Having bought Bernie Mev in assorted styles over the last 4 years, the draw was its amazing comfort and style and durability. The gentle give in the webbing design makes all the difference....both flexible and never stretching out of shape. This style is great, but the web design as pictured has no flexibility, no give. The toe box is very hard and the shoe runs short so it is not at all comfortable and hurts at the toe box. I had to return them. My hope is that Bernie Mev will stay with the flexible webbing that characterized the brand and its comfort.

These are just the shoes that I was looking for but I bought the wrong size. Too small; so I reordered. They are light weight and are will be easy to walk around in. I cannot wait to get the larger size.

I bought 3 different styles of Bernie Mev including this one, all in size 40. None of the shoes are the same size in terms of how the foot fits; one was significantly smaller than the others. This style, ZigZag might run a smidgen small but seemed true to 40 (note that I typically wear a size 9 in US which sometimes translates to 40 or 41 depending upon the brand). I absolutely love this shoe - I like the platform height; the weight is non-existent (almost like wearing a feather) and the style is cute-edgy. And I believe they would be very easy and comfortable to walk in. Unfortunately, the edge of the bootie cuts into my right ankle bone so I'm returning. The shoe edge isn't as firm as if it were leather but it's not worth it to me to have that continual rubbing. This bootie will work with shorter skirts; I didn't like the profile with pants or jeans - the feet looked a little boxie and clumsy.

These are amazing - stylish and comfortable, I have worn them with tights and a skirt, leggings, jeans - they are so versatile.

These are the most comfortable new shoes. I wore them all day and they still felt great on my feet at the end of the day, and they look fantastic! The best casual shoe for the money ever!

These are so cute and comfortable. They are lightweight. I love them so much that I ordered another pair in another color. These bronze ones match my knee high socks with gold metallic thread. To me they are more of a dark gold.

These are great looking shoes! (If you are over 40, think "KISS boots." These shoes are just so funky and cool!) They are not as comfortable as I was expecting, and they seem to run a little large, so that is a disappointment, but I am going to get some inserts and see if that helps. I am hoping that these can be an everyday kind of shoe. I love the style, heel height, and platform height.

I have had to send two sizes back now, I first ordered my true size, which upon sight I knew was to small. Exchanged it for a half size larger, which didn't fit either! Would now like to order a whole size larger but it's not available. They are nice looking shoes.

Love the shoe, I've had them twice but this particular pair the zipper did not work well. Had to return them.

Love these - I always get compliments on them even from the teenagers I work with! They are comfortable, practical and flashy. Cute with leggings, jeans or dresses/skirts.

Love this shoe!! The more you wear the better it feels. I did have to return the 1st pair for a size larger but once you get the correct size it will be on of the best shoes you will ever own! Comfort and style at its best!!

This is my third pair of Bernie Mev shoes. That should tell you a lot. They are funky and colorful and wonderfully comfortable. That said, this style is a bit different than the others I've tried. The stretchy material seems to stretch a bit less, although that could be because of the style. As a result, the shoe feels a little less roomy. Not a half a size, but somewhere in between "felt true to size" and "felt half a size smaller." That's why I deducted a star in the ratings. I bought this pair to wear with jeans and leggings in the fall and winter. They are just too cute. Can't wait for the cold weather to put them on!

Wore these shoes for the first time today. Got so many complements. They are so comfortable too. Love the style want to order every style that bernie mev. offers. Absolutely love them, worth every penny.

Love these shoes have them in 3 colors. Had to return all 3 for a larger size! According to the chart I am a size 11 now! I’m actually a 9. So they run very small. Also, you pay for return shipping so it gets expensive!

I "broke them in" this weekend. The rounded heel was a surprise at first to walk on, but no big. If you want to wear socks, order up at least a half size. Very comfortable and already have had several compliments.

My actual size is a 9 wide. In this shoe, I had to go with the 42, which the information stated was a women's 12 medium. I would swim in an actual women's 12 medium and it would flop up and down on my feet. The sizing is way off on these. I had wanted the olive/khaki ones, but they were too small in the 41, and my toe was touching the inside tip of the shoe, but the width was fine. Because they felt so comfortable and cushiony, I went for the black in a 42, as that was the only color left in one size up. So glad I did! I wish they would produce this style again, and extend the range to include the higher end of the size range. There are going to be some people who won't be able to wear it because it's just smaller than stated. Very comfy and stylish. The zipper does not bother me at all. I'm too happy with the overall look and feel to be concerned with a zipper bouncing when I walk, and it isn't causing me any pain.

Love the shoe and the style but need one size larger, way too tight! I will try again.

Was so excited to get my first pair of Bernie Mev ZigZag's. Excellent customer service from Zappos. Although the European size 38 normally is US size 7.5/8, I found these to run a bit small. Not too many comments on this site about sizing, but did see those comments on other shoe sites. I hope to be able to enjoy/wear these. As don't have time to return as I'm leaving for Europe in the morning :-( Maybe another style would be better for me.

The Bernie Zig Zag shoe has a hard toe and your foot slides down into that hard toe. Other than that, it is an attractive shoe. Looks as pictured.

These sizes are crazy. I wish Bernie Mev would stay consistent. The zippers on this are not smooth. I love the way they look but I've ordered two pairs so far and neither fit. Maybe third time is a charm.

My only complaint, and it is a glaring one, was how bright the fabric was, almost as if it was covered in glitter. It looked a lot more matte in the pictures online. It was really too bad because I loved the style of them & they were very comfortable.

I fit a USA 9 shoe easily, and sometimes in Sandals I can use an 8.5 In euro sizes I'm usually a 40 although sometimes I take a 39. This shoe at 40 is too short and too tight. It is very attractive and light, and comfortable to walk in. The silver fabric is NOT elastic like some the BM's other shoes.
