooks and Saucony (and so far the other styles of Hoka One One’s i’ve tried) don’t measure up. Hoka One One clearly doesn’t market to “old people.” The color combo i have is fine with colors of my work wear but other color combos, designs & huge logo are a turnoff for those of us who want/need something not as outlandish. It took me a bit to overcome the “clown feet,” but i need cushioned shoes for the sesamoids to work in. Unfortunately, colors & designs of most Hoka’s rule most of them out for work. Still, if i can find another pair of Hoka’s in exact color & style i have, rather buy another pair of those than to pad the Merrill’s, etc. So love the shoes but i need more cushioned padding.

They feel very comfortable and size run perfect

I loved these shoes, however one shoe bothered my arch. It felt like there was a seam, but there wasn’t one. Could’ve been a faulty shoe. The other shoe was perfect. Nice looking shoe, I was sad to have to return them.

This is the third pair of this hiking/walking shoe I have bought. I LOVE their support and stability and they break in immediately. However, I am picky about the color. The color is listed as aluminum; the picture looks like a medium gray and a light gray; however, it is medium gray and a light olive and a soft lime color--not really usuable for me, so I'm sending them back.

Comfortable right out of the box. Wore them around the house and forgot they were new shoes. Foot bed a little hard but room for a gel insoles. Wore most of my keens for many years , I hope Merrill’s hold up for a year or two.

I ordered a half-size smaller, as was recommended to me by Zappos, at the time of purchase. I didn't notice when walking on carpeted surfaces, when I first got them that they would wind up being too snug for my foot. Ironically, it's only my right foot which is a slightly larger than my left. I took my first outside walk, pretty confident, that they would feel better and I'd adjust. Sadly, not so much! I could really feel the snugness and wished I had ordered my normal size and wished I hadn't worn them outside and returned them for next half size up. It's hard to get a good feel when breaking in for a short period of time, inside. Anybody want to buy these from me? ;-) They're a gorgeous shoe!
