I have been wearing Ryka shoes for about 15 years now VERY loyally and the last two pairs I have purchased have not been up to the same standards. I am disappointed in the recent quality. It's like Ryka has changed manufacturers. The ball of the foot cushioning is not good at all. Usually this product is great for dance and aerobics but I am not finding this to be the case sadly.

Wore these once for zumba. They seem to have good support, but even though I ordered the 7 1/2 wide they are too narrow and hurt my feet. Unfortunately they will be going back. I have ordered one other pair of Rykas in a 7 1/2 wide and they fit fine.

Shoe was very light weight and offered no real support. Just too skimpy feeling for my needs and comfort. Seemed ok otherwise. Just not the right shoe for me.

They were very cushy and comfortable, and the fit was great. They were unfortunately very sticky- they felt like regular trainers despite the spin spot. There is no way I could do any sort of dance fitness in them, it’d tweak my knees way too much.

I am returning these shoes. The toe box was way too large. Although I did like the snug comfortable fit of the heel. Good arch support. The material is very cheap feeling and looking and one of the stripes dug into the side of my foot when taking a step. There is almost no padding under the toe. Disappointed! I'm going back to my Asics.

Loved the style of the shoe. However, I ordered the wide width and this shoe not only hurt my feet, but my ankles as well. I am returning these for a refund.

I ordered these shoes because several of my instructor friends love them. For me, they just are not cushioned enough after a recent bout with tendonitis in my ankle, and my physical therapist recommended that I go with something that has more cushion in the bottom and better arch support. I also notice my feet sweat when I wear them for several hours. I do love the pivot point on the bottom, but they are going to become my practice shoe so that I can wear a more cushioned shoe while teaching. I recently ordered the Devotion Plus, and those have much more cushion. I know some people really like these, but if you are looking for cushion, these may not work for a high-impact workout.

The shoe is too long for my foot and it feels like I'm wearing clown shoes when I put them on.

It's like walking on rocks. I considered attempting to add an insole for comfort, but I have never had to do that before with Ryka shoes. These are so uncomfortable! Very firm bottom.. I do not feel the normal supreme bouncy comfort that is Ryka. I am shocked at the positive reviews. Very misleading. I would never recommend this particular shoe.

I have worn Rykas for years and have always been satisfied. These are the absolute most uncomfortable sneakers ever made in the history of sneaker making. They are unwearable and unbearable.

They are not comfortable at all. There is no toe room. I even put a different insole in and that didn't help.

I wasn't a fan. The fabric of the shoe is weirdly plastic-like. Overall it felt stiff and uncomfortable. I usually wear reebok nano's for cross training and was trying something new. These are being returned and the quest for a nano alternative continues.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok, Saucony, Brooks

I purchased these shoes, again, after realizing that I had once before years earlier. I should have returned them, but life got busy, and now what I ordered to be my Jazzercise shoes, are now casual every day shoes. They don't hold up over time because they aren't made to do so. I also am disappointed that the cool design is simply for appearances, and actually doesn't add anything to the function of the shoe. I work out with a Jazzercise that advertises these shoes, and aparently they only do so, because of a contract saying they would, not because they actually believe these shoes are the best. After this last purchase I realized that NONE of the instructors that teach the exercises classes in the studio I attend wear these shoes. I wish I would have paid attention sooner.

I purchased these sneakers because it was described as a dance sneaker. I planned on using it for a cardio dance class. I expected it to have a smooth finish on the sole to make it easier to spin on a wood floor. The sole was not smooth at all.

I want so much to like Ryk shoes and have tried several times as so many in my Jazzercise class recommend them. But have have short fat feet and they just aren't comfortable on my feet. Bummer

Less than two months of wearing, the inside of the back of the heel area on both shoes were ripped. What a disappointment on the brand.

Cute sneakers . I was hoping to use them to teach fitness classes but they were just too heavy and stiff for me
I'd also recommend:

I have same shoes from a few years ago in a size 8, so I ordered the same size. These sneakers were to small. I had to send them back.

I was truly disappointed. I loved my previous Rykas.. I use them for Zumba. There is NO support for your feet. the quality of the shoe is also well below that of my prior Rykas.
