This is a terrible kids shoe. Unlike other Vans my son has had, this one is already falling apart (he began wearing them in early January, and it is not even the end of the month). I would like Zappos to refund this purchase!

Bought this for my son at Christmas and they are already falling apart. Pretty disappointed in the quality of this shoe, he didn't even get back to school and the sole is separating from the fabric on the shoe and where the Velcro strap is also separated and ripped. Don't waste your money if your wanting to get any longevity from these shoes.

We just purchased and love them but my son wore them inside the house for only 3 hours, around the velcro straps we started to notice loose threading right away. Overall not the best quality and my six year old refuses to return them. I feel like I just put $45 dlls in a garbage can waste of money unfortunately.

It is so hard to find high-top style shoes with velcro, so we were really excited about these. We really loved these shoes when we got them, but within two weeks the fabric started to peel off of the velcro strap. I do not recommend buying these shoes.

Embrassed! I received a call from school nurse telling me to bring shoes that my son can wear. At 1st I did not understand her then she explained the sole had fallen off. A very flimsy shoe. I would NOT purchase another pair of VANs ever again.

Vans are not made the way they use to. After having them on for 8hrs the shoes gave out The velcro closure peeled off and metal ring on shoe became unglued. Cheap materials

Vans has really hit bottom. I purchased these shoes then 1st day of wear to school the velcro closure broke off and the strap began to peel.

These shoes started falling apart within 1 month of giving them to my 5 year old. The soles started splitting away on both feet. My son is no harder on his shoes than any other active kid his age, but even if he were I would be disappointed with shoes that started to fall apart in the first month. Has to be a manufacturing defect. I wear Vans, myself, and will most likely continue to do so, but I won't buy them for any of my children again. Zappos was great, so this review is no reflection on them, but Vans needs to try harder for this market.
