These are surprisingly my favorite shorts to date...the waist height is surprisingly comfortable as i usually go for low waisted shorts/pants. These just look good. I did find it true to size. I wear a 25 usually and 25 fits really well. I wish they were maybe just an inch longer (because I'm 41), but it's not a deal breaker!

I ordered shorts in the Festival to Go wash, and they fit much shorter than other washes in the same size. I’d recommend sizing up!

For ref I am 5'2 105lbs & I ordered the 24 & they're a wee bit loose. If you like a looser look, the 24 is good for my frame size but I need a 23 & doesn't look like they come in that size anywhere on the internet. The 23 wouldn't be skin tight, it would just fit just right. Other than that, they're cute shorts.

These are way too small when compared to the same waist size in the Levi's® Womens Mid Length Shorts. They are also very short and distressed which makes them look trashy rather than sexy.

These fit good, but I don't like stretch in my denim so I opted for the 501 long short (100% cotton) which has the added bonus of being able to be cut to my desired inseam (not so so so short!). For reference I am 5'8", 27" waist, 37" hip and went with a size 25. A 24 would've for better in the waist, but I've got a lot of thigh/cheek, so a 25 gives me more comfort there!

Love the fit but they do run a tad small

I ordered these in "Love Thing" color, thinking they'd be white. They are actually a light blue. Picture and coloring is very misleading. I'll be exchanging for Lost Horizon and hoping those are white instead

For me the waist didn’t coincide with the butt and legs, too big in the waist. Also gave me flat butt unlike other Levi’s.

Meh... can t say I'm in love with this shorts. I'm 5,7 size 26 and 139lbs. I bought the 27 and I have a bit of a gap in the back and the front fits frompy, due to the stiff material. The color is also off. It looks like this is going back.

I purchased these hoping to replace another pair of Levi's cut offs that I have worn for many years, but these were just way too high waisted for me! I do not particularly like it when my shorts or pants come up to my belly button! I am sending them back!

I I have now had these for a couple of years. I love the length of the shorts. They wear well and sit just right. I like how they sit up high and I can wear a crop top without having a mid drift.

Might be my new favorite shorts. I've never liked high rise anything which I attribute to my thick waist. I'm slim- size 6- but there is no difference between my waist and hips so anything that hits at the waist feels tight on me. Low rise jeans and shorts tend to be the most comfortable on me but low rise cut-offs often do not make for a great look on rear-ends. Thought I would try these as I've worn Levi's successfully all my life but in the past felt like 501's sit too high. These are the "mid-rise" 501's which still hits right about my belly button (and if I didn't read the tag I would call them high-rise). They're short- the under cheek curve is just barely covered. They fit around my stomach without feeling tight, they aren't up so high that they feel like a girdle and they make my butt look AMAZING!!!! Winner!!! As with all Levis I did size up from a 28 to a 29 and they fit perfectly.

Great fit and comfortable. The unraveled seam on the one leg is a little odd, but I trimmed it to look more even.

I typically wear a 26 or 27 in Levi denim shorts but I sized up and ordered a 28. Large in waist but fits perfect in the hip and butt area. My absolute favorite pair of shorts. Recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit!

Love love love. They're a little short, but they aren't tight so I still feel comfortable in them. I usually wear a 2-4 and ordered a size 27 and I think they're perfect. Love the color too!

My favorite shorts. Definitely had to size up. I cut a slit on each side of the leg like some denim shorts have, just for a better and looser fit. I've purchased 3 pair.

Best shorts ever! Bought these in black and a blue jean color as well. They wear in well and are very flattering. One reviewer said they were super high waisted and I totally disagree. They are the perfect rise about 2 inches below my belly button. Good shorts are so hard to find! I recommend! I’m a 27 and these fit just like a normal 27 would.

I ordered the 'Festival Go To' color and I love them. They are a classic denim color and the material is nice and thick like vintage levis. I was concerned the frayed hem might be too much but I actually really like it. I wear a 26 in madewell, jcrew, and designer denim, ordered a 26 in these and theyre great - well fitted across the hip and the waistband fits nicely. I considered sizing up so they don't feel too tight in hot weather, but decided to stick with the 26 so they don't end up riding too low and being baggy in the crotch. Great purchase and great price. I like these more than other designer denim shorts I have. They are comfortable, iconic and flattering.
