I have been looking to replace the now defunct Avian Lights that I love so thought I'd give these a try based on the reviews. They are comfortable and fit well, so far they fit the bill. I ordered my regular size 7.5 and they are fine. Plenty of room in the toe box and as another reviewer mentioned the heel doesn't slip. I have narrower heels that are not considered narrow enough for a narrow size. I'd recommend these sneakers.

I have spent lots of money on shoes trying to find the one that helps the pain on my heels, knee and back. I just return from a week long youth camp and my knee did bother me!! My heels just a little, and I think it's normal, but not the pain I use to have, I love my shoes!!!

These shoes are very comfortable. A nice stiff sole (which I like) and good support. I usually switch out the insole with an arch support but didn't need to do that with these. I think they are pretty cute for this type of shoe. I immediately bought another pair!

This is my first pair of Merrell shoes and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have had, probably ever. They provide firm support, especially at the arch, and they look great! I feel tempted to wear these everywhere. I bought the light gray pair but returned them for black instead; I plan to be outside a lot this summer so a darker color seemed like the better choice. I like the material and have no doubts it will hold up well in any kind of weather. The first time I wore them they felt a tad stiff but since then these shoes feel like they were custom made for my feet. Very happy with this purchase.

I went for a walk right out of the box! The fit is perfect. The comfort and support are perfect for my warm weather rambles. The color is a fine neutral that works with lighter summer colors. I am so happy that I am thinking about buying a second pair just in case this model is retired too soon. Thank you, Merrell!!

Fabulous shoe. I've owned multiple pairs of Siren Sport II and this fits even better and is more comfortable. I like that the sole doesn't extend beyond the shoe but still provides lots of support. Plenty of room in the toe box, but hugs my narrow heel. I just ordered another color.

Pros: 1. used at the gym on the treadmill for interval training. Flexible and comfortable. 2. used for hiking. Took these shoes overseas for hiking and traveling around the city. Wore them for hours without foot fatigue or any discomfort! Great looking shoe without the ' I'm headed to the gym' look. 3. just bought another pair in another color with a generous Zappos coupon - thank you. 4. I wear the Merrell Pace Glove for my dragon boat racing. Also great shoe! Cons: 1. Wish my budget would allow me to buy more.

Love my new Merrell Tennis shoes. They fit true to size and feel comfortable immediately. I have worn them in the house for several days to make sure they don't bother my feet - no problems so I'm happy. Love the grey and blue also. This is my first pair of Merrell shoes but certainly not my last.

I love this shoe! So functional for me because I need a hiking shoe that's not horrible looking so that I can wear it around the city. Runs true to size; I wear a 9.5 and it fits perfectly. Can't really go wrong with Merrell!

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Scotland. I don't want to wear plain old sneakers in the rugged Highlands so I purchased the Merrell Siren Edge. They're very lightweight, comfortable and stylish and they run true to size. Lots of room to wiggle your toes because the toe box is round not pointed! Very comfortable shoe!

I ordered these for our active trip to New Zealand. They were very comfortable from the first wear for walks in nature. The toe box is comfortable with no rubbing.

My unexpectedly favorite shoe. It fits my foot like a glove - high instep, more than regular/less than wide width. I have added my own insole and there is room to accommodate. I bought this for hiking on easier trails, but I ended up slogging thru decomposed granite and they gave me traction. If they always make these, I will always buy them.

I bought these for my trip to Seattle. I knew that I wanted to do some hiking on Mt. Rainier but wasn't sure what kind of hiking shoe to buy. I knew Merrell was a respected brand within the hiking world, so I read the reviews and decided to purchase these shoes. I had no idea what to expect from this shoe. Since it's still covered with 10 ft. of snow, my hike ended up being a snowshoe adventure up Mt. Rainier. I was worried that my shoes wouldn't hold up during the hike. There's nothing worse than soggy shoes/socks. I'm not sure if these shoes are waterproof but they did an AMAZING job keeping my feet warm and dry during the hike. I didn't break these shoes in and didn't feel an ounce of discomfort during the hike. After snowshoeing through Mt. Rainier, we did some other hikes in the lower part of the mountain where snowshoes weren't necessary. I felt confident with the traction these shoes provided. We went up some pretty steep hills and my feet didn't slip once. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who's in the market for hiking shoes. Although, if you're planning on snowshoeing, I would suggest a hiking boot.

LOVE! These shoes are so lightweight & comfortable but have great support. My feet are difficult to fit-I have a normal size width but narrow heels and I like a larger toe box. My biggest issue is typically that the heel slips-not a problem with these shoes. Most comfortable shoe I've tried in a long time (and I've tried many). Highly recommend!

Bought these primarily to use whole hiking in Costa Rica. These shoes kept me comfortable all day while providing excellent grip on several kinds of terrain. I didn't slip at all on slick zip line platforms, on steep, and gravel/ dirt trails, and throughout my travels. These shoes dried quickly, weren't too hot, and provided enough support for my low arches. I purchased the red color, looks like more of a hot pink in person. I'm tempted to use these all the time!

The Siren Edge worn with my orthotics are very comfortable and supportive - just what I was looking for. These feel a little softer under foot than my last Merrell hikers which I like.

I bought these for our upcoming trip to Italy. I was a bit nervous about just wearing regular sneakers on the trails in cinque terre and so decided on the Merrell hikers. They seem like they should be perfect for the job. They are very lightweight and super comfortable, not to mention still stylish. I'm hoping they won't disappoint me. They do run pretty true to size, I normally wear an 8 and that's what I ordered. There is a little bit of room in the toe box area, which seems slightly wider than most sneakers but not too bad.

I love this shoe and it was comfortable out of the box. I was skeptical that some reviewers said it made their feet look smaller, but have found this to be true (always a plus when you wear a 9 1/2). It is relatively light weight and makes walking/hiking enjoyable.

After purchasing the gray (great color contrasting with blue), for play, I turned around and ordered the black for work. Whether sight seeing on cement or beating the brush, the comfortable fit and stability is what impressed me first. So to support me on my feet 8 hours a day, I knew a second pair was a done deal! Merrell has always pleased me from the supportive footbed, as well as the the great designs and colors. If I decide it's not too indulgent, I might order a red pair!

I have been wearing several styles of Merrell shoes for years. I just received this shoe, and I cannot believe how fantastic it is. Great for walking, lightweight, fits very well, and a lot of support. I'm going to order another color!

I don't know why I ever even try other shoes - I always go back to Merrells. These shoes are perfect - well, almost perfect - I did end up putting a thin insert in them, because the insole was a tiny bit too hard for me.

I have always had issues with buying shoes as I have narrow feet and ankles. When I tried this shoe in store, I was hopeful that these will continue to fit well on the trail. The next day, I went hiking with them (5 miles or so), they continued to fit well. I have continued to wear them on hikes without any issues. I would say this is the best hiking shoe I have bought and owned!
