Love these jeans! They run just a tad large but are supposed to...so I ordered accordingly. Love that they are all cotton.

These jeans very in fit according to the color. I brought this to Zappos' attention on more than one occasion, to no avail.
I own the Limited Edition Blues. Those are a very baggy fit. Mine are actually too large and I waited too late to exchange them because they ended up selling out. It's ok, because they're still cute. I don't mind a baggy jean. They are a nice wash, can be dressed up or down and they go with virtually anything top, jacket or shoe wise.
I later ordered the Black Coast jean. **WARNING** Black Coast IS NOT the same fit as Limited Edition Blues and should not share the same listing. Black Coast is a stretch jean. It is a smaller fit. They are stiff as a board, so it's hard to believe they have any stretch in them whatsoever. The color is a nice color and the style is otherwise cute, but the fit is not as generous as the Limited Edition Blues.
This is a warning to the women ordering the lighter shades of denim that Zappos still has left. Notice, the fit on the model looks different with the lighter washes as it does with the darker washes. That is because the jeans are different.

I typically wear an 8 and ordered an 8 but they are too big. I like the style and the material but not thrilled with my purchase. Considering exchanging them for a smaller size but don't want to get stuck with jeans that are too small!

These are nice jeans and I really love the color but sadly I had to return them. They were too tight because there was no give in them and even though they fit in the waist the legs were too tight. So I know by the end of the day I would be ripping them off. I am just going to stick with what fits me the best. But I must say I am so glad I found Zappos. Their website, shipping, pricing, and customer service is the best I have ever seen. That's Zappos!

Great jeans! They are a bit large around the waist. I would've purchased a size down but it was not available in this style. Received many compliments. Looks great dressed up and down. Pairs well with boots.

I wanted to love these jeans. I loved the color (turbulent indigo), the slight distressed areas and the overall fit was great (not too tight, not unflatteringly baggy) but for some reason just as another reviewer said, the crotch area had too much fabric and bunched up in a weird way. I got my normal size 26, I am 5'6" and 117 pounds for reference. I don't know if that issue is because of the higher rise (9 inch) but sadly I had to return these. I got the Levi's New Boyfriend and because the rise is only 8 inches, it did not have this problem. It's a shame because I would have loved these if not for that issue.

These are enormous. They are great material and very cute but run incredibly big. I'm always a 26 but went down a size to 25 based on other reviews. They don't even stay around my waist. Unfortunately all the 24s (24...crazy for me) are gone so these are going back.

I so wanted to love these. Would've kept if the waist was not so big and the crotch/zipper so bulky.

no curvature in the waistband and fairly high rise. in the waist, the 29 fit more like a 32, for me. the hips were comfortably roomy without swimming, but the tailoring in the leg....eh... I am 5'5" about 120 lbs, not petite, and have other Levis in size 29 that fit fine. But like all jeans - got to try them on and keep looking. The denim is a great color and stressing looks good, but i'm passing on fit completely. i don't think sizing down to a 28 would help with the cut of these jeans, for me.

I wanted to like these - I really did. However, someone really needs to measure the inseam. They are not 32 as I ordered...

These just got delivered, but my first impressions are that these have too much room in the body and not enough in the thighs and calves, which feel stuffed into them like a sausage. I personally feel as though the exact contours of my upper thigh as it meets The Zone should be divulged on request and through negotiation, and not displayed on immediate acquaintance. Plus, tight clothes are not comfortable. Remember when jeans were the most comfortable clothes you had? I long for those days to return. With the body too roomy, going up a size is not an option to improve the draping in the legs. That said, the color - I got the darkest ones - is a deep, rich, vibrant indigo, and I just love it. And you can't beat the structure and feel of 100% cotton. I'm allergic to spandex along with a lot of other non-natural fabrics, and it's getting just impossible for me to find jeans that I can wear without fear of rashes and a potential for anaphylactic shock. So it's nice to know there are still sources for 100% cotton denim jeans out there, and this fabric is classic and beautiful. I'm going to keep these to see if the legs have any give in them, but I've also ordered the non-customized and non-tapered 501s to see if I can't get the fit I m really looking for. And if I do, and the fabric is as gorgeous as these, I'm going to order 20 pair of them.

Mom jeans, and not in a good way.
The material is thick and sturdy, good quality. The wash is very dark. The fit is not going to be a stretchy skinny jean fit, so don't expect that. I wanted these as a cool alternative to super tight jeans, but they were just completely unflattering. Nothing modern about them.

