Orthotic wearers these are great!! !I wear long orthotics, and it is very hard to find shoes that accommodate them. This sneaker has ample toe space and length that the orthotics work in this shoe. They are comfortable and light enough to wear in the summer without my feet getting too hot. The design is cute helps to make my long feet look smaller.

I tried this show in a 10 1/2 and 11. Neither one of them fit right. The toe box seems narrower than my Merrell Siren shoes I've worn and loved for years. In so many ways they're just not comfortable even after wearing them around the house quite a bit. I had two pairs in a row that I swore by and now I think I'm done with them. Really disappointed

My extra long second toes and ball of foot pain are well accommodated these shoes. I like the greater flexibility, softer foot bed, and comfy support in this style. First time on, my feet said "AHHHH". They feel great and no break in time needed. As a long time Merrell wearer I highly recommend these for walking, light hiking, travel and in town. Also, customer service was spectacular when there was a glitch in returning other items in the same order. Go Zappos!

I have foot and back weakness and these shoes are probably the best fit for supporting my feet and back I've ever felt. Merrell has made the shoe so comfortable. Better than a any brand of supportive sneaker, these are my new favorites.

I bought these shoes to wear on excursions I am taking on a cruise around the British Isles. They have just enough arch support without being overly padded and outsole is structured so that I will be able to walk on centuries old paths on my trip. I also liked the color pattern - with the blend of black, blue and grey with a pop of orange, they will go with everything I am taking with me. Highly recommend!!!

This is a lovely shoe but not up to Merrell Standards. It is lightweight but leaves little suppport or cushion to the front of your foot. I do have foot pain but can work around it with a good shoe. This one did not help. FYI.

These shoes were great for our hiking trip! I usually wear a 7, but in these I was a 6.5.

These are great shoes, very comfortable & stylish for a tennis shoe. However, the color in the pictures is deceiving, because I am looking for more of a dark charcoal-black shoe, and these are bluish-purple. I'm returning them for possibly another color option. I am returning for sizing, too, because I'm between a 7 and 7 1/2 and ordered the 7 1/2 but need to go down to a 7. Definitely will reorder this, but just need to decide on color.

Good lightweight hiking shoe, the sizing is accurate. They are very breathable and the traction on the soles is excellent. They are not waterproof and do get wet when walking in wet grass in the AM, but they dry out very quickly. I walked through a creek with them and they dried out the next day and didn't seem any worse for wear. So if you need waterproof these are not it, but they are an excellent summer hiking shoe! And for a reasonable price.

As an avid rock climber I spend my weekends hiking into canyons in order to get to good climbing. These shoes hold up to the rugged terrain I have to hike in order to get to my destination. They are comfortable out of the box, They are not waterproof but I have other shoes for that purpose. These are great, comfortable shoes for the approach and for dinner after in town.

Very pleased with this shoe. Merrell is well known for high quality fitness shoes but this particular shoe was recommended as excellent for helping with pain from plantar's fasciitis, which I have in my left foot. I have high arches and I'm an underpronator. These are comfortable, sturdy, and provide pain relief. I got them in blue and will probably buy two more pair in other colors.

I have had other Merrell shoes similar to these and love the comfort and support. I wear an orthotic under the removal insert and it fits just fine. With very narrow heels I find they hung my foot with out my foot slipping with each step. Hard to find walking shoes for a narrow foot.

Great Hiking Shoe! The grips on the sole really help prevent me from slipping on the terrain. Very comfortable!

Great shoe! This is my first hiking shoe and I cannot believe how comfortable it is. I always thought of hiking shoes as heavy, bulky and unsightly. These are light and attractive! I will be purchasing Merrell again in the future! I ordered my regular 7 and a 6 1/2 as well and decided to go with the half size down as it felt a little more secure and still gave me plenty of room.

These could use an extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch in the toe box length but they feel pretty good with good support, so I'm keeping them. Colors are good.

These are probably my most favorite shoes EVER. I'm seriously considering getting a second pair (or third!) in a different color. Surprisingly light, but great support, fits like a chamois glove. Heaven on the feet. Can't believe how good they feel. 5 stars all around!

THE PERFECT HIKING SHOE! I bought these after returning a very heavy hiking boot, these shoes are stylish, lightweight, and yet tough enough for rough rocky hikes! I broke them in yesterday with a 5 mile hike in the mountains and my feet weren't sore at all at the end. Comfortable right out of the box!

I have these shoes in both the Black/Purple and Aluminum colors. They fit well and give great support. The colors on the Aluminum are subtle enough that I can wear them to work, where athletic shoes are not in the dress code, and still look fairly professional while being kind to me feet.

My daughter LOVES these. So I made the purchase as well. I love Merrell shoes in general and own many . But this one just hit at a weird place on my arch and I knew it would cause fatigue in short order and make a hike miserable for me! So, back they go. Purchased the Ahnu Sugarpine and love it.

I fell in love with the look of this shoe first. I was looking for a lighter weight hiking shoe to take on a 12 day hiking trip to Utah. Last year I had a heavier shoe that just didn't work out as well. The Siren Edge fit the bill. We hiked over 80 miles in 6 different National Parks. So we encountered all sorts of different terrain. I will say, if you are going to be on any sort of slick rock these will turn you into spider man! The Vibram sole on the bottom grips tight and you won't slip on the decent down the slick rock trails. It was awesome! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about them. Every day I put them on and they felt great and I was ready to hit the trails again.

Great shoes... nice looking, lightweight and very comfortable right out of the box. Bought mine for warm weather hiking. Always appreciate the ease of shopping with Zappos!

Love these shoes!!! I have been dealing with plantar problems for a year and three months - this time. I've had this flare up twice prior to this. Since I am in my 60's it seems to be more difficult to get under control. When I put these shoes on the heel cup was so supportive and seemed to offer more support than I've had from other shoes. I love the look of this shoe as well as the fit. I definitely recommend these for a go to shoe.
