A lovely boot - gorgeous soft leather in a nice shade of brown. I have wide calves, but not super wide, and this boot fits great without looking at all like a wide calf boot. It's pretty comfortable, though I did get one blister after a long day of wear when I first got them. Probably my own fault for not breaking them in. Overall, I'm delighted to have found such a pretty, stylish boot.

Holy cannoli do I love these boots, and I am a certified boot junkie. I have a wider calf at about 16.5-17” which can be hard to fit, and they fit like a dream. Even have room to put them over skinny jeans. The back zip is great (and how actual equestrians like me zip our riding boots) and the color is rich and beautiful. Zero time to break in and I walked around NYC with them for hours with no issues whatsoever. Absolutely love them. Best purchase of the year so far.

LOVE this Gray boot !! I have been looking for a true gray boot. This is it...tall and wide enough in the calf !! I have not owned a boot that zips at the back. The first zip up was a bit tight but no more after the first wearing. I would have to say it does fit a bit snugger right at the ankle but not TOO tight for sure. Very good looking....totally recommend

I love these boots but I felt they run a bit small. I'm returning my 6.5 for a 7.

I LOVE these boots. I have big calves and a friend bought these boots in another color and I tried hers on. I decided to buy my own pair and try them out for myself for real. They are HEAVENLY and perfect. Now I want another pair! Thank you Zappo's and Sam Edelman.

Thought I'd need a wide calf due to hiking etc.. but, these looked way too wide! my calves measured 15' at widest. too bad cause they're both comfy and cute.

I have worn these boots for fall/winter/spring all over the US for the past 2 years. They are still comfortable and holding up great. I will probably replace them with another pair of the same boots!

These boots are gorgeous! My calfs are “athletic” a bit over 17” and these fit with skinny jeans tucked in. Color is gorgeous and a great price! Will absolutely be purchasing in other colors!

I really wanted to keep these as they are so beautiful but the odd footbed pressed up against the outside of the soles of my feet and made them uncomfortable.

This shoe is very narrow. The calf and shaft size were fine, but I found it difficult to get on especially with the zipper in the back. I felt like I would eventually break the zipper and it was hard to get my foot in the boot. However, the boots are really pretty and the leather is soft and has great feel to it. The color is also really pretty. A quality boot, for a narrow foot. The size by length was fine, it was just too narrow.

I have been looking for just the right boots since I was gifted with a pair of Timberland boots for Christmas that didn't fit my calves. I have tried some Tevas also while looking for 'wide calf'. Thought these were the ones. I put them on and they actually zipped up with no problem. However, they gap out very wide at the top and look like galoshes. Not very attractive so I returned them. The search goes on.

I ordered the wide version based on other reviews, however I wish I hadn't. It fit well across the front of my foot, but my heel was flopping around in it. The calf was wide enough, but I didn't like how it kept getting wider near the knee and didn't tapered back in for a more streamlined fit. The footbed was very comfortable and I loved the rubber bottom for some shock absorption.

They size seemed fine. The width definitely narrow. Thankfully I do have narrow feet so that is not a problem for me. The grey color is not as pictured. It is a really light grey so if you are ok with that, then they are a good buy if you have wide calves.

This is a very nice boot. I have 17 inch calves so ordered the extra wide calf and a half size bigger that I normally would. The boots zip up fine however I would not be able to tuck jeans or leggings into them. Since that’s not a goo look for short legged me, I don’t see it as a dealbreaker though others might. The boot itself is very comfortable. The leather looks and feels high quality, and I especially appreciated the back zipper. And as always Zappos customer service was beyond compare.

Liked the boot, but it runs narrow. I can generally get by with ordering a 1/2 size up on narrow footwear, but it it was still uncomfortabley narrow and too long. I'm on the waiting list for the wide width, which seems to be popular because it's been sold out. The M width is so narrow, I wonder if buyers are finding that W is actually closer to average width in the case of this boot.

The calf is legit big. I usually squeeze in if I can get in at ll and I was swimming. The foot was too narrow for me. They're nice.

The Grey Frost color is the PERFECT color grey. The leather is buttery soft. At first I wasn’t sure about the uneven shaft at the top, but have now decided it really adds to the character/stylishness of the boot. May be just a tiny bit long, but decided to keep the Size 7 and let socks take up the extra room.

The boots are gorgeous and I would have loved to keep them, but my heel kept slipping up and the toes were to pointed for my comfort.

Beautiful boots, and room for my calves no problem. My normal size even was the perfect length to wear warm socks, but the foot is so narrow it was painful to simply have them on. Hoping the wide width is better!

These boots are very nice - but the footbed is not wide. I was really disappointed that I had to return them because nice boots in grey are very hard to find.

Pretty boot but was way too narrow for my foot. I have athletic calves so if you have a narrow foot, athletic calves and want to be able to tuck your jeans into your boots - this one will do the trick!

The foot was very narrow -- the calf part may have fit o.k. but from the bottom of the zipper at the back of the heel, going up - I couldn't even begin to get the zipper up!! Not a true fit at all. I even ordered a half-size larger allowing for a winter sock!! disappointed - won't order Sam Edelman label again.

Well, apparently I am somewhere in between regular and wide-calf. I had way too much room in the calf of this boot, so they are going back. That said, this would have been a very attractive and comfortable boot it the regular calf fit me. I haven't tried the regular fit, so I can't comment on that -- just figured I'd try the wide-calf.
