I really like my multi-color Bernie Mev Drake shoes, so I wanted to try a woven boot. I ordered it in the silver and black. It has the same elevated heel as the Drake, is a nice height and seems fairly comfortable. My only actual criticism of the design is that the zipper on the side, which needs to be unzipped to get into the boot, is quite stiff. I ultimately decided that the boot isn't for me. The silver color is almost futuristic, and I don't think that I would wear them very often. So, for the price, I'm sending them back.

I ordered these since I have had great luck with Bernie Mev shoes. These were not as comfortable with a stiffer back. Also, the zipper pulls are large and make a noise when you walk. I am returning them. I wish they had worked for me.

I've tried 3 different styles of Bernie mev shoes over time. I'm drawn to these stretchy designs, but they never fit properly. I top out size-wise on most brands of shoes (10 1/2 or 11.) I agree with other reviewers that Bernie Mevs run small - so when they don't fit, I'm out of luck. The other problem is that the heel seat is too shallow. Even if I manage to get the shoe on, my heel pops out with the first step. I'm middle-aged with a bad ankle, knee, and hip - all on the same side. I'm always looking for shoes that fit well, feel good, and (hopefully) aren't butt-ugly. Bernie Mevs just don't work for me. It's a shame because I love the stretchy concept.

I didn't like how the zipper pull jangled as I walked, also it's hard to zip open and close. Returning. I'm hit or miss with Bernie Mevs...

this is the first pair of Bernie Mev that has hurt my foot. The zipper/stiching line digs in with everystep. Love them but they have to go back

I typically wear a shoe anywhere between 9.5 and 10. I have tried bernie mev before and they are always too small. I ordered a 41 this time (size 11) and it was still WAY too small. It's too bad because they are cute shoes, but I'll need a 42 or 43 to fit me. Do they even make them that big? LOL

These are crazy off with the size compared to other shoes of this brand.
