Originally bought these in my normal Levi size 26, but came in a little baggy. I exchanged for a 25 and although they fit a little snug, they fit overall better then the 26. When ordering these shorts you have to know what style you're looking for. For a high waisted fitted look, I suggest going down one size. But if you want more of a mid rise boyfriend fit, I suggest sticking to your regular size or ordering one size up. All and all they are a classic short for any closet.

I loved these shorts so much that I bought them in 3 colors! I've been looking for a good pair of high waisted "vintage looking" denim shorts for years and never found a pair that fit quite right. These are a little roomy in the waist but overall fit really nicely. They aren't fully high rise, but it actually makes them more versatile. While I read about sizing up and down all over the Internet, I stuck to my normal 28 which is perfect. I will say that since they're 100% cotton, they aren't the most comfortable shorts if you're used to stretchy denim.

They do tend to loosen up after wearing them. I have a size 25 in the lighter color, but just ordered a 24 in the darker shade. Fits perfectly and got it on sale! Glad I bought them before the prices went back up! They are my all-time favorite shorts. Not too short and not too high waisted either. Just right!

These are really cute cutoff shorts. I wanted a medium blue faded pair of cutoff shorts without a price tag, and these fit the bill just wonderfully. They are medium rise and have a feminine fit to them, unlike a lot of the expensive brands that truly hang on your hips in boyish way. Don't get me wrong, I like that other type too, but Levi's is a good old tried and true brand that's always cool and I'm happy with this purchase.

This style is not flattering for someone with fit/thicker thighs.. the front of the shorts are notably short and the back are a bit longer. Had the front of the shorts not been so short (almost looked like the were riding up abnormally) I would have liked them. They may look nicer on someone with skinner legs. Will be sending back

I wanted to love these so much, but found that they run small. I read the reviews prior to ordering for sizing guidance and most said they run TTS, but I didn't find that to be true. I think I will order a size up and hope for the best.

I love the shorts but they do not fit true to size. I normally wear a 25/26 in jeans and the 26 barely fit. Definitely recommend going a size up in these shorts.

Super cute shorts overall. I don't think they rise too high or too low. They fit true to size. They aren't the softest shorts, and they do smash your butt a little!

My favorite shorts to date! I sized up (got a 25) and the fit is comfortable and a bit loose - just how I like it! I purchased 2 colors and they will be in heavy rotation this spring/summer! Love!

I was looking for a pair of cut off shorts, and these seem to work perfectly. My only wish is that they weren't so high on the waist, but otherwise they are the perfect length. They are a really comfortable fabric which makes it worth it!

I honestly can't decide how I feel about them. The sizing is just weird. I bought my regulat sizr in 26 and these were way too tight so I decided to skip 27 and go straight to 28. The leg opening on the 28 fits great but the waist is loose. These shorts also don't feel stiff or quality like I'd expect from Levis. I will have to decide whether to keep or not.

rise was higher than expected and the shorts sat very strange on my hips as a result.

These fit great and are true to size. But when ordering I mistook the flower pedals for rips on the side. Just a little too mom jort for me.

Runs a little tight for a 30!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Length is good. I recommend a size up. Unless you are going for the bootie shorts look.

Great length and perfect summer wash. The rise was high on me (I am 5'0", 120 lbs, tried a 27 and 28). These unfortunately gave me a wedgie of mythic proportions AND flattened my butt. Returned!

I have to disagree with most of the other reviewers. These shorts ran SMALL on me, and did not fully cover my bottom. I am a 27 in my Levis 311 jeans, and went up to a 28 in these shorts and could barely button them comfortably. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs. I tried a 27 and 28 with no luck. A shame since the shorts are very cute but the fit was poor on me.
