I liked everything about these slippers and would have kept them except the arch was too big for me. For anyone that needs good arch, I recommend these slippers for you.

First of all, these are adorable. I had ordered a few pair of slippers that had arch support to wear at home to help heal my plantar fasciitis. Two pair were Giesswein and they each fit differently. This pair was far less comfortable than the ones I decided to keep (the Dottie). From the outside they looked like the same cut/style but the Flora's arch support didn't seem as prominent. If I hadn't been looking specifically for arch support I would have kept these for the cuteness factor, but practicality won out this time.

I loved these slippers. They are stylish and comfortable but at about 3 months the sole started to wear down to the felt. When I contacted Giesswein about it they just brushed it off and said that some people have to buy slippers more often than others and that I shouldn’t wear them outside (which I didn’t). They didn’t want to take ownership of the situation at all.

I originally ordered these in the charcoal color with brightly colored flowers in a US size 8 and, as many others reported, they were HUGE. They fit like at least a US 9...maybe even bigger. I returned the size 8 and got a US size 7 which is so much better! There is still some room around my foot in the slipper, but they are incredibly comfortable and feel like a comfy blanket on my feet. The applique flowers are adorable and my day feels brighter every time I look at my feet. I have wanted these for a very long time and put it off due to the price. Now I'm so happy I bought them. I'll wear them a ton in my house this winter and beyond.

I've had 8 or 9 of this style. The problem I have is the back strip that comes up from the sole and is behind your heel, wears out within a few weeks. It comes loose and the fabric is acutually worn out. I sent for a size larger (8) just so my heel would not even touch it, but it wore out within 4 weeks and is hanging loose again. I don't remember my first couple of pairs doing this. For the over $100 price, I shouldn't have to deal with this problem. I've had the flowers and the gnomes..

I LOVE these slippers..I've tried them on and they seem to fit perfect. Too hot to wear them yet but can't wait. I've never had a pair of slippers that were so pretty. Love the design.

Buyer beware. I received these two days ago and loved them initially. After a few hours of wear inside my house the insoles flattened down and the slipper stretched considerably. I contacted Zappos because I paid a lot of money for these slippers and the quality was not what I expected. The Zappos representative told me that according to their records the pair I received were actually made in Fiji? The label inside the slipper says it was made in Austria, I'm now convinced they were made in Fiji. Very disappointed.

I have had 4 previous pair of this in black, 2 pair of the same style in Navy. I opened the box and just could not believe how beautiful this color is. I love these slippers. One pair lasts me 2 years before the bottoms start to wear out, and they do well with machine washing...My dogs do a number on them occasionally, but they still keep on working. Love these slippers.

I really like these slippers! I have been looking for a comfortable pair. They have great arch support. They run big so I would suggest going down a size. I wear an 8½-9 and the 8 fits. I have narrow feet and they do run wider than I would like but I am keeping them since I have tried many others and these are the best by far!

Love the design. Love the feel. Love the material. Fits perfectly (I ordered my size knowing they would stretch, which is what I wanted since I wear socks in them. However, almost a year later the bottom grip of the slippers is worn out, and there is a hole in the toe. I've owned other Giessweins and have never had this problem before. I wear them EVERY day but never outside and am not that tough on them.... very disappointed with an otherwise fantastic pair of slippers.

Beautiful house shoes...very cute. But my one complaint is they are Very wide. I don't have narrow feet . Good arch support....I make sure I have these on when I cook or wash dishes to ease strain on my back

On my 3rd pair over several years. They are so comfy & hold up to indoor & outdoor use. Warm in winters, yet doesn’t overheat in warmer weather due to natural wool. Ready for my next pair & only wish they come in more designs.

I tried 2 other Giesswein slippers that actually hurt my arch but because I loved the non slip soles and warmth and support the brand offers I ordered the Flora and they are perfect for me. They provide arch support and comfort and the design is very cute. These are now my inside shoes!

I never thought I would pay this amount for a pair of slippers , but I am ordering a second pair. I have many foot problems and having a high arch is one of them. These slippers offer the support needed eliminating the pain of flat slippers, plus they are warm and comfortable. I like having the removable arch for cleaning when needed.

Giesswein slippers are fantastic! Comfort, style and quality. This is my 2nd pair and can testify to their comfort and quality. I always wear a light sock with my slippers so these fit well. I can understand how some say they are too big but the length is spot on and maybe slightly loose but who wants a tight house shoe?! I am a solid size 8 and these are perfect.

Just lovely, comfortable and I can tell will wear well with the quality materials of wool. I am expecting they will last a long time and there for are worth the extra $.

These have great arch support for slippers, without too much weight. Plus super cute detailing. Sizing was true to maybe a bit on the larger side both in length and width, but that's a good thing for slippers. I've had boiled wool scuffs from many other brands before, and these are by far the best ones I've had.

So cute. If you wear slippers, why not have style? Glad I ordered a little larger, (1/2 size up). Perfect

Cute shoe. I'm a size 6 and the 37 fit fine, slightly large but not enough to size down. LOVE the arch support. So comfy. I don't think they are too wide, but I also dont have narrow feet.

The size 41 fit my mom's 10 D (wide) foot perfectly. In her case, we didn't need to size down as other reviews had suggested -- we tried the 40 (women's 9) as well, but it was too small. These seem to be true to size, but for sure wider than standard. My mom would have preferred for the flower accents to be more subtle, but I think they're super cute! Wish more slipper co's did something like the Acorn Talara, though that slipper was ridiculously narrow -- good design; poor function. Geisswein got both right.

In every other type of shoe I am a 38 but these are HUGE. Width is huge and length is way to long. I'm not even sure where to go from here other than I am returning them.

Best slippers ever. The cheery floral design also helps me to identify my left slipper from my right before I've put on my glasses. Just enough arch support, toasty warm and breathable; my feet never get too hot. All my other shoes feel a little bit neglected now...

What a perfect slipper! So comfortable and made so well with a removable arched foot bed, which I love. The design is so beautiful, as well. I just love them!

First of all, I have had 4 pair of these slippers. I also have the one pair of Spital for my cabin, plus another with a bird and pinecone. The one problem I had with my first 2 pair of this design was the orange trim wore off at the heel, but I wore them till I went through the bottom...Loved them. Now the Flora has reduced the orange trim to just a stitch and they are wearing great. I ordered two more pair a few months ago. They usually last me 2 years of constant wearing. I can wear them out on the porch and deck too. Love these slippers and love the German look design...

These are great slippers. The wool is not too warm. They are lighter weight and more flexible than they look. They look more structured like Birkenstocks but they are not. They still have arch support which is important to me since I wear them all day when I am at home doing house chores on they weekend. The applique flowers are really cute too.
