I have had 4 pair of this exact slipper and loved them. They used to be as comfortable and sturdy as they are cute. Even though my big toes wore through and made holes in my last pair after only 3 months I ordered another pair. The fabric now is thinner the soles are thinner and the arch is in the wrong place for my foot. I need the thicker sole the earlier models had. These are much harder and offer no cushioning. Sadly they are going back and I must begin the search for a new go-to-re-order standby slipper

I love the look. The design features are more vibrant than pictured. I do feel they are wider than a similar pair that I own. Not so disappointed that I'll return, but fit is a little roomier than I like (probably will be perfect with socks).

These are a fine quality and pretty. I so wanted these to be my perfect slippers, that I checked with the Giesswein company. They were helpful and timely in their responses, but the advice was to wear a woolen sock with the slipper. Alas, that would make them too warm for me, so I have to return them.If the width was correct, I'd have rated the slippers 5 stars in every category.

Very wide but so cute & comfy!!

My first couple of pairs back around 10 years ago, were wonderful. Then when I ordered a few more, the backs wore out overnite. Falling apart slippers at $100 a crack. This company, Giesswein, needs to go back 10 years and make the slippers as they did then. I hate buying them now.

I bought these to replace my Ugg Ainsley moccasins, but ended up returning them because they are a loose fit despite being the right size (the wool is less structured than what I am used to), which wasn't what I was looking for. The flowers are cute, if a little young, and sewn on to last. These are a good choice, if it's what you are looking for. They just didn't work for me.

Love these slippers, they're adorable and have very good support for a slipper. The problem is they run large. I made the mistake of keeping them, but now they've stretched out and are way too big. Something else to note - while they do have a rubber coating on the bottom, it is very thin and after 6 months is starting to wear off. Definitely not a slipper you should be outside in, even for just a quick trip to the mailbox. In hindsight, I probably should have kept the Haflingers I ordered at the same time, or exchanged these for a smaller size.

bought these same slippers in the past. the new style has a much larger opening. my foot was slipping out of shoe when trying to walk.

So disappointed to send these slippers back. They are adorable, well made and worth the price. For my size 8 size these slippers were too large overall in sizes 37, 38, 39. The 36 might have fit except they would have been too short

WAY TOO WIDE! The style on the shoes is adorable. The purple color is beautiful. I normally wear an 8 1/2 medium. I ordered the slippers in size 39 and 40. I loved the arch support and the stability of the sole. However, these slippers run ENORMOUSLY wide. Sadly, I had to return them. Instead I purchased the Haflinger Poppy in size 40. They too ran somewhat wide, but they have a ribbing around the opening that helps them stay snug on my feet.

I expected better support like I get in another wool competitive brand.

The arch is in the wrong place and the soles are flimsy. I was expecting a lot more for the price. I have wide feet, and these slippers were wide on me. They'd be nice with two pairs of thick wool socks. The wool is nice and they're definitely cute, but no worth the price.

This pair may be incorrectly sized. It should be extra wide rather than medium. Otherwise, all was great. I would have kept them.

This is a lovely slipper and I loved it at first, however my husband purchased this for me as a gift in June and it's now beginning of January and it's already worn through on the toes as well as the bottoms. The bottom wore through within about 2 months. I've never worn through a pair of shoes, much less slippers, in my life so I would say these are really nice but not built to last. I contacted the manufacturer who just said to go back to Zappos so was essentially told they can't do anything about this and I don't have an answer about whether this was a fluke or whether this is just what to expect. I have only worn this slipper inside the house, and it seems crazy to me that it looks so worn after seven months. I have Ugg slippers that are 10 years old that look better (although admittedly they are not as comfortable - I love the arch support). If they lasted longer, I would have given these 5 stars all around, but $111 is too much to pay for basically disposable slippers.

This was to be my second pair, but mine arrived without the insert, just the black underlining. What the heck? Don't know if they are meant to come in a box as well, but these came in just a plastic bag. Have to send them back.

The slippers were attractive, but not sized well for my foot. The length was great, but the slippers were huge in width (I do not have narrow feet). When I tried to walk in them, I could hardly keep them on my feet. Also, the wool on the top was "floppy", not firm like boiled wool usually is. I wear my slippers without socks and the wool was very scratchy and irritating to my skin. I have other boiled wool slippers and I don't have problems with them being scratchy. The slippers were attractive, but unwearable for me.

Having purchased these same slippers in the past, which I love,I reordered the same. Unfortunately they do not fit the same. The opening is really large. My feet slip out as I walk. I am not even sure if a smaller size would work as the length of the current size is good. I am sorry that the style was altered! I am disappointed and will need to return them.
