I love the jeans! They are so cute. The only concern with them is the thigh fits nicely but the waist is too big around. When I put the belt on it has too much extra material so it bunches. I will continue to wear them because they are great quality and I like them a lot, I just need to wear longer shirts to cover the waist. Also, just for extra information, there is no zipper, but buttons!

These are very short. The cuffs come rolled up; when unrolled, they are the length of petite jeans. The size does not correlate to other Levis jeans. I ordered a 414 at the same time and the 29 fits me in the 414. But this jean was too small in the thigh in a size 30. Your best bet is to order multiple sizes and keep the one that fits.

THREE CHEERS FOR 100% COTTON JEANS! I was so excited to find these online. However, they run super short. Inseam on a size 25 is just 26 1/2" (rolled out to full length). I'm 5'5", avg length legs; unrolled, these hit above the ankle. "Boyfriend" style fit is fine otherwise, very sorry I've got to send these back.

Cotton, button-fly, Levi's. I am so happy to have these. I'm 5'4", 145 lbs, usually wear an 8 or 10 in jeans. These Levi's in the 30W were way too loose; the 29W is good for a super casual-comfy look and will work well over a winter under-layer. I'll be ordering the 28W if/when it's back in stock for a more streamlined look.

I have been looking for a long time for a boyfriend jean that didn't do the 'saggy butt' thing, and were just the right combination of cut, comfort, fabric, and price tag. These are it. I would live in these if I could, and I kind of have the past few weeks since I got them. Washes and dries in the regular cycles no problem. I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs, and I got my regular size, the 29 waist with the 34 inseam. I also tried the 32 inseam, but it was too short--would have worked for a 'summer jean,' but I'm looking for year-round wearability. The way these work is that if you order your normal size, it should be a relaxed fit. Size 1-2 down for more of a skinny look, and up 1 for a baggy look. Morning Haze is by far the best color they have on Zappos or the Levi's site. I'm back to order down one size in the same size and color to see if I can get a more fitted look--because apparently when you find the perfect jeans, one is not enough! I am also a huge supporter of ethical fashion, and Levi's is making some good strides in the right direction. They're not as good as others ethically, but they're an industry leader and they're working towards doing better, and I hope it's worth supporting.

Unfortunately, quite a bit of the fabric bunches up in the crotch area. I suppose the zipper length is for a high-waisted jean, but the rest of the fit is to sit low on your hips. I was hoping for a pair of 501s, but the fit is not quite right, sadly had to return!

I am 32 years old, 5'6" and 130 pounds. These are fantastic! I ordered these after I went to France and saw all the women wearing relaxed fit jeans and Adidas sneakers. They are truly comfortable and they do not make me look large (as wearing bulkier clothing sometimes does). I like to pair them with a casual feminine shoe and top, to balance out the look. For the price, you cannot beat it!

These are great! They're classic, cute and inexpensive. How can you beat that, especially when they also fit well!

Great jeans. I don't know how long it's been since I've had 100% cotton jeans but from now on that's all I'm buying. I didn't notice how cheap feeling the jeans made with a blend of materials feel. These feel thick like they will last a long time and they're really comfortable. They don't have that tight yet falling down feeling of the stretch jeans. I am 5'4, 140 #s, and usually wear a size 8. I bought a 29W 32L and they fit just right.

I am over the moon with my new Levi's 501® Customized Tapered Jeans. I recently purchased not one, but FOUR pairs of jeans -- this pair included. The 3 pairs (2 from the women's department and 1 from the men's department), which I purchased from a department store, were all returned to that department store. I am thankful for Zappos because I didn't know where else to look. It is difficult being a tall woman with long legs to find jeans who is thin, but not emaciated looking. Some of the inseams are too short and even when they're not, most women's jeans "cut" me in the crotch area. They're designed for women 5'4" and under. I've had much good fortune with Levi's, but every pair I own are vintage. I've been wearing Levi's for over a decade and this is my first brand new pair. To say I am ecstatic with the fit of this style of Levi's is an understatement. I love shoes -- everything from sneakers of different styles, to flats, to athletic slides and even heels. These are jeans that can be worn with any shoe, top and/or jacket. They are such a versatile jean. I agree with one commenter who stated they are loose in the waist. I found that to be my experience. I could have ordered a size down (maybe 2), but I want a looser fit. I always wear a belt, so the additional room doesn't bother me. I didn't find them tight in the thighs, which is awesome, because my thighs are my least favorite part of my body. I am interested in seeing how these jeans hold up when washed. The material is thinner than the vintage styles, but for the price point, they are really good. I'm used to paying $200+ for jeans, which isn't really doable for me right now, so these are a nice alternative. I hope Zappos restocks because I will definitely order other pairs. My review is for the 'Limited Edition Blues'.

I have these in three colors and my favorite is the crate digger because it has no holes. I'm sure that will happen over time. I love the fit and i buy the extra long because i don't like baring my ankles. They fit my butt like a glove! 501s are the butt glove! Love them.

Pretty pumped about these jeans. Been wanting a more relaxed fit pair for a long time but couldn't find a pair that I liked or was worth the money. My sister directed me back to Levi's. Love the island azure color, very casual without being too faded. The denim is soft and giving (so comfy) without being too thin, I believe these will hold up. Fit has been tough as I'm 5'3" and pear shaped but these are great with minimal silly waist gap.

I love these jeans! They do run about 1.5 sizes too big and they don't have any stretch in them. The holes also tore bigger while I was wearing them, but it just adds to the greatness!

I love these jeans, this is my third page. The fit is so comfortable, I don't find the waist to be too high or too low. I plan on cutting the bottoms and letting them fray. Please note that these are stretch, I have other pairs that don't stretch and was initially disappointed when these arrived but now they are formed to my body and I love them.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these jeans. I loved them 20 years ago and was so happy to find cotton with button fly that fit a womans body. I am 5'4" 130 athletic curvy body with a but and thighs. The 27 fits comfortably without gaping at the waist. I would order down a size. These are loose on me relative to other size 27 jeans(7 for all mankind, cookie johnson). Be aware they do stretch out

These were the first pair of jeans I bought from Zappos and they fit perfect. So I figured I would try other styles since I liked these so much. WRONG! I realized after going through so many pairs and so many returns that the reason these fit so well was because they are Island Azure which has 1% elastic. Which is perfect! I don't care for stretch jeans with a lot of elastic because they bag out at the end of the day. But these are perfect at 1%. The only complaint I have is that for a 34 they do run short, at least on me. I am 5'8" and they are right below my ankles which is unusual. But I'm going to wear them as boyfriend jeans so it will be ok. Just wish they were a inch longer. It is so HARD for me to find jeans that fit so a little short well that's ok because I am extremely happy with the fit! Thank You Zappos!

Fantastic Jeans! They are comfort, stylish and heavy as I like, runs large, I'm usually wear 27 or 28 and they 26 fits me perfect! Thank you zappos for this jeans, I will buy it again.

Very baggy and to short..I was looking for more of a casual look but not that much. Also had a very hard time working the buttons on the fly.

I am 5’7”, 140 lbs. I ordered 30 x 34 they fit great. They are not tight or baggy. I have washed them twice the good news is they did not shrink. I have worn them with Converse shoes and Timberland boots. I have gotten lots of complements. My only complaint is that Zappos does not have other 501 colors in stock.
