Customer Reviews New Balance WX623v3

I ordered this shoe to compare it to the New Balance 577, which has been my favorite through many incarnations of the style and model number. The toe box on this model is narrower than the one on the 577. It looks more stylish, but is not enough room for my toes. I am returning these and keeping my new 577's.

For the price, this is a decent shoe. My other New Balance shoes (WW411v2) have a mesh upper, and I needed a shoe that offered more support and comfort in colder weather. Had to wait a couple of months to order these since they were out of stock. I wear a 6.5 wide and these feel true to size and width. I’ve only had the shoes for about a week, and they are still adjusting to my feet. So far, so good. My orthotic inserts also fit even though the shoe liner is not removable. I'm disappointed that the shoes only come in black or white and am thinking about getting some leather dye from the craft store to jazz them up a bit. I'll keep shopping Zappos for my New Balance shoes since the selection, prices and shipping are the best ever!

Clunky. Shoe looks really big in my foot. Sturdy.

Good fit. True to size. Chunkier than I wanted as far as the look goes.

Hate buying shoes anywhere for anything!! Having said that, these are great shoes for all around life stuff! Fit is as close as it will get given my half size difference between the two feet. Zappos does a great job and makes trying and returning shoes pretty painless!

Great sneaker, but hard to keep dry/clean because of material.

This WX623v3 shoe is longer and wider than NB shoes of the same size and width that I purchased previously. My heel slips when walking.

Love these for easy/moderate hiking. The last pair I had seemed to have a little better arch support, those. Good construction and super comfortable.

Fits great. Feels and looks good, but could have better arch support. Zappos is the best and just about only place that I can find shoes in 2E width. The free shipping and returns make it just about the only choice for shoes for me.

As usual the New Balance shoes are really comfortable. I only wish the style didn't look so plain. Don't know what I expected when I ordered black though. They are true to size and great for walking.

The size and fit were not for me.
