I bought these for my 5 year old and love them so far, they are easy to take on and off with the velcro and the mid-high is a great fit for his feet. They give that look of a high top but not to bulky on his feet.

Great sneakers, I love the hook and loop feature, great for school. My 5 yr old loves them, they look great on him, and look cool with his uniform too. He wears a 2.5 in these and 1.5 in other sneakers so they may run small. I'd suggest you get the child's regular size and then exchange for smaller or bigger size if it doesn't fit. Zappos has excellent customer service, they sent me the bigger pair in next day air!

My son is rough on shoes like most kids, so I always look for blk shoes. He is a tip-toe walker so blk soles are great for him & high top gives him more support. Velcro is a plus & a must for us too.

They shoe itself is pretty but runs narrow and a tad bit small .. it claims to be glow in the dark which is not true a little disappointment for my boys but over it's a nice pair of shoes

Super cute and I love this style but the "little kids" sizing runs small whereas I found the toddler sizes (10 and under) to run true to size. Weird. Otherwise a great shoe.

I bought these shoes for my son. His feet are on the wider side and these shoes just barely fit him (width wise). If he didn't like them so much, I would have returned them. If you have narrow or regular width feet, this shoes will run true to size.
