I bought these for high impact Jazzercise classes. They are cute shoes but lack the cushioning for high impact jumping.

Put them on for a workout as soon as they arrived. So happy with these new sneakers!

Great sneakers! I have been wearing Ryka sneakers for 11 years for Jazzersize! They are wonderful sneakers!

These are cute and stylish. I bought the white with silver and it really shines. My one complaint is that they are too narrow. I have regular width feet and have had several other Rykas with no issues. These are quite uncomfortable and squeeze the sides of my feet too much. Wish they fit like the rest of their shoes.

I dont knowcwhats hapoening but last 2 pairs of Rykas I have purchased have been sub-par. 1st pair completely unwearable could feel every part of the tracks of the sole. Figured just a fluke so just bought another pair. Little over 1 week of wear the right shoe heal has collapsed on out side of heal. I am done. Very dissapointed. Of course lost papperwork so out the cost of 2 pairs of shoes. Ughh

The shoe is too narrow for my foot. I always wear a medium width, but this shoe is uncomfortably narrow.

I've had several pairs of Ryka shoes over the years but these seem cheaply constructed. The sole is supposed to have a pivot point on the ball of the foot area for turning in dance classes, as stated on the description of the shoe. But they allow turning no better than a running shoe or ordinary trainer. Disappointed.

No support, disappointed. I can wear for bike rides, wouldn't plan to walk far in these.

While it is true that there is a lot to like about these shoes ... the heel lock, the perfect arch support and nice solid not cushioned feel ... the toe box is a complete failure. Don't bill yourselves as selling something that is anatomically correct and then sell a shoe that has a toe box that does two things completely wrong! The toe box tapers to a point too quickly and the volume tapers off to the sides too quickly. I wanted to love these but my big toes weighed in just as quickly and they are still mad at me for even trying them on. Big toes do not naturally curve in and they are taller than the rest of ones toes. These shoes are bunions waiting to happen. You can do better!

They run small. I'm exchanging them for a size larger. These are too short. I think they'll be great for Jazzercise when I find the right size. Too bad I couldn't find these locally to try them on.

I bought these for Zumba and they are very uncomfortable. Besides being very hard, like walking on cement, I feel like there is little bend in the sole when I walk. Worse tennis shoe I've ever bought. The shoe runs slightly narrow in the toe bed and big in the heel.

I was disappointed with the shoes structure and fit. I'm very active and participate in Jazzercise 5-6 days/week. After wearing a week, I had numerous blisters, and was frequently tripping due to uneven and odd texture of the sole. The width of the heel of the shoe is much to large. My foot was constantly sliding around inside the shoe, to the side and front and back. I tied the shoes as tight as I could, but then that created discomfort as my foot would still slide and the arch support was then pressing on the in front or behind the inside of my arch. The shoe also did not have the flexibility to point or flex my foot. But the colors are fun and the for mundane walking, the shoes are very comfortable and supportive. But if you need to articulate precise, sharp movements, this is not the right shoe style.

I absolutely loved these shoes when I unboxed them. They look nice, and were super comfortable. However, they run pretty small, which was disappointing. I ordered a size 11 (the largest size they make) and they were way too small. The bottoms of the shoes felt so comfortable that I briefly considered keeping them, but they really just didn’t fit well. I wish they made a larger size because I was sad to send them back!

Run a little small and not as comfortable as my last pair of Ryka. If I had tried these on in a store I would not have purchased them. Due to shipping delays they arrived the day I left for a trip. By then it would have been a hassle to return.

Cute, but not the kind of support, stability, and cushioning of Nike and New Balance. Returned and was delivered over a week ago, but still haven't received my refund.

I hoped that these would be good for dancing. For me they are too tiff and the sole does not slide or pivot on a wood floor. It was suggested that I go with an 8.5. It's too big. Returning.

The fit and look were great, but there was no detectable arch support. Instead, there was a bump on the outside of my foot which would be uncomfortable over time. Cute and well sized but not for someone who needs arch support.

Does not turn well for cardio dance. I don’t recommend for dance, even though it’s advertised for dance.

The shoe has a very good look, but on the inside, in the instep area, it has an internal seam that bothers when walking.

I have been buying Ryka Devotion athletic shoes for years. I read several reviews ranking Ryka Influence shoes among the top ten shoes for aerobics, so I thought I would give them a try. I have worn them for about six weeks. Within the first week, I developed plantar fasciitis. I started using orthotics, thinking that would help. It does not. I have to stop using these shoes. I spoke with two other women in my Jazzercise class who both purchased the Ryka Influence women's athletics shoes, and they BOTH developed plantar fasciitis and stopped using the shoes. I am going back to Ryka Devotion. The Ryka Influence are narrower in the heel, and that provides great support. My toes do not ride forward and hit the front of the shoe, which is really good. I think the problem is that there is not support for an individual's arch or heel for high impact aerobics. There is not enough cushion. This causes too much stress and creates the potential for plantar fasciitis. I should note that I have never had plantar fasciitis before--I believe it is completely the result of these shoes. Additionally, there is too much traction--these shoes are noisy and squeaky on the floor, and they are "sticky" making it very hard to pivot or slide on the floor.

I have been wearing these shoes for the day to break them in. I am finding them to be extremely uncomfortable, as there is zero cushioning in them. It feels like I am walking on wood blocks. I have contacted the company in hopes they would be willing to work with me on returning them.

I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day. When I first put these shoes on, they felt fine, but by around the middle of the day my feet were beginning to hurt. By the end of the day my feet and my back ached. Because I had worn them all day I couldn't return them, so I tried to wear them a second day hoping that something would change. This time, by the middle of the day I had to sit while working with patients because my back ached so much. I was in agony by the end of the day. These may be good zumba shoes but they are horrible to wear for a full day of work.

I was swayed by the reviews for this shoe, but as a health care worker on my feet all day, these shoes did not provide the support I needed at work. My feet hurt and my back aching. I tried them a couple more times in hopes that I could "break them in". Instead my body felt broken. Not recommended for people who need good support.