Well, I had high hopes that these would be a nice fitting feminine version of the 501 - and they would be if they fit properly. First, the item description says that these jeans have a 32" inseam but they actually have a 28" inseam (shipped rolled to 26"). On my tall frame, they are much too short. Second, the fit is very large. I ordered my usual size but it was VERY roomy and, given that the denim is 100 percent cotton with no stretch, I know that these jeans would only become bigger with wear. I am sending them back.

Cute, but size 27 was way smaller than size 28. Consequently neither fit. So having to return both.

I have been trying to find a pair of relaxed boyfriend jeans that fit well but unfortunately these were not the jeans for me. I am 5'7" and 140 lbs with athletic legs. I ordered these jeans in my normal size, 8 and the waist was to big and the legs (thighs) were a bit to small. Ordering a size 6 might fix the waist but if the thighs on the 8 were almost to small i'm sure they would be on the size 6. These jeans are going back to Zappos.

I normally wear a Size 28/6. I'm 5/8 tall and need a 34-35 inseem. I ordered these Levi's in 28/34. Very disappointing. Unrolled, they were at my ankles -- more like 29 inches. Also, the taper made them snug on my calves, which combined with the baggier look up top, was a definite no-go. Such a waste of time to order something based on the information given and have it turn out to be something different.

I plead guilty to having an abundance of jeans in many styles: super skinny, straight, deconstructed, modern bell bottoms, boyfriend, cropped one's, etc. They range from high end brands to my worn out favorites that never quit making me feel happy. I came across Levi's 501 again on Zappo's and had an immediate sense of nostalgia. I usually wear 26 or 27's depending on brands and material. I am petite at 5' 2", 110 pounds. After reading many reviews here, I ordered size 24 and 25 in Indigo Trail. Incredible next day service- thank you! Both looked great but I opted for the 25's as I wanted a true boyfriend, baggy jean. The 24's were tighter but in a good way if you are looking for that style. I absolutely love them with my Converse sneakers or higher shoes. The jeans really can be stylized depending on your mood. I also ordered the white deconstructed ones (much cuter in person) and another lighter colored pair because I think the price point is right on and Levi's have a true distinction. But here is the warning, ladies. The indigo Trail one's, which I washed twice before wearing and 100% according to Levi's label, left a terrible blue dye stain in my white dryer tub. I spoke to my appliance store and they gave me some tips for removal but told me it is a difficult task with an uncertain outcome. I never had any clothing bleed in this way. It is enough to make me consider replacing my dryer as I fear putting in whites. To be decided. Might be worth a call to Levi's directly. Regrets? Things happen in life but I still love 501's.

Love the 100% cotton fabric - which I can't find elsewhere - but the length is not as advertised. I ordered a 32 and the actual inseam is about 27 - not even close. So disappointing.

These jeans ran bigger then expected at the waist. I normally wear a size 27 or 28 in AG Gold, or size 4 Banana Rep, but I tried both a 27 and 28 waist and they were just too big and sloppy looking. The real issue was with the inseam. At only 28 inches (I measure it) not 32 inches as stated on this site, they were way too short. Although I am 5'3", the inseam on these jeans were too short even for me. I was hoping for some of the hem of the pant to touch my foot. I was even willing to take these to the tailor to get them hemmed. However, these are too short. The wash really did remind me of the new blue jean wash of the 90's, with some whisker-like effects. Not a good color. I really wanted to like these jeans, but sadly the search continues for a pair of Levi's Button-Fly 501 Jeans.

These jeans ran HUGE. I am normally between a 27-28, I've purchased multiple Levi's before, and these were no where near fitting. I ordered a size 28, 32inch inseam (I'm 5'9" with long legs) and there was about a three inch gap in the waist of the pants. They are great, real denim material, but the size was ALL wrong. I won't be trying to purchase them again even though they were cute material.

Inconsistent sizing made it too difficult for a pair of jeans. After three attempts I give up.
Levi's should take note.

Ran super big! Would fit better on a taller person if they sized down as well..I'm 5'2" and these looked super frumpy on me, even with the correct inseam.

While I really like the jeans I get from Zappos, they are not 34 Length. I am so disappointed! The taq read 28x34 so I took off all the tags. Then I measured them because they looked so short and they were only 32? I don't understand that. Am contacting the company today.

Ok I wear 31 waist..low,down on my hips. For over 10 years this has been my size. However this size 31 waist is at least 6 inches too big. Measured it. So until the sizing is more accurate do not waste your time trying to get a good fit. Absolutely ridiculous.
