I ordered my size- 11 medium, since New balance usually fits me well. They were extremely uncomfortable and pinched around the midfoot after wearing them for a short while. I would never buy these shoes again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I usually wear a wide width in NB 880v12 and they fit great but in these sneakers the area right before the toe box was too tight and the heal felt loose. Not for me.

These are alarmingly wide. You can see how the shoe has a huge curve to the outside.
I wear a 2A and bought the narrow. There is a huge vacant pocket on the outside of my forefoot.
I swim around in them even using a lacing pattern to increase narrow fit.
I think they are even dangerous to wear, given the poor fit.
Do not sell these as narrow shoes, New Balance! Waste of money, frustrating, and dangerous.

My feet rubbed up against the sides, and the shoe felt asymmetrical, somehow.

I had to send them back. Ordered an 8 but my toes were hitting the toe box. It was also more narrow than I wanted.

I love NB but this model runs too small for my "B" width. Too snug in the toebox area so size half up for better fit.

Unfortunately they run narrow. The 574s always fit very well in standard with, not these tennis shoes unfortunately.

It's a beautiful looking shoe initially, but upon closer look the details are quite sloppy - very noticeable glue marks, some flaking in the paint one the soles and poor stitch quality overall. I am usually a fan of New Balance brand and have paid much less previously. This was a huge disappointment.

I bought these to wear for walking in the Arizona heat and I think the material would have been fine. What I did not discover until too late was the ridge/seam going horizontal across my heal. A couple of miles in and a huge blister started right at that seam. I'm surprised at New Balance would let a product go out that had such a noticeable ridge where the 2 pieces come together. And because I wore them I'm out more money than I would like for a shoe that I doubt I will even wear in the yard.

I usually love New Balance but the toe box was too narrow and too flat making the shoe seem too short.

It seems new balance shoes are no longer truly wide. I’ve worn this shoe ~10 times now in hopes I would break it in, but it is just too narrow. Disappointed.

I have worn New Balance for many years - the only tennis shoes that are comfortable for me. I worry that New Balance is trying to become more fashionable or save on materials, but when it comes to shoes, a size needs to stay the same. The footprint of these sneakers was smaller than that of the same size New Balance tennis shoe that I bought a year ago - too small for me now.

I have worn this type of New Balance shoes for many years but this new style did not work for me. Once got my foot in the shoe it just hurt. Shoe too tight, too flat in front- just so uncomfortable couldn't wait to take them off. And I don't think a larger size would have helped. Returned the shoes. I also use arch support orthotics that worked with previous styles of this series.

The shoes seem cheaper than they use to be. No arch support. Sent them back . I always bought new balance but not any more. Found others brand with great support. Might have lost a customer by making them cheaper and increasing prices.

I was a NewBalance fan until these purchases. If you're in need of shoes for endurance for tennis & pickleball, leave this shoe on the shelf. They are short & tight. After an hour of continuous playing, your feet will want to change shoes. I'm stuck! Keeping your $100+

The shoes looked good but even though I bought a wide they were too tight. I exchanged them for the white version and they fit perfect. My pickleball game has improved significantly!

Ordered WC1006WS Size 6 B. The box contained two different size shoes, one a size six and one a size 6.5. Neither size fit so returning without replacing.

THE BEST SHOE CREATED FOR TENNIS COURT BY NEW BALANCE IN YEARS BECAUSE IT FLEXES BECAUSE IT HAS GROOVES CUT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SOLE TO ALLOW IT TO FLEX IN KEY AREAS. FINALLY, SOMETHING USEFUL FROM NEW BALANCE FOR THE TENNIS COURT. TRUE SIZING, EXCELLENT SUPPORT.

I agree with all the other reviews. I loved the 1005s. Owned three pairs. They had a roomy toe box, important for a high arched narrow foot. I play on both Har-Tru and hard court and the shoe was perfect. Then I bought a 1006. It runs a half size smaller, but since I wear an 11 and NB doesn't make an 11.5 my choice is to wear a shoe that will be too big (12) or one that is tight unless I wear the thinest sock I own. Even then, the shoe has a more pointed design (why that makes sense for an athletic shoe I don't know) so it is both short and tight in the toe box. I went back to my old (worn out) 1005s until I find another shoe made by another company. New Balance, you made a huge mistake with this shoe. Please go back to the old design.

I tried this shoe on in the New Balance store and it felt very comfortable, although I had to go up a half size. On the tennis court I experienced painful numbness in my toes and forefoot. Loosening the laces gave temporary relief but reduced the ankle support. I'm experimenting with orthotics to see if that helps but I think the design of the shoe is just too unforgiving during use. I won't risk wearing these shoes in a match until I can figure out how to soften them up.

This shoe does not fit my regular size. It has an odd half moon-shaped curve about it almost as though there was a defect in the initial pattern for the shoe.
