I'm impressed with its build quality and durability. Are there companion bags available for this item? I notice a strap fitting on the top of the bag. I'd like to buy a companion bag (smaller) and I need the companion strap as well.

I had bought (and returned) several similar products but I am definitely keeping my combination of rolling tote + backpack because of their design, lightness and durable materials

As I begin my new career as a flight attendant, this is the perfect suitcase for all of my travel needs!

High quality is apparent in both look and feel. Many compartments for clothing and other accessories for a short trip. The wheels are also very sturdy and smooth rolling. This was my first Travelpro purchase, and it wont be the last.

I travel at least twice per month for 3-4 days each trip. Work attire is business casual, and I can get all the clothes plus sneakers, etc. I need in this bag. I could push the limits and put my computer in the mid-pocket as well if necessary (but I don't). With this bag and a backpack (for my computer gear, extra space) I don't have to worry about checking a bag at the gate because this bag fits even the older Delta CRJ700 small overhead bins - therefore, I don't have to wait for my bag in the jetway upon arrival or making connections. I have a similar size travelpro "computer" bag which was very deep, heId only 1-2 days of clothes, and has many pockets for computer and files and pens/etc which I have now replaced with this bag. I bought this over two months ago used it many times already, and I don't feel that the construction is flimsy. I put my heavy backpack on the handle with no issue at all. It is not the same grade as the pilot and crew travelpro gear. The only improvement I would make is if there was a way to increase the size and still have it fit in the old CRJ700 overhead bins and change the inside pattern to traditional gray. I don't like the crew 11 because there is no "front" zip pocket like the maxlite and the crew 11 front pocket is setup for pens/pencils, etc... which I never use.

A very strong light weight suitcase, perfect for traveling

We just got back from our ten day European vacation and our new suitcases were perfect. They were the perfect size, color, were very durable and also lightweight. We loved them so much we're going to buy the carry on size next. Highly recommend!

This luggage is surprisingly lightweight for it's size. It has a nice flip-out section for securing longer articles of clothing. A new feature I've not been experienced on my older luggage is a built-in locking mechanism that eliminates the need for keeping up with a luggage lock. A portion of the zipper actually slips into a small slot on the side and has a 3 number combination. I find this to be a very convenient addition as I tend to swap locks back and forth with my current luggage. My only recommendation would be to add the 2 additional wheels and make this case a spinner. This isn't a huge inconvenience as the case is very light but it would make it a little easier to navigate as you travel from terminal to terminal.

I received the Global Carry-On Crew Expert Bag about 2 weeks before a planned 3 day trip across the country. The bag is well built, has sturdy zippers, has an excellent storage spot for my laptop, additional zippered areas I used for printed files and paperwork, and still had ample room for my clothes and accessories. When walking city streets through constructions zones from public transportation to my hotel and back, the wheels worked flawlessly, even through soft dirt. The only issue I have is that the clothing storage area is slightly less than the Travelpro Carry-On Suiter that I normally use, but at least I didn't need a separate bag for my laptop this time.

This bag is the perfect size to use as an computer bag. When I travel I need to take a portable printer and scanner with me as well as documents. This bag is the perfect size for that usage. I have already made 2 trips with the bag and it worked well.

This suitcase is great for my short trips. Its construction is solid. The wheels are sturdy and protected / recessed enough to minimize the chance of damage if the bag is checked at an airport. This was a big concern of mine after having a wheel torn off another suitcase, which spurred me to purchase this one.

Maxlite 5 has an additional pocket than version 4. It was the major problem of version 4. For me actual version it is the best carry-on tote for 1 or 2 working days.

I have only had this for a month but it has already withstood far more than my other suitcases could handle, as I am a flight attendant. It's much lighter than other rollers and is balanced beautifully. I only wish I could take advantage of all its wonderful pockets but I fly in regional planes and it won't fit in the bins if any exterior pockets are used. I still can't get it to fit in the CRJ200 but I'm told I just need to put it in another way. I still don't think it will fit because of the wheel base. I'm looking forward to traveling with it for leisure and utilizing the bag to its fullest!

I bought this for my parents for Christmas. They were thrilled to receive. They love that it has a hard exterior and the ease of how it maneuvered on wheels.

For a short trip, this is a product. It is easy to pack things and to walk around with. Glad I brought this.

I have an older version of this tote, and I love it! I can fit all of my personal items, my tech, and a change of clothes in it for a quick getaway. It's lightweight, rolls beautifully and is easy to put in an overhead compartment, if I want to do that. I can't always say that, since I'm short -- anything heavy is too much for me to lift that far.

I've traveled all over the world with TravelPro - best luggage ever!!! Very lightweight and durable.

Pros: Lightweight, well made, sturdy wheels, good size for weekender, telescoping handle is long enough for tall people, stacking strap is convenient for both stacking or using on a hook, convenient bottom finger pocket for carrying it while open. Cons: Handle zip flap is unnecessary, outside pocket not protective enough for a laptop, needs an interior strap to secure contents. I included a photo with the tote packed for a weekend trip (all in one): 2 pairs of pants, 3 tops, 1 pair of shorts, under garments/socks, swimsuit, sandals, flip flops, umbrella, toiletries, hard cover book. I also included a photo to show it as my 2nd piece of carry on using the stacking strap on my hook, packing (not shown) my DSLR camera and accessories, snacks, my purse and a sweater. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

As a Flight Attendant, this will be my first purchase and opportunity to get a feel for weight, durability and flexiblity. My initial surprise is one (light weight) bag fits everything! Compact Carry on, long front pocket that can double as a laptop sleeve, multiple inside pockets and fold-out suit section.

This little nugget is a must have for all travelers. With the cost of checked bags, and now even for carry-on items this is the perfect bag to have. It fits easily under the seat and so no more worries finding overhead storage space, incurring extra costs or lost luggage. This bag is roomy enough for everything I need while on business trips and weekend getaways! I love the quality, ease of use and especially the style of this piece. I am very proud rolling around the airport with the Maxlite 5 Toto while wearing my crew 2 executive backpack.
