I've purchased these shoes elsewhere for less expensive, but I needed a pair ASAP for a trip so opted for the more expensive Zappos with free one day shipping. Be advised, these shoes are NOT the same shoes I purchase from other retailers. Maybe the other sellers have older stock and Bernie Mev. has changed their design (this happens when good shoes get popular — they cut back on costs and ride on their reputation), but the Bernies I received in the mail yesterday are not as well made, have totally different branding on the sole, the box is cheap cardboard and not a "real" shoebox, and it does not come with the typical Bernie travel bag. In other words, if I didn't know better, I'd wonder if these were genuine Bernies. The certainly feel and look unlike any other Bernie I have in my collection. Just be aware... and possibly look for another retailer that doesn't have the same volume of stock turnover. When a respected shoe manufacturer changes their design, it's NEVER a good thing in my experience.

These shoes really are fabulous, comfortable and light! I normally wear a size 6 which is equal to the 36 but because of the way the sizing runs I got the 6.5 which is equal to the 37. If I am able to order these again, I will use the 37's if I am wearing medium to the thick socks but would rather have the 36 for no socks or the very thin no show socks during the summer. I noticed that a lot of other reviewers did not explain the fit well in their reviews. However, I definitely advise getting these they are more than worth it!

Nice shoe but, for me, ran very small. I usually wear 8-8.5, bought a 9, had to return for a 10. I have never worn a 10 in my life.

I LOVE these shoes! They are my favorite! I love the way they look and are very comfortable. I have gotten several compliments already and have only worn them twice. They are the best!

Love the Bernie Mev. Gem style shoe. It slides past my bunions and fits just right. As I have a wide foot, and I think Bernie Mev. runs a bit small, I order up a size and everything works perfectly. This style can be dressed up or down no matter which color you pick.

I am new to Bernie Mev But wish I had found them sooner. They are truly comfortable and quite stylish. I'm very happy with them and I get compliments all the time. Bernie Mev will be getting a boost in business with all the people I've recommended.

These shoes are very comfortable and can be worn all day without any pain. They're almost too comfortable in that you think they are gym shoes and tend to get careless with them. Dont forget they have a heel and if you run in them, you could fall. I receive compliments on these every day and only wish they were made in this style with a higher heel. I wear them to the office and at night with jeans. Glad these were invented!

these are THE most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I work in retail and am on my feet 8 hours a day. These are SO comfortable....I recommend them to everyone!

This style of Bernie MeV is very comfortable, sturdy and true to the Bernie MeV name. It came with the BM shoe box and dust bag. It seems to depend on the material they use for each style of shoe. I have two pair where the material is lighter and less tight fitting. I have two pair that the material is tighter and the fit is snug. All in all I enjoy the comfort and height they give me. I have washed them and had success. I also want to give a shout out to Zappos.....I have used them for years and they always do what they promise. I have tried other on line shoe stores and find they deliver less than their promises. ??

I almost twisted my ankles twice since I started wearing the shoes four days ago. It's a great pair of shoes and really, really comfortable. But it's terrible for walking on uneven sidewalks and crosswalks like those here in San Francisco. The top (weaving part) of the shoe is not stiff enough to hold and support the feet, which allows the feet to slip sideway.

I have really bad, old feet -- a bunion and other problems. I had just about given up on wearing any kind of heel -- then 2 friends told me about bernie mev's. These shoes are outstanding -- I now have an attractive shoe that gives me height and comfort!

My first bernie mev purchase. I wear a 7 1/2 M 95% of time. In this shoe, I ordered accordingly; and had to return because they were a full size too small. I liked the shoe so ordered a full sizse up. I love this shoe. comfortable and sturdy. I think they are stylish and a tad bit funky. First purchase with this unusual fabric so hoping it holds up.

The fit was a bit narrow compared to my other Bernies. No room for socks of any kind which defeats the purpose of shoes rather than sandals. Look great however so I will keep & stretch them out

I had to laugh when I opened the box. I followed the directives of other reviewers and ordered a size up. (I am size 11, so I ordered 12.) When I took them out of the box, I thought I had mistakenly ordered children's shoes. They are TINY. I tried them on for kicks, and they barely contain my feet--very tight, short, and narrow. Obviously I will be returning these. Those of you who can find a pair that fits: beware: the sole of the shoe is hard and slippery--I would put tape on the bottom or something. Also, I ordered the pewter, and the fabric of the shoe is scratchy.

I wanted to love these. They were cute and so comfortable in the front of the foot, even though I have wide toes and a crazy high arch! I was excited. Unfortunately the part that grips the back of the heel is very low and inadequate, so the back of my foot slid up as soon as I started walking. Sad!

Unfortunately wasn't the right size and because we can't do a second exchange Zappos is going to return the money. The guy in customer service was really helpful and he offered to send information when you have the right size so we can purchase again. Thanks again for your excellent customer service.

Have several pairs of Bernie Mev and absolutely love them all. Super comfortable, hug the foot so well.

This is my wife's second pair of this kind, that she's wearing, and she's very pleased.

I love these shoes. I am hoping that the open toe style become available again. They feel as if you are walking on air. Light and supportive!

Because I have bunions, these are great shoes and will buy more, because the other brand that I like, Fly London, is a lot more expensive and love the wedge and height of this shoe.

I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 US in medium or sometimes wide width. The size 39 fit well and has been very comfortable. I was worried these might look heavy, but they do not, and work nicely with either jeans or skirts. Almost as comfy as sneakers, with a bit more height and style. They are very light, and the memory foam foot bed is kind to my troubled feet.

Another pair of Bernie Mevs to add to my collection. I don’t wear anything else all summer. Love them!

I am new to Bernie Men, but had a similar type of shoe with the woven elastic. My previous pair did not have the awesome wedge bottom that the Bernie Mev has. I absolutely love them and wear them whenever I need a dressier closed black shoe. Sooooo comfy. I love ordering through Zappos as they are always prompt and helpful with ordering and returns. Who knew buying shoes could be even more fun than ever! Thank you Zappos.
